The woman asked me if I wanted a design on my toenails, I said no, and she still drew it, and honestly, it looks terrible. Also, she didn’t do a very good job of putting the nail polish on all of my nails, like there are spots on the sides that look terrible. As she was filing and using her tools on my fingernails, she pricked me with one of them and it hurt the whole time she was doing my nails!! We put hydrogen peroxide on it after and there were so many bubbles!!! (If you don’t know, the bubbles clean out the germs.) I was practically crying after it happened as I was in so much pain. I went here to get a pedicure...and I will never be returning for another. It was horrible. We had to wait a long time. Then she cut the side of my toe nails and was pulling it back and it was extremely painful. (I have never had a place do this before. And it was not my cutical bed.) Probably the best job ever done. I am well aware of the steps to apply shellac, the lady I had did a thorough job of each step. Hand massage and checked to make sure nothing was stuck afterwards. I've been to places where they swipe the dehydrated across in one swoop and have you out in 20min. Then wondering why it doesn't last. My first time here wasn't the best but not the worst. This was my second attempt and ill be making this my spot from now on if they keep it up. Read Less

Paid $75 for pedicure and acrylics, which is more then there website said it should've been anyway so that's one issue. Second issue is she rushed through them and did a terrible job. My sister and I went together and hers lasted less then two weeks and I'm getting my repainted cuz I hate them so badly! Never coming here again! Read Less

The service was friendly and they did an amazing job on my nails. The design was even better than I thought and the nails were not too thick or too thin. They listened to what I wanted and delivered. If you haven't tried this place before I would definitely recommend it. Read Less

I went to get a pedicure and a full set about a week ago with my boyfriends sister. Got seated within 10 minutes... took someone 30 minutes to start my pedicure and even longer to start hers. Then it was time for my full set and there are only TWO people who are trained to do a full set. TWO people. Then a group of three people come in and sit down they waited for maybe 10 minutes and they got their full set BEFORE I did and I had already been there for an hour and a half waiting to get a full set for 35 minutes not to mention how horrible my pedicure looked. And then they proceeded to charge me FULL price for my pedicure. & I didn't even get my full set done. Horrible service, will never go back. Read Less

Had a new set put on for daughters wedding. Waited 1.5 hours before reaching the chair and once there I realized it was a mistake. Nails were thick and oddly shaped. I was embarrassed. Husband said they looked like something out of a horror movie. I woke up and drove to my old nail salon 30min away where they promptly corrected what was done at TLC. I won't go back. Read Less

Had a 4 pm resrvation.  Didn't sit at a station until 15 minutes later and then sat for 30 minutes with hands in lukewarm water before a technician arrived.  Work was fast and clean; good nail color selection which is why they received a star.  Hand massage took about 1 minute per hand.  Will not return, noticed they have not received an award for the "best of Manitowoc" for the last 2 years. I had to wait 20 mins for a pedicure which was fine but didn't realize there was a wait when they had me sit & soak my feet as nothing was said.  The nail tech was great & did a fabulous job so it made up for the wait. Read Less

Where to begin... Words cannot begin to describe the utter disgust I had receiving nail services at this establishment. I can't believe I paid $35 for a nail technician to do a worse job than I could do at home. No dead skin removal, no massage, lack of experience, and poor customer interaction. My nails are slanted and squared when I wanted a rounded nail. I had every intention to get the shellac manicure and decided on a normal polish because I just wanted to leave. It...'s inconvenient to only be able to leave cash tips, and the entry way to the shop is tiny! We were rushed to pick out our nail polish in order to let new customers in. Loitering non-technicians crowded the shop and created an uncomfortable atmosphere. When my nail polish color started to run out the technician added acetone to make more. My sister described her pedicure "massage" as torturous and just wanted them to stop. Plus, the shop got smokey and smelly when someone made some kind of overpowering meat, our other sister had to leave the shop all together.
