No, no, no. Don't know where to start. Got my nails and feet done here. The pedi was amazing but the guy that did my nails was horrible. I wanted some stones on both of my ring fingers. He didn't give me what I asked for on top of that he made me pay for my nails and they weren't even done yet. I guess he knew that he was going to do a horrible job so he made me pay first. He was afraid I was gonna complain and probably not pay. My polish is done horribly I'm just pissed off all the way around because he overcharged me as well and didn't give me what I wanted. My 1st mistake was relying on others review of this nail establishment. Th nail tech who did my pedicure did a really good job, when it came to my nails it was all downhill. He did a horrible job shaping my nails and he used a product on me that even he himself said was horrible!!!! Yet still charged me and didnt offer to redo and if I didnt have to leave ...I would have had them take it all off and do again!! I just called them(10 minutes after leaving) to ask if I can come back after having to get my husband and the guy tells me I should have expressed myself before paying. I told him I had to leave to get my husband but i would like to return and he redo them ...he said it was too late because I left. Read Less

My granddaughter 7 and her friend 6 had a Mani and a Pedi. The pedi was full service. The Mani was pretty much put polish on with nothing else. They charged full price for the mani's. I suggest they have child prices. It was my granddaughter's birthday and this is what she wanted for a gift. Read Less

I was in town for a wedding and decided last-minute to get my nails done. They were able to take me the morning of, with no waiting time. Both my manicure and pedicure turned out wonderfully, and still look nice a week later. I got shellac for the first time (wasn't too sure what it was), but it wasn't much more in terms of price. Manicures rarely last me a whole week, but mine has held up through drinking, work, painting, and cleaning. The only negative things I'd say are that it's a little hard to notice at first, and the employee who showed up (apparently late) was unprofessional (dress, loudly listening to music on her phone, being rude to the owner). You guys. This is a magical place. I discovered V Nails by chance about a year ago and can't find a reason to go anywhere else. The husband and wife that run the salon are so friendly and generous! They have so many fun extras that are unique to their salon - margaritas for evening appointments, a "Wheel of Fortune" style wheel where you can win a discount on your next service, and extra long foot and hand massages. Ok, so this place isn't fancy, and if you're a snob, you should not go here. It's the kind of place where the only issue of People magazine available is from 2015 and where most of the buttons on the massage chair remote controls are rubbed off/broken. But it is ALSO the kind of place that's run by a really charming and friendly couple, who seem overworked and understaffed, but also incredibly kind and good at their jobs. Everything is clean, lots of polish colors available, and as part of my pedicure, I got the best calf massage I've ever had. She did a fantastic job with all the gross, bumpy, hard, calloused spot on my feet; even my husband, who's very picky about my (usually gross) feet, was impressed. If you can be patient, and not get hung up on how this place ain't a spa palace (it's in a strip mall next to an autobody supply shop, people, what do you expect?), then you'll have a great experience here. We were in Madison visiting and decided we wanted pedicures on a Saturday afternoon. Called ahead to see if they could get us in and they said to come right over! They did an amazing job and the prices were great. Even for a basic pedicure the salt scrub and massage were fantastic and the employees were very friendly and even sent us home with free nail files. I'd recommend V-nails based on my experience with a Shellac manicure. One nice thing about them is that they're open on Sundays. The staff was very friendly; I chatted with the owner, who did my nails, the whole time. Their prices are reasonable ($30 for shellac). I will definitely be going back! Read Less

FYI, they make you buy the nail filer and nail bluffer for $1! Lol not a big deal but the need to let customers know first! They also don't have set prices they just make it up as they go! My nails turned out ok. He filed the glue off my skin to hard and made me bleed. I told him but he really didn't understand me. He painted 3 coats of polish on my fingers one after another and it took forever to dry so I left after sitting there for 15 mins waiting for them to dry in the end I went home and painted them myself! Ever since relocating back from Atlanta I've been looking for a good place on the east side to get a pedicure and I'm glad I chose to go to this little gem on the the North side! I came in an hour before close. I saw Shawn and I walked in without an appointment and was seen right away. There were a lot of polishes to choose from and they had a decent OPI selection which is always a plus. Don't be put off by the ambiance-this is a NICE place! I was seated in a nice chair with a clean bowl-they have the plastic wraps for the pedicure bowls and I love that! The water was warm, a perfect temperature and the massage chair worked. Shawn helped me into the chair and set the massage to my liking-he was VERY helpful the entire visit. What I liked most is that he paid very close attention to detail and he was gentle. Everything is sanitized and clean. They offer you beverages, hint that you want vino and you may get some *hint hint* they give you a bag of goodies (buffers, nail shapers, whatever you want to call it) to come back with so that it's only used on you. Shawn is from TX and recently took over the shop in the last month. You may want to disregard the previous negative reviews because this place is under new management and I have a feeling they are going to take over the north east side nail business! This place is awful. I got a full set and a pedicure. The pedicure station was not clean AT ALL. I felt anxious sitting down since where you put your feet AND the chairs were dirty. Thank god I hadn't shaved my legs before hand. Their nail polish SUCKS. It NEVER dried even though I was under a their drying system for 20 minutes. Almost every finger smudged or got chipped within an hour of me leaving. So I went back and chose a new color because I gave them the benefit of the doubt. That one didn't smudge as much BUT 2 nails popped clean off a week later like I glued them on myself with Sally Hansen press on nails...So I had to get them fixed somewhere else. the woman who fixed them had to fix 2 more which were on their way to popping off as well. The ONLY thing I could say was a positive was she did shape my nails nicely, but any nail tech should be able do that so I guess I'm grasping at straws here Read Less

I've been to V Nails twice now and have been very satisfied with their service. Their gel mani is $30, which is average around the area. I was impressed with the lady that did my gel mani; she was very meticulous and did not rush through the whole process. The pedicure was very relaxing. Yelpers complained that they had to wait but I never had to when I made an appointment prior to arriving. It is tuck inside a mall and hidden in a corner next to the auto store. I just had a shellac manicure done a V. Nails.  They were very nice and did a good job, considering how picky I am. The hand/arm massage was really nice! Only complaints are that they didn't have a ton of shellac colors to choose from. and it was a little cold. Read Less

I had a great pedicure ny Moon at V.  I love the fact that they are open on Sundays.  They are speedy, friendly and polite.  This is not a spa experience bit if you are in need of a well priced, no-nonsense mani or pedi give this place a try. Read Less

Not bad. This place is right by Savaduskies and Frugal Muse. We walked in a half hour before closing on a saturday and they took three of us, while we were getting our nails done, atleast 5 others walked in. They never turned anyone down, even though the last two people walked in at 5 to close.  Must be good. It wasn't exceptionally cheap but it was reasonable. We all got acrylics and they found a way to charge each one of us an extra $5 for some reason but still reasonably priced.The people were friendly; spoke broken english. One lady in particular joked around with customers and seemed to know a few by name, which shows they care. Read Less
