By far worst experience I had! Left there with sticky nails and an hour later the nail polish was all crinkley the nail tech left arclic all over my skin. Day later couple nails broke off. I tried to contact the owner and get my money back. She told me no because she had to see it I ended up taking all my nails off and going somewhere else. Do not recommend this place at all!!!!!! Went there today to get gel acrylics. I walked in and all the lady said was, "What do you want?" Not even a simple hello. Then, the nail tech barely said one word to me. She had one ear bud in, so I think she was listening to music and she answered a call while doing my nails. I would ask her a question or say something to her and she did not say anything back. She touched my hand to "tell" me when to put it in the gel machine. Horrible and rude customer service. Please get workers that are polite and actually talk to you. Read Less

The only saving grace for this place is the desk person, she does the running for pedicures etc. She is friendly and speaks to the customers. The girl who did my pedicure didn't once speak to me. Only touches my leg when she wanted me to move the leg/foot. I will never be back. The renovated their business but the business went downhill BIG TIME. Called in advance for four services on Saturday, upon arrival, asked if we could change two pedicures into manicures, and add a foot massage. Worst experience at modern nails. I walked in and stood there for a few seconds, waiting for the lady to come over. From across the room, "what do you want?" I asked for a gift certificate. After a few minutes of standing there, she finally came over and asked me how much. I told her. She never once made eye contact with me. She was on her phone texting. Read the text, replied, waited for a response and then she replied again. Not paying attention to her customers at all. When she was done texting, she said okay and ripped my debit card out of my hand and made me drop my keys!! I stood there stunned. Disappointed with this nail salon. Made an appointment for 5 people for a wedding party. Took other people before all of us. Took a long time to get everything done. Pedicure was average. Lady seemed rushed, probably since there was a few people waiting in the lobby. I don't live around here but if I did I probably wouldn't go back. If I could rate a 0 I would. Paid for a pedicure and basically got my toenails painted. Had reservation for big group 2 weeks ahead of time yet they weren't prepared and didn't even greet us until 15 mins later. Very rude as well. Will not return. Waste of money. My girl friend and I went Friday night for pedicures. We had a great experience! The staff was friendly and efficient. They did a wonderful job and the massage chairs were relaxing. We had to stay past closing time to allow the polish to dry, but the Ladies were very nice and pleasant. Read Less

I had a beautiful women named Q do my nails yesterday and she did an amazing job. Not only was she great at what she did, she was sweet and funny and really kind and I absolutely loved her. I love Modern Nails! I've been going there since I had my son 5 years ago and they always remember me and my son even if I haven't been there in 6 months! The owners take such good care of me- always. If I smudge a nail when I leave they'll always fix it the next day for free. Read Less

We were initially told it would be a 30 minute wait for a simple pedicure for 3 people which we thought was reasonable. After waiting an hour and a half one of our names was called. Meanwhile every other customer that walked through the door was offered drinks and other things while they were waiting and we were not. The woman rushed, and missed a few important steps like pushing the cuticle back and the length of my nails were very uneven. I've tried this salon twice for pedicures (twice because I insisted on giving them another chance after my first disappointment) and I can't say that I'll ever go back. During my first visit, I got the impression that having walk in was a huge inconvenience for the staff.  I asked for a french pedicure but was told I'd have to do a solid color.  Only after I took the polish off 2 weeks later did I realize that they did not put a base coat on before the polish and my nails were yellow.My second visit was a bit better only because when I asked for a french pedicure, I was able to get a french pedicure.  The next day the polish started peeling from the sides and chipping off - seems this time there was no top coat put on my nails.The prices charged for the services received were just not in line with my expectations.  For the money spent, you're better off going elsewhere.
