I've went here 3 times now and had the same lady do my pedicure 2 of those times. I come back because I like the environment and a couple of the employees are super nice. I don't think I'll be coming back in the near future because they had me soaking for 25 minutes this last time because they were a bit busy and only have the same 5 employees. The employees are by no means rude but they do lack costumer service skills. There are usually a few toe nails that are not even whatsoever, which isn't a huge deal. It also gets a bit irritating when I have to swat flies away constantly. These things individually aren't a big deal at all but put together it makes it not worth coming here. I hope they decide to hire a few workers down the road and teach employees to talk to their clients a bit more and be more personable. Today I had one of my favourite facials. I can't believe not more clients have tried this. The effect is amazing, it has the look and feel of a face lift but not surgical, it's electric!! I was there with two others and my niece, my first pedicure. We had an appointment and waited as walk-ins were taken before us. Finally we sit in our chairs and sat for quite sometime before one lady started working on one of us...several minutes later another started with the other....and after maybe 10 minutes another woman started with me. We didn't get names, they wouldn't speak to us. We would try and talk with the women who were servicing us and they wouldn't even ackno...wledge. We weren't sure when we were supposed to tell them exactly what pedicures we wanted, and we all wanted the top of the line one....finally when we got their attention (let me remind you they were working on our feet as we were trying to get their attention) and the woman tells my friend, "oh I'm done with your pedicure....you never said what you wanted". We told her we were trying to say something but they wouldn't acknowledge us, and they didn't even ask what we wanted! We all finished at different times and didn't even want to do the pedicure we initially wanted anymore because we'd all be waiting on each other. As I went to get out of my chair, I accidentally scuffed the paint on my big toe. Instead of fixing it....they painted over it quickly...now looking worse than if I did it myself. In addition, soon as we took our shoes off when we got home....we all noticed our feet were still callused (and they barley were in the first place!) and still had flaky, dry skin. And apparently, my toe nails were already short enough as they didn't clip or file them (of which I had to when I got home). Too bad they didn't ask what pedicure we wanted, cause they would have gotten more money....guess the business isn't important. And now with the entire experience....we won't be returning....ever. I visited this business on June 28th, 2017 am so sad to say this, but I will not be coming back. Grace the lady that did my nailed was fine but when it came time to pay the bill they did not want to honor their own coupon. I received (in our weekly penny saver) a coupon --- which I will happily share. And has no expiration date on it. The owner told me he was NOT going to honor it. And that he did not give permission to the Racine Journal Times to print the coupon. And then said I made it. If I was able if my life to find the time to make a coupon I would have made it say FREE NOT 20% off. I reached out to the Racine Journal Times and they are looking into who gave them permission --- they say they are not able to run an add without someone paying for it. So that shouldn't be hard to find out. I will be call the BBB as well. I will post a live feed update so you can see and hear the same thing I see and hear. I will live feed my conversations with both the Journal Times as well as the BBB. I hope they will turn their business around before all these negative reviews end their business. Read Less

The staff at Polish are just rude. I was told a man and woman there were the 'owners'. When I had a problem, they told me they only worked there. They gave me a phone number to call with a complaint and no one ever called me back. They ignore you when you walk in and they ignore you when you walk out. If you want to be treated as though you are bothering them when you are handing them your money, this would be the place to go. Services are average at best. They have a guarantee for manicures on their website. When I had a problem within that time frame, they made me pay full price again and told me to call 'the owner'. Seriously terrible experience and I would never recommend this place to anyone. They clearly could not care less is you are happy with your service or if you come back. Go to a salon where you are appreciated as a customer. STAY AWAY from this place, there are much nicer nail salons with much nicer people and quality services. Read Less

I got my nails done on a Thursday and by Sunday all of my fingers had chips in the gel polish. Normally gel manicures last 2 weeks! I went back and was told I had to pay an additional $15 for the "fix." Three days later and all of my nails chipped again. I do not recommend this salon. I will not be going back. Very disappointed. They did a fantastic job. We made an appointment for two people for the same day 45 mins later, after lunch. They took us no problem. We got the spa manicure with shellac. They did a beautiful job on our nails and very nice spa services. They did our nails, hand and arm massage, and lotion--all for $33! It was also near Christmas so they gave each of us a beautiful gift of lotion and cuticle oil. This was a very peaceful, clean, professional and, inviting place to get your nails done. Have been there several times , first time was mediocre at best. (3) pedicures and 3 manicures, cost me about 180.00 and it was just ok. Second time went in for a no chip and got an excellent manicure and polish lasted for a month. The last two times i've had a woman who speaks very poor english and tells me her life story in poor english. That would be ok but my 60.00 pedicure and no chip take about an hour and that would be ok except in two days the no chip is coming o...ff already. Properly train everyone and teach a basic manicure and how to apply PROPERLY a no chip, was on my cuticles, the sides of my nails were missed, poor polish job in general. Too bad I can't chose a Negative!Nail clippings all over the supposed clean towels!Limited choice in polish selection, Somebody's Callous shavings around the rim of the water basin. This was my first visit and got a pedi. It was decent but my issue is when I checked out. I was charged $7 more for "callous" removal that I was never told about. I've never heard of such a thing nor was it in their brochure. It's not like she spent any extra time doing whatever the "extra" was. All in time for pedi service was 35 min not including drying time. I don't have a problem for paying for an extra service if I'm asked in advance and it really is an extra service. I have just moved into this area and was looking for a new salon to frequent. I walked into Polish at 9:45 (they open at 9:00) on a Wednesday and it was empty. They took me right away, were polite and friendly. They lady that did my nails was very detailed and they came out great. There is a good selection of nail colors and quite a few colors to choose from when it comes to the gel polish. The salon was very clean and was modern in decor (they even have a smart toilet..lol)I spent $75 (including tip) for a french pedi, gel nails, and an eyebrow wax-good deal since I moved from Chicago! My first visit with Polish Nail Salon was on February 19, 2015 which was mediocre at best when it came to Customer Service. As I was being serviced the employee "Singh" totally ignored me but kept trying to make conversation with the customer sitting next to me - whom was uninterested in talking to him. However, he did a decent enough job but argued with me because I didn't tell him I wanted color (polish) even though I kept advising him that I didn't understand his [bad] Eng...lish. I would also like to note that a few days later the tips of my nails began to separate from the faux tips causing dirt to be trapped. On March 5th, 2015 I visited again for a fill and the gentleman (name unknown) did a nice job & I tipped him, however 3 days later the 2 tips broke. I went to the shop & explained the situation and a lady (name unknown) asked me to sit down and began the repairs. She kept making me go back to the polish station to find the exact match of polish that was used originally! When we decided on a match she then advised me I would have to pay again. I advised her I shouldn't have to pay since I was just 3 days prior in the shop for a fill. All of a sudden the same gentleman who did the fill enters the conversation and starts yelling he's not going to argue with me & "you guys" should look at the policy before you get services. I advised him the lady never told me I would have to pay again before I sat down. He said he didn't care he was not going to argue with me. Then he spoke in their native language to the lady servicing me and when I turned around she had clipped off the nails which she had repaired. She then threw on some polish (which looked like a kindergartner scribbling and I was asked to leave the store. I asked for the owner's name and I was only told "Lenny" & they refused a last name. I really like this place. Owners and staff are very friendly, helpful, accommodating and talented! I really like their methods too. Very detailed and complete.  They also have the best hours in town - they open earlier and also stay open later then most. I always get a pedi and a gel polish and its typically $55 before tip.
