Not much positive to say, other than that I got a warm greeting from Mary when I walked in and it's a small cozy little place.I chose gel polish but then changed my mind, asking if they had the same color in regular polish. She said yes but then didn't seem to actually understand me. Oh well.The curing light was faulty; it turned on and off about 50 times during my mani. I had to keep wiggling my fingers and did end up messing up one of my nails.The polish was almost gone and seemed old; after 2 coats it was super uneven, so she did 3 and it's still not perfect. After she was done she went to put oil on my cuticles but used polish instead- oops.The worst part, though, was the paraffin dip. My tech told me to dip both hands in, then the owner came over and took my wrist in her hand, saying, "No, just one! Test first!" I love heat but it was way too hot. I asked how long it would take to cool down and she said she didn't know, but I should just do it again but faster. Then another tech came over and rubbed lotion all over one of my hands, which flung bits of wax all over the floor and my clothes. Then they said to just keep putting my hand in differently- in faster, out slow, but no not like that. I've had a paraffin dip before, it should not be that difficult. They were concerned and apologetic about having almost burned me after the fact. I assured them I was fine but it was way too hot, period, and left really stressed out from having the three of them all around me arguing. Read Less
