I had been a faithful customer for 2 straight years with no major complaints UNTIL I came in for a scheduled appointment, at 5 pm and waited 30 mins, and when the normal nail tech who does my nails (whom is the owner) when he was free he took a person of another race who had a 5:30 pm appt. immediately and helped her , stating another nail tech can help me (whom was busy) when she is free. I felt very embarrassed and hurt from this action as I clearly felt I've earned the right to be treated fairly as I've been coming there for 2 years and I was there first. Read Less

At the recommendation of a coworker, I went to Tosa NailSpa. Kevin did my shellac nails on my first visit. It was okay. On my second visit, one of the other nail techs did my nails; the outcome was better than the first visit. Third visit, I had the same nail tech as the second visit, and was satisfied. On the fourth visit, Different staff. The person who had done my nails/lashes on the first three visits was not there. I inquired and was told she was no longer there. I ended up with a new nail tech who had been there 1 week, which was fine. I needed 2 nails replaced at this visit because they had recently broke. I asked how much it would cost and Kevin quoted me a price of $10.00 for 2 nail repairs. WHAT! I could get a whole set for $30.00. I did not see the price of an individual nail repair price listed on his display. Needless to say, I won't be returning to TOSA Nails & Spa. I looked at the reviews prior to going to this establishment and saw 1-2 disappointed customers, but decided to given them a chance anyway and wanted to judge them for myself.. Went here 3x about a year ago for mani/pedis; pedicure was very good; I chose a regular manicure over a shellac, and all 3x, the lady doing my nails seemed to be in a timed race against a stopwatch (nice that they're efficient but it was not a relaxing pampering experience) and the nail polish was so thick that even an hour later it had not fully dried and I was dinging it up. Perhaps the shellac would have been a better experience? Can anyone else offer a comparison for me? Read Less

It took me YEARS to find a good nail shop. This is one of Milwaukees best nail salons in the city. There is sometimes a long Waite but that's avoidable if you make an appointment. The owner is easy to get along with and KNOWS NAILS very well. I will never go any where else! Prices are very good! Read Less

Arrived 15 mins early before my 3:00pm appointment. Was seated a few minutes after my scheduled time, so that's good. Was directed towards the spa seat. Guess I'm getting my pedi first! Water is warm. Some sort of blue powder was added to the water. Jets are on which is nice. Television is on playing "What Women Want". Busy day, some customers had to be put on a wait list of an hour or more. Forgot about the massage chair! Turned that sucker on to rub out the knots. It is now 3:30. The water is luke warm at best. Feet are getting prunny. 3:33pm I get a technician! Was handed a nail pallet of colors to choose from. Received the works! Even used a "cheese grater to exfoliate my feet! Cuticles trimmed and feet scrubbed. Glad my feet soaked for so long. They needed that foot scrub BAD!!!! Technician took time to scrub each toe too!! Did not feel rushed. Could tell he examined what needed to get done. They were squeeky clean!!!!The lotion used smelled nice and the massage was gentle but good! A really nice hot towl was pressed against my legs and feet and they were rubbed through the towl!! Lotion wiped off, now onto nails!!!Sandals placed backon before the nail polish applied. Interesting! 4:00pm moved on to the mani station! Fan is underneath the table to quickly dry nails.I received a gel mani. Technician was quick, accurate, and polite. In total the bill came out to be $67! This does not include the $7 tip I gave to each technician. All in all, it was a pleasant experience. Just a bit too pricey for my taste. Read Less
