I purchased a Visa Vanilla gift card for my daughter as a Christmas gift to be used on manicures for the two of us. When we went to pay, the owner claimed that she had never used one of these cards. I found it hard to believe because they are very common. She ran the card and said that it didn't work. I believed her and paid in cash. She did not offer a receipt, threw the cash in a drawer, and had no cash register. That should have been an indicator that her bookkeeping was not great. When we got in the car, I had my daughter call the gift card to check the balance. It was $0. The card had, in fact, worked. I just paid an additional $50 for our manicures. I went back immediately, and the owner was insistent that it hadn't worked. She refused any resolution and said that she would check with her bank on Monday since it was a Saturday and the bank was closed. I checked the balance of the card online the following day, and it showed that the full $50 had been used at Pretty Nails in Mukwonago. When I called on Monday, the owner was still insistent that she had not gotten the money and refused any resolution. I brought her a print out of the information from online, and she would not even look at it. I am disputing the purchase with Visa, but I will never return to this business, nor do I recommend them. I don't trust their practices.

Wonderful job! Very happy with the result! Very Friendly and accommodating. I had to change my appointment last minute and they still fit me in. Definitely going back!

Love her! She is super soft spoken and does an excellent detailed job. Unlike most nail salons, there is not an odor which is a plus.

I've been here a couple times. I heard there was new owners and I needed a pedicure. The sisters are so friendly and kind. The place was so clean and no longer had the strong smell of nail polish which use to make me sick. They did a wonderful job on my toes. I can't wait to get my nails done. I will most certainly be coming back!

I had been going to Pretty Nails and Spa for 5 years. I was pleasantly surprised when upon my last visit 2 weeks ago new owners have taken over! I really enjoyed the glycerin treatment before polish. My hands love this special treat. I was offered a $5 off coupon, even though I was a repeat customer! Mai offered to put a new file with my name on it, in a container in the drawer. Mai did not charge me for a fresh coat on my toes until my next pedicure! Wow! I do not expect freebies, but it sure was nice. The ladies, Mai and Cindy are warm and friendly. With the customer service I have seen so far, I expect them to have a thriving business. Welcome to the neighborhood! Rosanne

I purchased a Visa Vanilla gift card for my daughter as a Christmas gift to be used on manicures for the two of us. When we went to pay, the owner claimed that she had never used one of these cards. I found it hard to believe because they are very common. She ran the card and said that it didn't work. I believed her and paid in cash.
