I was here the other day for a pedicure. I waited 45 min to even get in a chair and another 30 min to get started on the pedicure. Its 2 days later and the polish is coming off and they didnt complete the pedicure. What did i pay for?? If thats the case i could have painted my own toe nails for free. Had a manicure, was the first appointment of the day and instruments did not appear clean. They were pulled from the drawer, no packaging, and didn't look like they had been sterilized. I still have old polish on my nails and will have to finish my own cuticles when I get home. It was cheap, but all that was done right was filing my nails. I'm not exactly sure how to rate this place. It's in a strip mall and was very busy. The actual interior leaves a lot to be desired. The carpet is dirty and worn out. Very strong chemical smells (poor ventilation). Chairs were stained and worn out. Staff members barely spoke English so it was hard to understand what they were saying. Here's how it went:I called Wednesday and made an appointment for two manicures Friday at 1pm. Appointment was confirmed by salon. We showed up Friday at 1245. We sat for almost an hour before my friend got her nails worked on. I just continued to sit there. Then, another station opened up but they took someone else who arrived way after us. Basically I sat there waiting for my friend to finish and the same person did my nails. While my nails were being done, two other people complained they had a 1pm appointment and by 2pm they both left, nails not done. Best manicure I have had in years, hands down. For $12+tip it was a bargain. The bad part, space was dirty and worn out and they had zero respect for customers' time. NOVEMBER: When researching places to get my nails repaired after a BAD experience somewhere else, I came across this place and I'm so thankful. The nail tech that I worked with was named "Johnson" and he was very kind. When explaining what I wanted for my nails, he actually listened (and didn't talk over me or suggest things that I didnt want unlike other locations). He took his time, was very gentle, and did neat work. For acrylic removal, overlay acrylic, and gel polish my total was $42 with their "cash pay discount." All in all, I'll be returning and hope that my next experience is just as pleasant. DECEMBER: After three weeks I came back for a fill and a nail replacement. The nails held up very nicely and I could have gone longer without a fill but I accidentally chipped one of my nails. I asked for Johnson again; he was great just like before! He was very patient, took his time, receptive to my requests, and my nails turned out fabulous! A fill, nail replacement, reshape, and gel polish cost $29.00. Read Less

I love this place. (I went to Goddess Nails and they wouldn’t take me because they had a 10 min late policy. ) So i went to Nails 2000, and they were so friendly with me and other customers. They only charge $25 for a full set. I think my tech’s name was Susanne, and she did the best set I’ve ever gotten. I highly recommend going here. Read Less

I unexpectedly had a couple hours to kill at lunchtime so I stopped in for a pedicure.  There were a handful of other customers getting services but I was seated right away to get started.  The place is a little worn and dated, so I was a bit worried about how the experience would be, but I am very happy with everything.  There are 4 employees (maybe a family? - an older man and woman and a younger man and woman) and they were all very friendly.  I opted for the deluxe pedicure and they really did an amazing job removing the rough patches, and the massage felt wonderful.  The paint job is perfect and I got a couple of compliments for how good my pedicure looks.  Best $35 I've spent in a long time.  I will definitely be going back! I used to come all the time and stopped because of how poorly my gel nails were done. Came back to give another chance (shellac only) and almost walked out before we started with polish. 2 of my cuticle beds were bleeding from how she was tearing at them (mind you I get manicures semi frequently so they aren't bad.) I have been getting my nails done here since I was 10 years old. My entire family goes there too. Such a great, hardworking family than runs this establishment. I've been going here weekly for a few months now and I love the people. they get slammed in the early afternoon and you can end up waiting an hour to an hour and a half. so that's the only down side, I think if more people would call ahead for their pedicures if would help them because they always have to spend so much time on that and people who just want a simple fill or manicure end up waiting too long. I had an appointment for 5:30, they seated me at 5:28 and left me sitting with my feet soaking for twenty minutes. Twenty minutes just to have your feet soaked? The paint job on my toes and fingers is horrible. And the massage they stated that came with a deluxe pedicure never happened. I have a place I go too regularly but was in the mood for a Yelp outting and chose Nails 2000 based off of ALL the positive reviews. To my surprise walking in it was completely empty and quite dirty feeling. Old plastic dusty plants hanging over mirrors and no recent updates. But before I could walk out I was seated right away and asked for a normal while tip acrylic fill. Shortly after getting started two more customers walked in and that's where it went downhill on my nails... The guy rushed thru cutting my cuticles a couple of times and sloping on polish and throwing a fan on me. He failed to notice the placement of the white tips and the brush hairs left behind under acrylic. I asked a couple of times to fix the shaping of the nails (square and not rounded) and he ignored my request. I ended up filing my own nails at home afterwards. And now to get them filled I will more than likely have to completely soak them off and start over. I still paid the asked price as well as a generous tip because that's the person I am but I will NOT be returning!! Read Less

Came for a pedicure as I had been neglecting my feet. They paid a lot of attention to detail and made sure my toenails were back in order. Got the deluxe pedicure $35 compared to $25 and loved it. My feet really benefited from the extra exfoliation. Read Less

I've been getting my nails done for a little over 15 years and it wasn't until about 3 years ago when I found Nails 2000, in West Allis, that I was absolutely satisfied. EVERY single time I leave their salon I LOVE my nails. Sue Ann can do ANY design that I ask her to do and she makes sure that I like it every step of the way!! Not only that, they have great customer service, their facility is well-kept, clean, and organized, and best of all, their prices are amazing for the fantastic work they do!! When I first came here I had a wonderful experience with a younger lady. She was gentle and very kind. She did everything I asked for. Then yesterday I came into their salon a second time. A young man was doing my nails. He was very rough and didn't ask me how I would prefer my tips he just started filing away. While he filed my fingers were also being filed down it was very uncomfortable. Yesterday was the worst experience I had ever had with a nail salon. Probably won't go back...all the techs seemed like they were in a hurry for everything. Too much pressure to hurry and chose a color/design. I got shellac polish on 4 nail beds and on my finger...irritating! Went in for a fill and looks like I still need one on my thumb...again if they were not in a rush I don't think these things would have happened...they were a bit rude as well. Seriously, I am en eyebrow FREAK, and this is the ONLY place I will let touch my eyebrows after other places have messed them up. I drive all the way from Brady street just to have them hook me up. This place is great.The prices are fantastic, and there are 2 of the most hard-working ladies I have ever seen. They ALWAYS remember me, ask how my kids are, and don't complain one bit about my feet (in spite of the fact that it could have been 6 months since my last visit). I always feel obligated to tip them well because they're so friendly and just plain sweet...and I notice they are sweet to everyone that comes in. They can get pretty busy but I've never made an appointment and never had to wait too long. I've walked in 5 minutes before close, and was going to turn around (I didn't realize what time they closed and wouldn't have gone in if I had known it was so close to closing time because that's just rude) but they absolutely insisted I stay, and they were sincere about it.
