Next time I should check the reviews on goggle.I was late 10 min. and the guy who took care of me was very upset for that reason. He told me because I was late he couldn’t make my manicure.He was already doing my pedicure wich I didn’t enjoy.How would you feel about a rude person touching your feet?. This was my first time going to this salon because I just happened to be in the area. I didn't have an appointment, and I guess that was my first mistake even though walk-ins were clearly accepted. When I walked in, there were 4 or 5 men standing there just gawking. No one asked what I needed, just looked at me. When I asked if I could have a pedicure, they asked if I had an appointment. Upon telling them that I didn't have an appointment, I received rolled eyes and attitudes from the men at the counter. Once I was in the chair, the water was barely warm and it stayed that way against me saying it was a bit cold. The way they have you select nail color is a bit off too; they pass around a basket and you look through the selection, hoping they don't fall off your lap into the water. The pedicure itself was quick, the man who did mine barely scraped the bottoms of my feet (which I later realized at home when I still had rough feet!). The price wasn't bad, but I suppose you definitely get what you pay for! Either way, if I am paying for a service I expect not to feel rushed and my service not actually rushed through. This is the kind of place that makes you feel like you're getting a great product only because they must know they're giving you an inferior product. For one, their color selection process is ridiculous, plopping a basket of dozens of plastic nails haphazardly thrown in and tangled together making it very difficult if you know what color you're looking for and now need to find it like a needle in a haystack. Secondly, while they wrap your feet and massage your legs and hands, the bottom line is that the manicure itself (a GEL manicure) lasted less than a full week. My pedicure also showed noticeable signs of wear after only 3 or 4 days, and I hadn't done anything out of the ordinary. Lastly, I had concerns about their tools and sanitary practice- their hot wax dip for hands is a communal pot that guests are asked to just walk over to and use, which seems extremely unhygienic and I am almost certain I had a tool reused on me after watching my manicurist reach across to the table next to us to grab it. Overall while their prices are 'reasonable' it's still a lot to pay if the manicure, advertised to last 2-3 weeks, isn't going to last even a week.-- same goes for the pedicure. We had a walk-in appointment on a Friday for my sister and I. It was very obvious that we were just another customer in the queue and were rushed through our shellac manicures. My thumb nail had several ripples and the technician told me "We will just put another coat on". I questioned how that would fix it and she started filing so roughly to remove the polish that she cut my finger. My sister had to go back the next day for two chipped nails and I had rippling occur on t...he same thumb. The technician blamed my sister, asking what she did to chip the nails. Today (Wednesday- 5 days later) my shellac cracked off my nail and is peeling around the edges of several others. I would not recommend coming here. Took 2.5 hours for a french mani and pedi only to return with a chipped nail an hour later. I did not break it, i was at dinner. It's been a hit or miss. Highly recommend the dip powdered nails. This is my first time doing it and I definitely recommend it over shellac. I love going to Blush and have never had a bad experience (I have been going for years). If you pay cash you get a punch card. I have been going here for awhile and each time it gets worse. I went with my daughter on Saturday for a mani and pedi. It started off with every color I chose I was told they couldn't do that color. I didn't have an appointment and they got me right in for a pedicure which was nice. It was a pretty perfunctory pedicure, but I didn't want chit chat so that was okay. Not a lot of time spent on any one thing, and my nails aren't straight, just half @$$. But it went really wrong at the polish, of all things. The polish wouldn't dry. It was WET after half an hour. Tech took polish off, poorly, one foot. Didn't base cost, just slapped some on. Top coat a minute later. Ten minutes later, a different tech "checked" them, smearing the tacky polish and pronounced them done. I left, went home, and will correct myself. Never again. Read Less

Worst salon ever... dirty floors, and clutter everywhere, and poor customer service skills. I have a pedi once a month to feel good... she took two passes on my heel with the scrub brush and said to put my foot back in the water... had to ask for a better scrub than that to smooth heels. My experience was terrible. I went in with my sister at 1 p.m. asking the lady if we could get the shellac manicure and she said that they were busy at the moment and told me to come back at 4 p.m. I went back at 4 and the guy at the front asked me very rudely what I needed done. And I told him we wanted to get a shellac manicure done. And he told me that we couldn't get our nails done because we didn't make an appointment. (Reminding you that the lady from earlier told us we could come back at 4 and saying nothing about making an appointment) The guy told me that we could come back at 5 but at that point I was so upset because they were so rude to me so I had walked out. Worst customer service EVER! Booked ahead of time and then when we got there they didn't have any record of us booking an appointment which was fine. Then the manager/ owner from across the room shouts out "Are you sure you called the right location?" 60 eyes looking at us...it was so embarrassing. So I looked at my call history and said is this your number because I talked to someone from this number. It took 3 people trying to figure out what happened. They finally gave us ...service but I was not impressed. ..my feet soak was in cold water and my friends water was too hot. They are rude and I feel that they talk about their customers. I know they were talking about us because the employees doing our pedi would talk and then both glance at us. They do not clean their foot tubs...they do a quick rinse and on to the next customer. I don't understand all the negative reviews. I've been going here for three years now, every two to three weeks and have never had anything but a wonderful experience. For two months, I left to try the nail lady at my hair salon just for convenience and I went back to Blush. Ray, Linda, Lisa, Philly and all the others have been nothing but kind and accommodating to me. Sometimes I have an appointment, and sometimes I just walk in and they always take care of me immediately and don't make me feel like an inconvenience. I will say, with all the many hours I've been there, I've watched them get treated very badly by many of the patrons. It makes me sad to see people be so demanding and mean. Terrible. Will never go back. Staff was seriously rude. There were little signs all over that were ridiculous and in poor taste such as "If you break a nail polish bottle you will be charged $10" and "Regular manicures don't last very long and will chip, you will not be refunded." On May 27), I made an appointment for my friend and I to celebrate her birthday. We spent $150, getting both a shellac mani and shellac pedi. Even though we had made appointments a week in advance, our service was clearly rushed to fit more clients in. While I understand the need to maximize business, my friend and I have been to this location before and intended on being repeat customers because of the care and quality service we've received in the past, for example the usag...e of hot stones during the pedi. This made it very disappointing when, even though we scheduled time to come in, they were trying to just get us out the door. To the extent that (for both of us) they did not even cure our nails for the full time after each coat (they did maybe 20-30 seconds). My friend's hand is already shipping after just a week. In addition, the hot stones were literally just rubbed up and down our legs once. Further, after missing some of my cuticle, my nail tech took her fingers and proceeded to just try and rip the skin from my hand until I said "ouch." When I reached out to them about this experience, their response was to come during the week rather than a Friday or Saturday to "enjoy the service." The paraffin was still hot and liquid when she pulled the bag off my feet. The whole pedicure lasted 20 min. As we waited for our nail polish to dry, my mom answered her phone. I've been coming here for awhile for gel manicures, which were normally very good. The last time I went, I just wanted my gels soaked off to give my nails a break, I got a pedicure instead of my usual gel mani. They seemed upset that I was just getting a soak off instead of a new mani and cut my soak time in half, rushed through the process, and he was so rough and used so much force to get the gel off my nails that they CRACKED THE NAIL PLATE on my thumb and middle finger. And I still have traces of gel on my nails. I asked Than about it, who was doing the soak off and he said it was fine. Not fine.  Not good ladies. My nails are generally fine after gels, a little soft, but fine. This time I have broken nail beds and separation from the beds at the tips. Not happy at all. Read Less

Disappointed my first time here. I made an appointment for 4 for mani/pedis for a friend's birthday and we arrived on time. When we got there, they didn't seem to be ready for us as they only had enough chairs open for 3. So while my friends got their pedicures I sat in a chair and watched. I thought they would at least start my manicure while my friends got their pedicures but it wasn't until 15-20 min later did they start my manicure. She then shaped and prepped my fingernails only to move me into a pedicure chair and finish my manicure on my lap while she also prepped my pedi. Needless to say my manicure was an afterthought that shows considering four of my nails are already chipped 24 hours later. I'm going to try and put my own topcoat on to have my nails hopefully last 2-3 days. Pedicure was at least decent. One of my cuticles was clipped too much and I started to bleed. I'll be watching my finger in the next few days/weeks to make sure I don't end up with an infection. Overall, I agree with the other reviews. They're too busy and don't take time to do proper work. I have another salon I frequent but thought I'd give this one a try. I'll be sticking to my regular nail salon from this point on. I have 2 stars because the pedicure seemed ok. Read Less

When this salon first opened, it was great. I went there every two weeks for a fill and shellac. Unfortunately they are now SO busy that it is virtually impossible to be a walk in. They take appointments and don't even seem to write them down so when you come in at your appointment time, you still have to wait. Also the last few times I have been in, they are so rushed, they cut my finger with the dremel tool they use to take off polish, file down nails, etc. The three fingers they cut last time I have peeling skin and itchy red areas so I am pretty sure they gave me some kind of fungus on those fingers. Came here with my daughter while in the area for a soccer tournament.  Made an appointment the day before for pedicures, but still had to wait more than 20 minutes.  The staff provided poor customer service.  They also pressure you to use their ATM to pay for service in cash.  The results were OK, but I didn't feel comfortable in the salon.  Not the relaxing experience we were looking for.  If I were in the area again, I would look for another nail salon. No. Went in for a pedi. It was rushed, the next day I had a chip as well. Water was too hot even after I said something about it. I had a reservation for the pedi and that part was fine, however when i arrived I inquired about adding on a mani. They told me they would try to fit me in-fine, I understand I didn't have an appointment for that-but mid pedi, my manicurist took off my current polish and told me they had time to do my mani after the pedi. Pedi finished, then no time for my pedi. I was met with a shrug when I made a comment that they took off my current polish/manicure. Irritating and frustrating. First, every time I try to get an appointment, the person tells me they are too busy. Second, the times I have gone, the services are not of high-quality. Pedicures cut the nails so short they bleed. I have never had my nails professionally done before. I went in a few days before New Years to get fake nails and gel polish. I got a manicure and a pedicure. Pedicure  was fine but manicure wasn't the best. He didn't paint all of my nail on the sides so it looked weird. On 1/13 I went in to have the fake nails removed and to get a manicure with more gel polish. He zoomed through it and again my nails aren't fully painted, there's smudges and bumps. I tried taking the best pictures I could. So for the manicure and fake nail removal it equaled $40. With smudges and bumps. Also the polish was not put on evenly because it's darker in some spots and lighter in the other. Will not be coming back. Read Less

Poor job on my nails Every color I picked out for gel was not available So the gal picked out a sparkle pink for a French tip manicure for the end of my nails that turned out to be brown making my fingernails look dirty. I called the next day spa lady answered told me to come before 4 or after 6 pm so I took off work arrived at 315 and was told sorry to busy come back tomorrow I explained that I was told to come before 4 pm. A man got involved and said he had no time to busy cannot promise 6 would work either come back tomorrow and walked away. They are eager to have clients but not eager to solve a problem. So good luck if you visit the Sun Prairie location. Very rude with absolutely no customer service. Looks like the reviews are dependent upon your timing and personnel.I am not a pedicure person typically.  Tried one before and it was not a good experience because I don't like people touching my feet.  I was with a friend and she suggested to try again.  I did and it was really nice.I got an extended pedicure and it felt great.  I like the atmosphere....music, TV.  The person doing my pedicure did a fantastic job with the massage, the hot wax, etc.  Loved it.  I recommend to all guys to try a pedicure....no you do not have to get your toenails painted.  It was relaxing and I would go there again. I was in town for work and this was the closest nail location. After reading mixed reviews I wasn't sure if I should try this place or not. I decided to write a review because of how much I enjoyed the service. This IS NOT a luxury spa so walking into this place I wasn't expecting a luxury experience. It's your typical nail salon--which have their advantages. (1) I love places like this because they easily accommodate walk ins. I walked in at 6:15pm (45 minutes prior to close) and was seated right away. Once waking in I only wanted a spa pedi, but after seeing the 55.00 deal for gel mani/spa pedi I changed my mind(15 minutes before close). The accommodated. Matter of fact I didn't end up leaving until 8:00PM. (2) Both the foot and hand nail tech paid close attention to detail with my nails. I get a lot of cuticle and they cleaned it all. (3) The tools were in closed bags--- so it looks like they use new sanitized tools for every service. (4) They have one of the largest selections of colors. Including OPI gel which I love. (They do call OPI Gel "Shellac" but gel is not shellac. Shells bad, gel good.:) (5) I got paraffin for my hands and feet, foot scrub/massage and hot stone treatment for my feet. All for 55! The city I'm from this unheard of-- I was VERY happy about this! (6) Nails look perfect! (7) Both techs kept asking me I shape was okay, about nail length, etx. (8) The management and nail techs helped me move my chair, wallet, etc--- great service. This your typical nail salon and it gets 5 stars for being what it is. It's not a day spa, so I'm not expecting day spa environment. These places are often busy and accommodating people like me who can't keep me appointment because my life is too unpredictable to schedule any more appointments than needed. Having my bridal party here on the weekend. It is really fun and amazing! We had 10 people together and we all getting pedicure and manicure. They are really amazing and friendly. The whole process is so fun and we able to get done in 2 hours. I am really happy to get pretty nails for my wedding and they still stay on pretty good now! I love it and I will be back for sure! The staff here was incredibly rude and inconsiderate. I came here with my mom, they didn't understand that we had an appointment and made us feel super flustered when we walked in.When we sat down to get our nails done, all they asked us is what type of manicure we wanted. We both wanted pink & whites. They did not ask us one more question the entire time. (No question of what shade pink, how thick the white tip should be, what shape, length, etc.) The normal questions. The guy doing my nails was also answering the phone every thirty seconds (it seemed) and somehow trying to do my nails at the same time. The  staff also spoke to each other in a foreign language very loudly, while laughing. I know this is typical of nail salons, but I felt so uncomfortable the whole time, like they were just ridiculing customers. And finally--the doozy. The nails were terrible. They were so thick, I couldn't even pick things up using them. It was like a glob of acrylic on my fingers. Uneven, lots of bubbles, way too thick, and a pink shade that looked so bad with my skin. I hated them the second I walked out, but they rushed us out so fast without even asking how things were. I will NOT be going back here. The cleanliness here left much to be desired.  I watched the guy answering phones at the front desk dig for gold up his nose with a bare finger and then walk right back to his manicure station without washing his hands.The tools that should be one-use, throw-away items (files, etc), are reused between customers (in NY, where I'm from, this is against the law).The service itself was not bad--the man who did my pedicure was very nice, though I felt a little rushed.  I just can't give this place a nice review, I was so unimpressed.  :( Read Less

Nice modern interior and competitive prices. They were able to get me in last minute when my usual nail salon was booked. They were pretty busy and it took an hour before they started on me, but they stayed an hour after closing to finish all their clients.Great regular manicure was $20 ($15 plus $5 for removing old gel polish) and included a paraffin dip.
