Not sure why my hair stands name is here but whatever. HORRIBLE!! Been getting my nails done for years and have never experienced what happened tonight. I went in for a gel pedi and a nail dip. I was told to pick a color first and not given anything to look at aside from what’s on the wall. I went in the back a new girl they were apparently training didn’t file the top coat off of my dip nails or use enough acetone and as a result, it all dried out on top of the dip it was supposed to dissolve. Needless to say, I had to sit around for even longer to have my nails re-wrapped. By this time my pedi was finally done. They guy that did my toes was very rough and burned me with a hot towel. He didn’t bother to ask if it was too hot before putting it on. I told Kevin the owner that I wasn’t impressed with my first visit given my nail issues. I've been on the search for a new nail salon since October because the nail tech I've gone to for the last 3yrs moved out of state. I decided to try this place for a fill with gel color and pedicure with color and was instantly unsatisfied the second I walked through the door. I was immediately rushed to pick my color, rushed during the picking of my color and settled on a color I didn't really care for. I didn't have time to look for a matching polish for my toes because I was basically ushered to the back where I was seated at a pedicure station. The nail tech disappeared for 5-10min, so while I sat in the pedicure spa chair I thought to myself, this is what I was rushed for? Only for him to disappear. Once he returned he got started immediately. But I felt he rushed through it. My pedicure turned out nice. When it was time to move on to my nails, I felt it was rushed as well. The gel color I chose had been empty, so I was irritated at that. If they were out of that color, the color swatch should've been removed. The nail tech picked a "close" color, which was not at all close so I was unhappy about that. They looked decent when I left, but the next day I started seeing the nail pop up a bit, I noticed my nail was a little jagged like it wasn't filed right, one of the nails polish was thicker so it made my nail look funny for how it stood up. I paid $48 to wait 35 minutes for a SCHEDULED appointment. My pinky nails are different sizes/shapes . And I have only them done for 5 days now and my nails are already chipping and I got gel polish . Terrible. Read Less

Very disappointed been going here for years.i have been over charged last 3 times. Over charged today and wasn't able to get everything I made an appointment for. Was told it would cost more to get my wax done which I already paid for. Will NOT be back. Scheduled 2 pedis. Mine was done immediately but poorly, the person I went with sat there for 20 minutes soaking in water before getting their pedi. You guys have really gone down hill Read Less

Our appointments started 30 minutes late to start off. Then they cut my toe during the pedicure and CONTINUOUSLY kept going over it and making it hurt and bleed even when I said it hurt. Just brushed it off or pretended to ignore me. Worst pedicure I've ever had. Both people I was with said theirs was painful too. Will not suggest to anyone..... Read Less

Called and booked manicures for five people. The guy in the phone repeated back to me that it would be five people, one for removal and new set of acrylics, one for a fill, and three manicures. We show up for our scheduled time. And they say they only had one person down. We ended up waiting 45 minutes after our appointment time before one of us got helped. They didn't even give manicures, they just painted the nails. Won't be returning. Read Less

Nice nail technician.friendly staff. Great job on nails, perfectly shaped and got many compliments on them. Priced about the same as any other nail salon in town but I like the location too so I keep coming back for the same quality service. There's a door separating the pedicure area. They don't make you wait if you have an appointment like other places will. Read Less

Went to Vu Nail to get a gel manicure for a wedding. While my friend (the bride) was seated right away, I stood there awkwardly while I was ignored before the girl who was going to do my nails finally came out. Ended up being seated on the other side of the room from my friend who was also getting a manicure, which I found awkward. Other than telling me she had a cold, there was next to no communication with the person who was doing my nails. It was uncomfortable. She didn't know what I was even there for and almost gave me acrylic nails until I stopped her. She seemed irritated that I didn't understand her series of nods and glares to tell me what to do rather than using actual words to communicate.  On the plus side, the manicure has held up pretty well except for one tiny chip, but I don't think it is worth going back and paying $40 for horrible service. Not so good service, but I think it depends more on who does your nails. A man did mine (I think there is only one man working there); I got a full set of gel nails. When he was filing the sides, he cut into my skin four separate times. I told him he made me bleed, and I know there wasn't much he could do, but what bothered me is he put the file he used on me (which now has my blood particles on it) back in his pile where he will be using it on someone else. That is extremely unsanitary. Where he cut me was still bleeding the next day. I wouldn't come here due to sanitary reasons, but if you decide to come anyway, don't let the guy do it. The staff is pretty nice. But the services are sub par. I've been there many times, and spent a lot of money there. I will not be back after my last visit. Sprung for a shellac mani, a pedi, and eyebrow wax. After a couple days my no chip manicure was chipping (I did nothing different from my daily routines) also I find it ironic that they have a no food past this point sign in the back yet the staff is constantly walking around eating. This place sucks!!!  It's unsanitary and won't stand behind their work. Paid for No Chip nail, and they started to chip within 24 hours. Complained and was told that things like that happen. Made me pay for replacement of bad nail polish. With things being as slow as they are, you would think they would want to make customers happy. Won't be coming back! Read Less

I have been to this nail salon several times and every time the service has been great! The staff are professional and friendly and the services are top notch. The shop is clean and the staff use the sanitary measures to keep the customers safe. Overall fantastic service and good prices. Read Less
