I have a habit of biting my nails and am very self conscious of letting people see them. The nail technician was extremely understanding and took the time to make them look better  than I ever imagined they could! The salon is very stylish and everyone was extremely friendly. This place is AMAZING! I was in WI for business and my nails were in dire need of a manicure.  I called Q-ticles and they gave me a 6 pm appointment.  Anna was wonderful and gave me the best treatment. She took time to talk with me, suggest colors and took her time doing my gel manicure. The shop closes at 7:30 but Anna didn't rush to get finished.  I will absolutely come here again the next time I am in Milwaukee and in need of nail services. Well trained staffs that focused mainly on quality and sanitation with excellent customer service skills. They're known for their zero gravity chair that fully reclined after the pedicure is completed. They're also known for their gel manicure lasting up to 3 weeks. They also have a loyalty program that they will keep track for you in their computer system. The salon is spotless and they used a dentist professional autoclave to sterilized their tools. Read Less

I love this little gem tucked away in Shorewood. They've always been able to accommodate last minute appointments for me, and are surprisingly never too busy. They have a large selection of shellac polishes and are knowledgeable on their colors. I always do shellac mani with regular polish pedi and I hate searching for the two different brands to match perfect. Luckily here I've never had this problem because they know their products and can pick the regular polish color out right away. (It's the little things...) The pedi chairs are so over-sized and comfortable. They full on recline you when it comes time to place the heat towels on your legs and polish your toes. I've almost fallen asleep at every appointment, and have actually seen someone fall asleep and they nicely let the client sleep and wake up on her own as not to be a bother. The staff are really nice and engage in conversation with you, not just their co-workers (my pet peeve). I just wish they would offer Diet Coke like other places I've frequented!! Read Less

I went to Q-ticles for the very first time today for a spa pedicure. I was slightly hesitant (as a bad pedi from an establishment that shall remained unnamed) caused major infection and resulted in surgical procedures....Q-ticles assured me all tools are sterilized and files/sponges/etc are tossed after each use.Lots of amazing colors to chose from here for manis and pedis. It is always so difficult for me to decide on a color.My nail technician was Anna. She was so friendly and kind. She did such a great job I may have fallen asleep for a few minutes! My toes look so nice they look fake. Seriously. And my bothersome calluses are almost not existent. Also, the chairs are amazing at this salon.I highly recommend and do plan on returning. Got a French there with a higher level of 7 day stronger option or something like that. Started cracking off the next day. I have never went back since. I heard my friend who recommended me there say she always got the expensive Shellack or something that sounds like it, and she was always happy with it. But frankly I can do my own nails and don't want to spend 30-50 dollars for that here. If I spend that much money, I have real high expectations. So maybe it's not my thing. Read Less

My favorite "me" time.  The salon is stylish and immaculate.  I love that they are continually making changes for the comfort of their customers.  The staff is very professional and the service is amazing.  My shellac French Manicure lasts easily for a month.  I highly recommend this salon. I went here for a manicure and a pedicure with my friend for the first time. I won't be returning anytime soon and feel was a waste of money. The temperature of the place was very cold and I had to keep my jacket on. The guy who was doing my nails kept me in the pedicure chair while doing the manicure. It was an awkward position but my feet also went numb since it was so cold. I was at this place for 2 1/2 hours which is a pretty long time. Also, my nails smudge immediately. I got an 2nd manicure a week later at a different location which proved the nail tech didn't do much. My friend got the shellac for a manicure but that came off after a week. I found Q-ticles on Yelp and called to inquire about an appointment. It was Monday, so their voicemail message explained that they were closed. I planned to call first thing Tuesday morning, but the owner, Quan, beat me to the punch! He phoned even though I didn't leave a voicemail just to make sure I was taken care of. Blown away by the amazing customer service, I made an appointment, and was not surprised when I received an incredible manicure. Had my first pedi here today, and I think it was the most relaxing I've ever had. The lady who did my pedi really took her time with the filing and "maintenance". She used the most incredible lemongrass scrub that smelled fresh and invigorating. When it was time for the foot/calf massage, the massage chairs fully reclined, putting me in the most comfortable position. All the while, relaxing and beautiful spa music played through the speakers. I never wanted to leave.And my toes look great! Read Less

Today was my first visit, and most likely my last. I was greeted by the receptionist and told to pick my polish. She was polite, but that's where it ended. The young lady that did my pedicure was less than personable.  I noticed  other guests being  offered water or tea, I wasn't. The only conversation we had was her asking if I was just getting a regular pedicure or what. The pedicure itself was sub par, I was not impressed. The salon itself is beautiful, but first impressions mean a lot.  I was less than happy.Update: 3 days post pedicure.  The owner offered me 50% off my next service because of the less than favorable experience. Now, that is an awesome gesture.  Unfortunately, my updated review is more disappointing. Day three and it looks terrible. You can really see how uneven my nails were cut/filed.  The polish job looks bad too. You can see where she missed and didn't clean up the cuticle very well.  I shouldn't be seeing dry skin around that area after only 3 days!  2 stars instead of 3. Read Less
