With all the hype I expected more from this place. My nails looked average, nothing extraordinary about the service at all. The first time I came in, I didn't have an appointment. The staff member actually raised her voice and hollered at me for trying to come in without one. I made an appointment for the next visit and came back in a few more times for a fill. Nothing spectacular and the staff converses with each other in their language making guests wonder if they are being discussed? Very pleasantly surprised with the level of service.  My nails look great after my manicure and pedicure. And I got the deluxe pedicure. And it was the best I'd ever had. I've paid twice as much at Neroli for their pedicures and let's say I wouldn't waste my money there any longer. Highly recommend this place. Prices are great and they do run a tight ship here and move everyone along in a timely fashion (though I never felt rushed during my pedicure which lasted at least one hour). Convenient location. Good prices. Not always clean. While getting a pedicure, they took the scrubber, dipped it into the body scrub formula and rubbed it on my feet. Then they proceeded to take that same dirty scrubber that was used on my foot and put it back in the body scrub formula. Yuck. I wonder how much fungus and bacteria is growing in their body scrub. I've never seen them use clean tools. Last manicure I got there, dude was too busy texting on his phone to paint my nails well. I could have painted my nails better if I were blind. He would not let me pay ahead of time so that was not cool either. There's nothing worse than having a manicure done and reaching into your wallet and messing up your nails. Would not recommend. In the process of getting a pedicure.  I was a walk in and they took me right away. My tech was nice and is doing a great job. Some observations: some kid (assume it was the owner's) was loudly playing scales on his violin in the back room. When he started playing, he was so bad I thought it was the nearby train whistle. The owner was yelling at one of his other techs about some appointment or some product mix up, leaving a customer to sit and wait for quite a while.  The salon is clean and their regular pedi includes hot towels!  Other than the owner needing a crash course in customer service and ambiance, and listening to a child who is a long way from being YoYoMa, it was ok. For the longest time, I've been a little jealous of my friends who have fabulous nails so I finally took the plunge and got a shellac manicure. I picked this place because it was close to home and because Kelly R liked it, and her nails are always fabulous. I didn't make an appointment but was taken care of right away on a Wednesday afternoon. The space is pretty big, with 8 or 10 manicure stations and at least 6 big pedi chairs. Everything seemed clean to me, but keep in mind this is my first go-round. I didn't see any signs of autoclaving tools, but everything was soaking in disinfectant. The station I was at seemed clean as well.My manicure took about 30 minutes or so and included a short hand massage and hot towel at the end which was a nice touch. There was a huge, huge selection of colors to choose from (almost too many for someone basic like me!) - I picked a pinky-mauve color and it came out a little more purple-y than it appeared on the sample but I like it all the same. In terms of the quality of work, I felt like my technician really did a good job on details - no messy edges, perfect cuticles, etc. It's not a fancy place but I think the prices are reasonable. They told me this mani should last a few weeks so we'll see if it does, and if so - I'll be back! Read Less

Horrible!!! First they rushed me to pick my color and saying that I need to sit in the seat and get started and that I can pick my color later.  So we get started and she never asked me what I wanted done. She assumed I was getting my friend was getting done(shellac) So she started with a manicure but I wanted acrylics. I thought they were just cleaning up my nails before they start. Once I addressed what I really wanted, I showed her the style I liked. She cut them too short and i said something and she said no It will look fine. Then she started clipping more and that's when I stated they were really too short. She said it would cost more to make them longer. Which I knew was BS. I said I didn't care and I want them longer she said no this is what they look like in the picture you showed me. I told her that I usually get them longer and how iv never had them this short. She insisted on being right. This was my first time here considering my other nail place (Nail Design, in Wauwatosa) was closing soon for the day. And this place was open longer. I'm the end I told her to take them off and I will be going to my regular nail place to get them done the right way. Very disappointed at how rude she was and how she wasn't really willing to work with me to change them. One other worker there said she must be too tired. That was not the excuse I was looking for. what a delightful neighborhood find!I walked in without an appointment on a tuesday night. I suspect it was busier than usual for a tuesday night, as it was thanksgiving week. Despite the rush, I had to wait ten minutes, as I was getting both a manicure and a pedicure. the pedicure was well done and very comfortable. the manicure was not as pristine as I would have preferred. the nail polish strokes were a bit messy and the edges were rough. for the holiday spirit, I added a touch of glitter to the tips. This was an additional $3, a steep markup, but definitely worth it. the girl completing my manicure definitely worked with me and my vision. the prices are very competitive. I paid $40 for a manicure and pedicure. I also got a frequent visitor card, where one receives a stamp for every $10 spent. When one spends $100, one gets $10 off. This is a nice bonus, as one can quickly spend this amount after just a few visits.I will definitely be back for my future nail needs. Given how competitive this place is, I would recommend avoiding the after-work rush, particularly during the holidays. Read Less

I live nearby and run, drive, and walk past the salon regularly. I haven't had my nails done in years due to my person moving away and I'm very particular & loyal about who I go to for services.  Once I find someone I like and trust then I don't go anywhere else.  I decided to try this place out and am so glad that I did!I walked in and there were a couple women getting pedicures as well as another 2 getting manicures.  I was immediately greeted by a woman (Sandy) who asked how she could help me.  She asked me to sit and we got started.I went in for a full set of gel nails.  Sandy was fantastic!  She did an excellent job.  She was efficient with great attention to detail.  I am very happy with my results and will be back. I have not used this place yet.  Am going today.  I hope they are as good as the reviews say.  I called for an appointment.  It was a Asian woman who answered the phone.  I kept thinking.  I hope not like the place at Southridge mall.  That had all  these Asians working. The place was dirty.  No I don't have a problem with Asian people. Just when the woman answered the phone. I kept thinking the dirty place at the mall.  I can't afford pedicures to often.  But have great difficulties clipping my own toe nails.  I am going to get what I attempted to do. Finished and done right.   I'll give a proper review after I got my service done.  So give 3 stars for now.I went there.  Yes all Asians working.  But they were nice.  A guy did my pedicure. His English wasn't so good. But he did a very nice job. Took time with me.  Not rushed.  I got a foot and leg massage included.   I will be going back.  They give you a card you can fill up.  When full. You get 10$ off your next service.  I last time went to Salon Dovini  7032 W Greenfield West Allis.  The girl was rude.  She said why did I wait so long to get my pedicure?  Well my toe nails were looking very long.  I said.  I can't afford pedicures that often.  She rushed through my service.  Then they tried selling me other services I did not want that day.  Won't go back to there.  I'll return to Tip to Toe. My friend and I stopped in here after we discovered our usual pedicure spot is closed on Sundays. Tip to Toe was perfect!!! The salon was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The pedicure chairs were nicer than several other places I have been to. Prices are similar to what other nail salons charge in the Milwaukee/Tosa area but I feel like the regular pedicure ($28) was much better. My pedicurist really took his time and did a fantastic job on my feet and nails.I opted for some fun nail art (see my picture!) and it was an additional $5. I LOVED it! My polish is still looking great, even after 6 weeks.They had a fun Pandora music channel playing during my visit, which definitely catered more toward the younger and/or Top 40 music-loving crowd. The salon got very busy after 12:30ish on this particular Sunday, so I recommend coming early if you do not have an appointment.They offer a rewards card where you get punches for every $10 spent and once you reach 10 punches you get $10 off a service. I really enjoyed my visit here. I'm new to the neighborhood, so walked in not knowing ANYTHING about the place. I was pleasantly surprised when I came in - the space is bright and clean and very well-kept. Price for a pedi was $28, which is pretty standard, but I felt like my "regular" pedi was a real treat (she even used some hot towels for me!). I got in right away, which is always a bonus. Brand new nail salon in Wauwatosa, I stopped in last night for a walk-in pedicure. The staff was kind and friendly, the place is decorated nicely, and although I would expect nothing less of a new location, it was very clean. Prices are on par with what I'm used to, as are the pedicure chairs. As far as the pedicure itself goes, I got the basic (not deluxe) and it was the best I've had. She took great care to make sure that even though my nails grow a little funny (they're more like fingernails than toenails) they got perfectly shaped, cleaned, and polished.
