Love the business concept of having lots of stations so you can just walk-in versus making an appt.  Very friendly welcome when I walked in and I was seated immediately.  My manicurist didn't speak much English, which worked for me because I'm not a big fan of small talk when getting my nails done, but she was hard to understand when we needed to talk and I ended up with super short nails due to miscommunication.  The biggest bummer though is that the manicure didn't even last a week!  The tips started cracking within days and peeling at the cuticle end started about 5 days in.  :/ Read Less

I went there on Friday with a group of 8 people for my wedding. They were very pushy when we were trying to figure out what colors we wanted. Kept telling us to sit down. During the pedicure they used a spinning tool to get my gel polish off which hurt like hell. When they did my gel manicure i asked the guy if he was able to do what the picture i showed him. He said yes. It looked no where near the photo. He had 5 other employees there trying to help him since he nor any other employee could understand me. Finally i got so fed up with trying to explain what i wanted and showing them the picture that i just sucked it up. By wednesday my nails are already chipping and missing 2 full nails of polish. When I went there and got my nails done the design was chunky and a 12 year old could do better. This was my second time there and the first time was only $35 dallors with a design which might I ad included the person holding a magnet over my nail. Now I paid $50 for one bad nails and two just bad care in general. Not going back and won't recommend it. There are signs hanging everywhere that say, "cash gratuities are appreciated". I think it's important to tip the technicians; they do a nice job and I have never been disappointed in my service, however, I also think that the customer should tip in whatever way is convenient for the customer. I have also noticed an ATM machine located in their facility, to support the request for cash tips. Very frustrated because every time I go here (to get acrylics) they mess them up. I explain to them what I want I even show them pictures of the shape and length but every time they come out looking like crap. I try telling them that I want them more rounded or that some are uneven but once they cut them wrong there's really no going back. I'm tired of spending $45 for nails I end up hating. I have given them countless chances but if the ignore my requests and don't even use a picture I give them for reference then it's not worth trying. I DO NOt recommend getting acrylics done here bc 9/10 it won't look anything like you want.Edit: might I add that my cuticles are almost always left bleeding. They are not very gentle at all. I have been here a couple of times to get my nails done. Generally I get a shellac manicure. The staff is somewhat friendly, but I feel like they do the services as quick as possible. The prices are average and the quality is ok. My shellac manicure only lasts 4-7 days before it chips or peels off , I feel like for the price you pay ($40) it should last longer. Read Less

DONT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE CRAP FROM RUDE PEOPLE!!! so I know my feet have SOME dry skin that is why I get a pedicure! During my session while she was filing the bottom of my feet, she had to show the 2 employees next to her my feet which one of them replied "eww"  Then when one as done she did not say a word to me or lift up the chair arm or tell me where she wanted me to sit to dry or turn the light on so I just paid and left. Average service - not great for the price. I got a shellac manicure and was planning on getting a pedicure too, but they wouldn't give me a deal for getting both, so I just stuck with a manicure.About 10 minutes into my manicure, a massive swarm of 10-year old girls and one disheveled mother (I'm assuming it was a birthday party) came into the salon and it was absolute chaos. I don't think they had a reservation either, as the entire staff looked very overwhelmed after they arrived. Of course, they were demanding immediate service and there wasn't enough staff to accommodate them. Getting my nails done is always something I do when I want to treat myself and relax, but it was a very loud atmosphere with these girls yelling and running around.The man doing my nails ended up rushing through the whole thing to service these young girls and my shellac coat had very visible bubbles on several nails. About 3-4 days after the manicure, the shellac started to get large cracks on several nails and chipped on one nail, which has never happened to me before (I should have taken a picture!). I used to love going to Silver Nails and always left happy.  Most of the nail techs are amazing and have a lot of experience and rarely do you have to wait.  I have been a customer for over 5 years.  In the past two years I have had several bad experiences.  At times I walk in the door and explain what I want or ask if it is possible.  The owner always says that it is and I don't think she relays on what you even want.  I have also ran in to see if there was an opening and she says "yes go sit in # 4" and you sit there forever and ever because she doesn't want you to leave.  I have had my nails ruined two times in the past year.  I was told that acrylic nails once grown out could be removed once your nails were long underneath.  Not with the way they drill the nail down to the nail bed.  I had a painful experience sitting there as one person was on each hand prying off my acrylic nails under a gen manicure without soaking them.  I was in so much pain as my nails were ripped off.  Most bad experiences I have had are with Thomas.  He seems very arrogant yet is the only person that makes my nails look like crap.  Under the French gel manicure you can see the curved lines of the layers of the acrylic that was placed on each time I had a fill.  He also spends half the time on his cell phone making the manicure take twice as long.    His pedicures take forever too because he pauses to have conversations with people or to check his cell phone.  I told myself I would never go back but always go back because of the convenience and so I just roll the dice on the quality.  As a different review said no matter what it seems that your nails end up squared.  I usually enjoy pedicures as well but at times they are a bit painful.  For gel manicures go for it, acrylic nails roll the dice, pedicures are usually good, and I know that they do eyelash extensions now which I am curious about but don't want to lose all of my eyelashes either:) Read Less

No. Nope. Their service was horrible. While I got a shellac manicure the lady that was doing my nails got up about 5 times and it took longer than an hour to get it done, which was crazy to me. When she was doing it I realized it was getting over my nail bed so I asked her to fix it cause I didn't want them to pop off right away (which they did cause she didn't fix it) in the end I paid $37 for something that lasted about 5 days.... They did a great job on my pedicure, but I was not expecting to drop almost $50 on 1 pedicure. I would want to do some more research on nail salons in the area to find out if this is the normal price range here, as I'm used to spending about $25 per pedicure in my hometown. I went in last week with my mother and sister. Service was very quick, we didn't have to wait at all - keep in mind I went early morning on a weekday, not sure how busy they get on the weekends. They had several colors to choose from in both regular and shellack.  The pedicure was great. I was very pleased with the service. They took their time and I didn't feel like my nail tech was rushing through it at all.The manicure I received was terrible. Most of these salons do great fake nail manicures, but I do not think my nail tech worked with real nails very much. My nails were uneven, very square (which I do not like), and she didn't even fix the crack in my nail. I was very disappointed.When we left we were charged $115 for three manicures and two pedicures, none of us got shellac. According to their price list this was almost 40 over what we expected to be charged. They never told us why it was so high.I enjoyed the pedicure, but would not return simply for that. I went with two friends today to get pedicures. We were promptly seated at pedicure chairs next to one another, however, my friends began receiving their pedicures about 5 to 10 minutes before me. The woman who did my pedicure seemed to be angry about having to do my nails and then proceeded to be incredibly rude the entire time. She took the nail polish that I picked and said, "This is the color that you want?!?!" in a sarcastic and rude way, I replied "Yes, why? you don't like it?" and she said, "no, I don't". I then tried to lighten the mood by saying, "I like the darker colors" and she snidely said, "Oh, you like dark colors" and snickered. Seriously, she proceeded to get more rude throughout and never looked at me or talked to me after this. It was so uncomfortable and My toe nails are crooked. I won't be going back here again. Use with caution. I have been a patron for about two years. Overall, I thought the service was usually pretty decent. However, in the past year as their business has grown the level of service has suffered with less experienced staff that are very quick to rush patrons through the service. On the Saturday before Mother's day, I made a big mistake. I arrived in the mid afternoon when it was very busy. But after about ten minutes I was sent to the pedicure station. When I placed my feet in the water, it was cold. I told the fellow, and he said "Sorry, we are out of hot water since we are so busy." Well, long story short...I should have got up and ran. We reserved our places ahead of time for my daughter, her bridal party and family. The owner did my nails and was rushed and not paying attention to what she was doing. I never had this done before so I didn't know what to expect. She did a terrible job on my daughters nails and mine, the tips were crooked and the nails uneven.
