By far the worst time I have had getting a mani-pedi. I wish I knew the name of the person to avoid, but sadly, she did not introduce herself. The appointment was for 9:30. We arrived at 9:20. I was finally taken back at 9:50 with no apologies or explanations. I wanted gels but was told there was not time for that. The pedi salt scrub literally involved her dumping salt from a shaker onto her glove, moving it around my feet twice and then putting it back into the water. Don't... bother to get the "extra" service. There are better places out there. I had polish on my nails, which also seemed to inconvenience her. She informed me that she couldn't complete my manicure service -even with a regular manicure- because she would have to take off the polish. When we moved to the manicure station, she informed me that her next appointment had cancelled, so she could do the gel if I wanted, but first she needed to take off the polish. She filed my nails down and wrapped them (all without making any eye contact, conversation, or even a smile) and then left the room for about 25 minutes. She came back and tried to scrape my pinky nail polish off, but was unsuccessful. She wrapped it back up and disappeared again. At this point I had been on site for over 1.5 hours. When she returned, she scrapped, filed, and buffed my nails thin and said she wouldn't have time for anything but regular polish because my polish removal took so long. I let her know that I usually just rub nail polish remover with a cotton ball on it and it comes right off. She seemed to think the nail polish (opi gel from another store) was to blame. By that time I was ok with it because I was concerned about how much filing she had done. She said she couldn't do the regular 3 coats because it would take too long. She finally finished and moved me to the drying couch after almost 3 hours. She did not tel me how long to stay, didn't take out the toe paper, didn't even speak to me. No one asked how the service was up front, and I looked for a suggestion box, but found none. Please watch out. This was a VERY expensive, VERY long mani-pedi and the service was terrible. I am so disappointed in this experience and am shocked that this was an Aveda approved representative. I have never felt less appreciated than I did today. Can't say enough good things about Neroli Mequon -- because it's one of Neroli's smaller locations, you really do feel like you have the whole place to yourself when you receive a spa service. I've had amazing massages and facials there (I typically go to Gregory for massages and Miranda for facials), and refuse to go to any spa besides Neroli because of how taken care of I feel there! :)

I received a great pedicure at Mequon location however the nail tech also got polish on my leather sandal. I have worn these sandals at other pedicures at the Bayshore location without any problem. She tried cleaning but it did not lift the stain. I asked if she recommended I put on the spa sandal on my other foot to avoid stain on the left but she said no.
Later, I spoke to the manager who was very unfriendly (no smile) who stated there was nothing she could do. Very poor customer service with lack of service recovery.

I had a gift card to this place. I went for a gel mani/pedi. Their color selection was so limited that I ended up having to choose colors that I didn't really want. (I wanted bright colors, and they didn't have ANY!) Then my husband and I went here for a spray tan. (Between the spray tans and tip, it cost us almost $100). The woman who sprayed us was very nice and professional, but the spray tan didn't work! Very light tan in color, and even after waiting overnight to shower, most of it came off. (I've been to a place where a machine sprays me and it was so much better than this!). Therefore, I found Neroli to be disappointing and overpriced.

Mother of my child was treated to a salon and spa experience only to have the most created stress I have ever seen her go through. The highlight and cut was over charged at nearly 200 dollars for hair that looked the same prior to her visit. She left her review as well and the manager stated they would call with a resolution and after failing to do so after a week, she had called to follow up. Only to be told by Richard the head of guest services that there was nothing that could be done. Well as my fiance said they are FAKE. DO NOT USE NEROLI. Would not recommend any one to use their services.

Well what was an amazing day turned out to be nothing but a fake. Had an ultimate Spa and Salon day only to have a horrible haircut and color outcome. The moment while there it was all glitz and glam until your home and realize how overly priced their “talent” was. Scheduled a full head of highlights and was never told I was charged the same price for a half set until at home and had to call for being overcharged.. said that their was “toner” that had to be used. That’s their job and the price was set before even touched my hair so how would they know that would be the reason why? ... Fake. Not to mention it was never negotiated that I would be given a half vs. a full head of highlights. & the cut was the exact same when I came in.

The place is clean and the staff is nice but for the amount of money I paid I would’ve preferred a better massage. There were parts of my body that didn’t even get massaged but was included in my package that I paid for.

My most recent visit to Neroli will be my last. I brought a photo with me to show the stylist the look that I wanted. When I showed it to her, she stated that I would have to go to a professional to achieve the look. Ummmmm... hello... aren't the stylists at Neroli professionals? If she wasn't a professional, then why the heck did I have to pay for my cut? Will not be returning.

Went to the salon to get a balayage. Stylist was nice. Apparently my hair didn't take well to the color and the color wasn't very noticeable. Was told that I could come back and have more toner put on it to lighten up for only $20. Got home and realized in different light the hair color was not noticeable at all. Tried to schedule an appointment to get it lightened and next thing you know it will cost at least $85 to fix, not the $20 I was told. Definitely wasted money on thi...s. Very disappointing. The person I talked to at corporate was rude about the issue was rude about it and not helpful at all. Don't understand why you would need to pay full price again to get something fixed that didn't turn out well the first time. I feel like this place is a scam and just cares about getting your money. Services are way over priced for what you get. The atmosphere isn't even very nice at the salon. Would not recommend going here. See More

Customer service is horrible all the way to upper management. The day before my wedding i had scheduled a mani and pedi appointment with my maid of honor. She was able to get her mani and pedi completed in time, but at 5:00 pm I was told they didn't have time to finish my pedicure because it would take too long because of the ridges in my nails! I was getting married the very next day with open toe shoes, and they made me leave without any polish on my toes. They didn't check to see if anyone else was available to finish them since the salon was still open until i asked them. They couldn't find anyone or "make" the nail technician stay past 5pm, but they did recommended I go to one of their competitors. I didn't even get an apology. Poorest customer service I've ever experienced. BEYOND DISAPPOINTED.

I sent this email to Susan Haise (the owner) directly using the email from the website on 8/21, but have yet to get any kind of response, so I thought I would post it here: I wanted to give some feedback on my experiences at the Brookfield Road location. I recently moved here from California, where I went to an Aveda salon regularly for over 10 years. I decided to give Neroli (Brookfield location) a try because it's also an Aveda salon and it's close to my house. My bigge...st complaint is that the stylists don't sweep their areas after giving a haircut, before bringing back their next client. I don't want to walk and step on other people's hair! It's disgusting! The first time I came in I thought that this was just a one-off, but the second time I came in and was there for about 2 hours, and saw it happen over and over again and by many different stylists, I realized that this seems to be normal, at least for this location. As a client that is paying a good sum of money to come to the salon, I would expect to never be seated in an area that isn't clean and definitely not an area where I have to step on someone else's cut hair! Also - I would think that after my bangs were cut that the stylist would have a brush or use the hair dryer to blow the little pieces of hair off of my face - I had to try to brush it off myself with my hands. Needless to say, I'm quite a bit disappointed in my two experiences at this salon and I'm considering either trying a different Neroli location or going to another salon altogether. I would prefer to stay at an Aveda salon, but it seems that Neroli doesn't have the same high standards as the Aveda salon that I frequented in California. See More

Pretty disappointed in my wax today. I came in for a Brazilian wax. I have had a lot of Brazilian waxes before and also have done them at home myself. I also have had laser hair removal on my bikini area. There was not much hair to remove but she managed to not remove it all. When I got home I realized there was still wax on my skin and hair all over the place that was missed. It was also more painful than others I've had. Overall when looking for a good wax I would avoid this place, honestly even a decent wax. You're better off doing it yourself and saving yourself the money. I will not be returning. I was hoping to schedule a wax in the next month or two but I think after today's experience I will go somewhere else.

I have never written a review but I was so disappointed that my friends told me to review it on Yelp so here goes... went in for a brow and lip wax for the first time (wanted someone else to do it for a change)... took 5 minutes with me ... showed me what was done basically in the dark ... went home and looked in a 10x mirror and pretty much tweezed my entire lip and most of my brows myself which again was the reason besides wanting to be pampered a tad was why I went... and tipped 20% on $32 .. now on the other side I bought product and the guy that assisted me was awesome which is the reason I even gave two stars. So sad I will not be buying my product or any services again.

Tonight was one of those times.After a different salon cancelled my appointment last minute (I won't name names, but they are on Oakland in Shorewood), I was in a panic to find someone to tend my unruly locks. It had been far too long since they had been groomed! A stylish coworker of mine, whose hair always looks fabulous, suggested I call Neroli. She told me to ask for Michelle, her stylist. I thought to myself, "I'll never get in, things like that just don't happen". Well lo and behold, I was delighted when I found out she had an appointment that very evening for 8 o'clock. I love a salon that has hours past six, as many of us work for a living!Although it's located in a strip mall, once I entered the place the vibe was chill and elegant at the same time. Totes comfy. Michelle was as sweet as can be and talked to me thoroughly about my hair and what I wanted prior to beginning the cut. I showed her my Pinterest board of hair that I liked and after conversation, we headed to the shampoo bowl...I ended up with a fabulous cut! One I would've had to book months ahead of time if I was in Chicago. I can't believe I called and got in on the same day. AND received such a spectacular cut!!!As I said before, sometimes I'm a lucky girl and today was one of those days!

I've never been to a Neroli salon before, but after hearing good things I decided to give it a try. The new Neroli salon in Mequon recently opened. The interior is beautiful, spa and zen-like. I loved it! And their hair washing station chairs are the most comfortable things. (I wanted one for home, minus the sink.) Parking is super convenient too. When I entered the salon I was greeted with that wonderful Aveda tea and a warm towel for my hands. How lovely on a freezing cold January day? I had made an appointment with Michelle Senour for full highlights and a cut. I am someone who has very naturally light/long hair so I tend to go a while in between highlights and cuts. By the time I made this appointment I was over-due. Michelle gave me the best consult I have ever had! She asked me what I liked about my hair, what I thought about the color, what I was hoping it would look like, how much length I was willing to take off, what products I was currently using, etc. I explained that to me it was drab and flat and I wanted more body/layers, and to really brighten up the blonde without having it look unnatural. Well, the cut was fantastic, and the color just as great! I've always walked out of salons feeling just good about my hair, but never wowed. I was wowed with Michelle's work. The long layers are perfect, it feels fuller, looks fuller and she did a great job framing my face with the perfect length layers that I cant tuck behind my ears, or let down when I have my hair up. The cut was very flattering to my face.Not only did my hair turn out great, but Michelle gave me a wonderful hand massage while my color processed and a fantastic head massage during my hair washing. She showed me how to achieve more volume when I am blow drying my own hair and tips for styling. I never felt rushed during the whole process, which I have to say has never been my experience at other salons. Overall I would say the price is inline with other higher-end salons I've been to, but the service exceeded my expectations. I booked another appointment with Michelle, and am thinking about scheduling a massage or facial there too. The spa was beautiful! Highly recommend!

Can't say enough good things about Neroli Mequon -- because it's one of Neroli's smaller locations, you really do feel like you have the whole place to yourself when you receive a spa service. The place is clean and the staff is nice but for the amount of money I paid I would’ve preferred a better massage. There were parts of my body that didn’t even get massaged but was included in my package that I paid for.

My most recent visit to Neroli will be my last. I brought a photo with me to show the stylist the look that I wanted. When I showed it to her, she stated that I would have to go to a professional to achieve the look. Ummmmm... hello... aren't the stylists at Neroli professionals? If she wasn't a professional, then why the heck did I have to pay for my cut? Will not be returning.

Went to the salon to get a balayage. Stylist was nice. Apparently my hair didn't take well to the color and the color wasn't very noticeable. Was told that I could come back and have more toner put on it to lighten up for only $20. Got home and realized in different light the hair color was not noticeable at all. Tried to schedule an appointment to get it lightened and next thing you know it will cost at least $85 to fix, not the $20 I was told. Definitely wasted money on thi...s. Very disappointing. The person I talked to at corporate was rude about the issue was rude about it and not helpful at all. Don't understand why you would need to pay full price again to get something fixed that didn't turn out well the first time. I feel like this place is a scam and just cares about getting your money. Services are way over priced for what you get. The atmosphere isn't even very nice at the salon. Would not recommend going here. See More

Received a gel manicure with “stress fix” but got no massage. They said there wasn’t time since I wanted gel.. but I booked online and there was no option to add gel to it online so I wrote it in the notes. $73 gel manicure later and 7 days later two nails have completed chipped off and more are partially coming off.

Customer service is horrible all the way to upper management. The day before my wedding i had scheduled a mani and pedi appointment with my maid of honor. She was able to get her mani and pedi completed in time, but at 5:00 pm I was told they didn't have time to finish my pedicure because it would take too long because of the ridges in my nails! I was getting married the very next day with open toe shoes, and they made me leave without any polish on my toes. They didn't check to see if anyone else was available to finish them since the salon was still open until i asked them. They couldn't find anyone or "make" the nail technician stay past 5pm, but they did recommended I go to one of their competitors. I didn't even get an apology. Poorest customer service I've ever experienced. BEYOND DISAPPOINTED.

I was told there was an opening at 10am with "Sydney" I got there at 9:50 and waited till 10:15 and still didn't get taken to my chair to get started. I had to be back in Cedarburg at 11:30 so I became frustrated and just left. I walked out and saw about 5 ladies standing around in the lobby area???

I sent this email to Susan Haise (the owner) directly using the email from the website on 8/21, but have yet to get any kind of response, so I thought I would post it here: I wanted to give some feedback on my experiences at the Brookfield Road location. I recently moved here from California, where I went to an Aveda salon regularly for over 10 years. I decided to give Neroli (Brookfield location) a try because it's also an Aveda salon and it's close to my house. My bigge...st complaint is that the stylists don't sweep their areas after giving a haircut, before bringing back their next client. I don't want to walk and step on other people's hair! It's disgusting! The first time I came in I thought that this was just a one-off, but the second time I came in and was there for about 2 hours, and saw it happen over and over again and by many different stylists, I realized that this seems to be normal, at least for this location. As a client that is paying a good sum of money to come to the salon, I would expect to never be seated in an area that isn't clean and definitely not an area where I have to step on someone else's cut hair! Also - I would think that after my bangs were cut that the stylist would have a brush or use the hair dryer to blow the little pieces of hair off of my face - I had to try to brush it off myself with my hands. Needless to say, I'm quite a bit disappointed in my two experiences at this salon and I'm considering either trying a different Neroli location or going to another salon altogether. I would prefer to stay at an Aveda salon, but it seems that Neroli doesn't have the same high standards as the Aveda salon that I frequented in California. See More

Pretty disappointed in my wax today. I came in for a Brazilian wax. I have had a lot of Brazilian waxes before and also have done them at home myself. I also have had laser hair removal on my bikini area. There was not much hair to remove but she managed to not remove it all. When I got home I realized there was still wax on my skin and hair all over the place that was missed. It was also more painful than others I've had. Overall when looking for a good wax I would avoid this place, honestly even a decent wax. You're better off doing it yourself and saving yourself the money. I will not be returning. I was hoping to schedule a wax in the next month or two but I think after today's experience I will go somewhere else.

I have never written a review but I was so disappointed that my friends told me to review it on Yelp so here goes... went in for a brow and lip wax for the first time (wanted someone else to do it for a change)... took 5 minutes with me ... showed me what was done basically in the dark ... went home and looked in a 10x mirror and pretty much tweezed my entire lip and most of my brows myself which again was the reason besides wanting to be pampered a tad was why I went... and tipped 20% on $32 .. now on the other side I bought product and the guy that assisted me was awesome which is the reason I even gave two stars. So sad I will not be buying my product or any services again.

Oh boy. Sometimes I'm just a lucky girl. Tonight was one of those times.After a different salon cancelled my appointment last minute (I won't name names, but they are on Oakland in Shorewood), I was in a panic to find someone to tend my unruly locks. It had been far too long since they had been groomed! A stylish coworker of mine, whose hair always looks fabulous, suggested I call Neroli. She told me to ask for Michelle, her stylist. I thought to myself, "I'll never get in, things like that just don't happen". Well lo and behold, I was delighted when I found out she had an appointment that very evening for 8 o'clock. I love a salon that has hours past six, as many of us work for a living!Although it's located in a strip mall, once I entered the place the vibe was chill and elegant at the same time. Totes comfy. Michelle was as sweet as can be and talked to me thoroughly about my hair and what I wanted prior to beginning the cut. I showed her my Pinterest board of hair that I liked and after conversation, we headed to the shampoo bowl...I ended up with a fabulous cut! One I would've had to book months ahead of time if I was in Chicago. I can't believe I called and got in on the same day. AND received such a spectacular cut!!!As I said before, sometimes I'm a lucky girl and today was one of those days!

I've never been to a Neroli salon before, but after hearing good things I decided to give it a try. The new Neroli salon in Mequon recently opened. The interior is beautiful, spa and zen-like. I loved it! And their hair washing station chairs are the most comfortable things. (I wanted one for home, minus the sink.) Parking is super convenient too. When I entered the salon I was greeted with that wonderful Aveda tea and a warm towel for my hands. How lovely on a freezing cold January day? I had made an appointment with Michelle Senour for full highlights and a cut. I am someone who has very naturally light/long hair so I tend to go a while in between highlights and cuts. By the time I made this appointment I was over-due. Michelle gave me the best consult I have ever had! She asked me what I liked about my hair, what I thought about the color, what I was hoping it would look like, how much length I was willing to take off, what products I was currently using, etc. I explained that to me it was drab and flat and I wanted more body/layers, and to really brighten up the blonde without having it look unnatural. Well, the cut was fantastic, and the color just as great! I've always walked out of salons feeling just good about my hair, but never wowed. I was wowed with Michelle's work. The long layers are perfect, it feels fuller, looks fuller and she did a great job framing my face with the perfect length layers that I cant tuck behind my ears, or let down when I have my hair up. The cut was very flattering to my face.Not only did my hair turn out great, but Michelle gave me a wonderful hand massage while my color processed and a fantastic head massage during my hair washing. She showed me how to achieve more volume when I am blow drying my own hair and tips for styling. I never felt rushed during the whole process, which I have to say has never been my experience at other salons. Overall I would say the price is inline with other higher-end salons I've been to, but the service exceeded my expectations. I booked another appointment with Michelle, and am thinking about scheduling a massage or facial there too. The spa was beautiful! Highly recommend!
