I have tried several nail places around town and this is my favorite. The only problem I have is that they are almost always very busy, which requires an appointment. I love how clean the establishment is and how they sterilize their instruments and the tubs after every use. I have been going there for several years. I like the way they cut my toenails, massage my legs and the selection of nail colors is outstanding. The absolute biggest selling feature for me is that the shop doesn't reek of acrylic chemicals like every other nail salon I've been to. Very disappointed with my visit today. I had an appt made for 12:30 , but had to wait until 1:00. I selected the basic pedicure with shellac and all that was done was a nail trim a cuticle trim that included a nice big cut on my big toe and some lotion rubbed on legs. When I've gone in the past my feet were always scrubbed with a pumice stone. She offered the cheese grater, but all that does is cut my heels and I'm almost positive those aren't even supposed to be used anymore. I asked for a sparkle top coat and she did clear. 3 times I’ve gone with an appointment and turned away. I had been coming here for over a year. The last excuse was, ‘There are 3 at 3.’ And my appointment was for 3. Maybe if there were names next to the times instead of just ‘3’ it wouldnt have happened but I said 3 because I got off at 245 but apparently she put me down for 245. Do not come here. I came in for a new set of acrylics and the guy left my nails thick, uneven, sloppy and they didn’t come out with the right color. (I could go on for an hour about how I should have known they weren’t going to come out right when he didn’t even have me rinse my hands after filing before applying gel clear polish.. Etc).. When I pointed out the flaws after he was finished they acted like it was my fault, even going as far to tell me the guy who did them is th...e best there ... Ummm, if he’s the best manicurist you have, you are in trouble. The nails weren’t even flush to my nail bed .. they were curved and uneven. The other girl in the salon tried to fix them and ended up cutting me by accident, let me say she wasn’t very sorry and super annoyed that she had to stay later to try and fix them. (Not that anyone deserves that lack of empathy, but great way to treat someone who is 8 months pregnant ) .. She couldn’t properly fix them either. They did give me a small discount but with their bad attitudes and lack of responsibility to take ownership of the situation it was pointless trying to argue the price down more. I ended up making an appointment the next day to get them fixed at another salon who said they were the most horrendous job they had seen in a long time and spent 40 minutes just refiling and reshaping what had been done to make them more natural looking, let me add they did an amazing job fixing them. I had been going to raindrop since they opened and I typically always went for pedicures nothing else but after that experience I will never go to raindrop again. If you want a quick manicure this is the place to go. However, quick = not great. It looks fine, but I felt rushed the whole time and am not impressed with the over all quality of the work. Some of my nails were not completely covered with polish, and you can see where the lacquer doesn't entirely cover the polish. It was my first time there and I won't be going back. Read Less

I give up.  I have been coming to this salon since it opened and I'm sad to say that the service has deteriorated to the point I will not return.  I arrived a little early for my appointment and was kept waiting even though there was staff available.  I asked for a plain manicure and pedicure, my attendant seemed a little put off by that.  She apparently needed more training as several times I flinched as she did trimming, I still have some pain after 24 hours.  I had asked for a no polish manicure with buffed nails, she unevenly trimmed my nails and never buffed them.  On my pedicure she left me sitting in the chair, when I asked if my nails were dry she said sure, sure and walked away, she gave me no assistance in removing the separators nor with my sandals.  When I got home I looked down a couple of my nails were completely smeared.  During the whole treatment she and the other manicurists spent the time talking and laughing loudly and ignoring their customers.  When I got home I had to reshape my nails, buff them and redo my toenail color.  I have watched the service level here drop in the last two years and this will be my last visit.  I only gave it two stars as it was still fairly clean. This is the second time getting a pedicure here and I love it! Everyone is so nice and welcoming. I can choose from a spa pedicure or if I'm on a budget I can get a classic one, which is what I got today. My feet are happy and so am I. I will be coming back again. Read Less

went in for a pedicure today and the service was terrible. the lady rushed through my whole entire pedicure. i even added sugar scrub for $7 which was put on my legs and then immediately rinsed off. I got done approximately 15 minutes before my friend who got the same exact package. my nails looked messy and I still had polish on my skin and parts of my nails were not painted. I never complain but they didn't look very good. when I asked if they could be fixed she acted as if they looked fine and I had to point out why they didn't look ok. she then "fixed" them by painting over it instead of redoing the two nails that were the worst. i have had a few minor problems here before but after today I will not be going back. very disappointed. Told the owner that I was unhappy with my last pedi, and she proceeded to blame me "its not the person doing the pedi, its the person getting the pedi". Blaming the client for poor service is uncalled for and unprofessional. I have seen many reviews about the man that is rude to customers and rushes through pedi, doing shoddy work. This is the only place I have found in Cheyenne that does NOT file the surface of your nails into oblivion. I made the mistake of trying a couple other places because I was in a hurry. Now I am dealing with very weak nails that keep breaking, due to them being filed down on the surface. I definitely learned my lesson. Read Less

I really enjoyed my visit at Raindrop! I have been all over Cheyenne to get my nails done but have been greatly disappointed after a few appointments. Raindrop does not over book appointments so they are not in a rush to send you out the door. I received a pedi that made me drool and fall asleep (which is great because I have sensitive feet) and I got a mani that ended up looking better than the photo I came in with! Make an appointment, be willing to spend a few hours for them to pamper you and do your nails the way you want them, and be prepared to spend a little more money; you get what you pay for! I made an appointment for my friend and I and so we could have a fun day . They took my friend right away and then took 2 other walk ins ahead of me. I had to wait for almost an hour before they finally did my nails and then my friend had to wait for me to get done . I will not go back. Very poor service and very disrespectful of my time. I like this place- the owner Tracy is always very nice and accommodating. If you are lucky enough to get her or Kim to do your nails they will look amazing. At times when I have had to have others do my nails I have not been as happy--especially the younger guy. He is in too big of a hurry and is rude. They seem to have a rotating staff so as a regular it would be nice to have the same person every time. Decided to get my nails done for my birthday along with a pedi.... they looked nice so I figured they'd do a good job... my mistake. The tech that was doing my nails did a horrible job! I told him several times my middle nail was extremely crooked. I'm not talking about being barely visible... / it did that. After telling him multiple times he still did nothing. Finally after being pissed (and apparently looking it too) a different tech asked me what was wrong. I told him h...e told the tech that was doing my nails.. then the tech that was doing my nails got an attitude. On top of that I told them clear and white acrylic. They did not do clear and I have no idea what they used. Because it felt like a lighter was stuck to my nails when I put them under the UV lamp. Love this place. Great service. Clean salon. Friendly staff. And the polish actually last for more than a week. I've found my go to spot in Cheyenne. It only took about 5 tries. I should also note that they use a lot of natural products so the air doesn't smell like toxic fumes. Read Less

I had a great experience with this place until I was overcharged the other day. I wasn't sure if the gentleman was trying to upsell and that's why I was charged more. But they do a great job with Shellac. I just don't like how they remove it by scraping your nails instead of soaking them. Read Less

Love this place, I really love Zoya nail polish and this is the first salon that I have been to that features it. An upscale, very CLEAN, reasonably prices salon.They don't do artificial, often. When I expressed interest in a gel overlay, the man looked annoyed and said “it’s $50 - very expensive”. I told him I don’t mind and still wanted it. Bad choice; my gel came out uneven and with rough spots. My friend had the basket thrown at her as well and chose a simple shellac polish. To top it off, we were extremely overcharged and didn’t catch it until later, as we were talking at checkout. A gel overlay and pedicure was supposedly $78, and the total bill was $169. Having lived in downtown Chicago and the suburbs my whole life until 3 years ago, and living in Denver since, I have been to many nail salons that have been fantastic and done a great job. Some higher priced than others and many of which didn't warrant the higher price. I am now living between Cheyenne and Denver and had to find places here to go to.Much to my surprise, I found raindrop on google, and it is not only reasonably priced, but they do a better job than ANY salon I have been to, particularly one of the girls named Crystal. I would recommend this nail salon to anyone. I won't even go to my places in Denver anymore and make it a point to wait until I am back up here to get my nails done. Check them out!! Read Less
