Walked in asking for gel manicure (with chipped shellac already on x 3 weeks) and they got me seated right away. Was going to do regular manicure to let my nails breathe, but I was talked into another gel manicure  - was offered something to drink & I took a seat!Easily removed previous shellac, tried out new opi gel color with a beautifully done manicure and  meticulous detail, and paraffin dip for hands - all for $30!! I am in need of a place in Madison which is do for manicures, but I am looking for a place that does sink pedicures which are more sanitary (I've not had a pedicure here yet, but their chairs are sanitary appearing, so I may give it a shot next time). I think this place does a great job with a basic manicure. They are quick & efficient without making it feel rushed, which I appreciate. I have never had to wait more than a few minutes for walk-in service, even on busy Saturday mornings. While I feel $15 is a fair price for a manicure, I have been upcharged $3 (on two separate occasions) for "special nail polish" colors that were on the "regular polish" options. Also, the guy that answers the phone but otherwise sits in a pedicure chair & watches videos on his phone, is rude. I'm relieved I can't understand what he's saying because I'm confident it would make me never want to step foot in the place again. The manager (lady)....was yelling alot since I was asking alot about the deals and specials that they have....she ended up not doing my nails and told me that none of the people around does manicure......the other staff members were really nice.....but she was just irritated the whole time, so I left. We went to Madison to celebrate a friends 50th birthday. We all wanted a pedi and we were staying on the west side of town. Booked pedis because they were open at 9 a.m. on a Saturday. We were all very impressed with the kindness of all the techs and the salon was very nicely decorated and very clean. We were all very pleased with the services and would definitely recommend. I would never go to this place again. The lady rushed my shellac manicure trying to hurry to the next customer. Didn't allow it to dry the complete 40-60 seconds in between each coat. My nails have small bubbles in the paint. She didnt even clean up the paint job before asking me to put it under the led lights. Waste of $30. The only good thing was the parafen wax. Read Less

Horrible.   Went in for a mani/pedi.   Young guy asked to do my mani & the same time a lady was doing my pedi.   Completely unrelaxing.   Nails look horrible.  They have bumps and paint on my skin.    He rushed my manicure so that he could sit in a pedicure chair and play on his phone.   Strongly recommend going somewhere else. The facility was clean, and I received a thorough mani and pedi that lasted over an hour and a half (massage, wax treatment, cuticle work, etc.). Also, the staff was friendly.Unfortunately, the place was understaffed (I had an appointment but had to wait for 20 minutes). Also, the quality of the gel mani was so-so. It wasn't the neatest..there were specs of polish on the skin around my nail when I left the salon. But it wasn't awful. I also got a cut or two during the cuticle work.I will probably return someday, but I think I'll try my luck somewhere else in a few weeks when I'm ready for another mani/pedi. Read Less

I had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! When getting a pedicure, I heard "oh oh" while I was getting my toe nails cut. My toenail is cracked down the middle, just hanging there. Then, 4 workers were pointing and talking about me in a foreign language. She ended up gluing in back on. I was offered no discount when I checked out. The next day, the nail got caught on my sock and completely ripped off. I HAVE NO TOENAIL BECAUSE OF THIS PEDICURE. It bled pretty good too. I called the salon and asked for a refund, the manager told me the nail was cracked before and they did nothing wrong. I told him he is going to lose a loyal costumer  (I have been there a few times before and had no issues) and he told me "you can do what you want" he became rude and when I asked for a refund again. I wanted a gel Manicure with French Nails. I had a wonderfully relaxing experience! I would highly recommend this place. Very Clean. Lots of nail color selections beautifully displayed. Two and a half weeks ago, I got my first ever shellac manicure; I chose Nail Art & Spa because I've had pedicures there in the past. The nail technician did a great job. She was efficient and thorough, and I was really happy with the quality of the coral colored polish. Tonight, I went in to have the shellac removed, and it was a NIGHTMARE. The gentleman who removed it was very friendly and pleasant, and my experience began on a positive note. He put acetone on a cotton ball, placed it on my nails, and wrapped each finger in tin foil. Then periodically, he would remove a tinfoil and use the metal tool used to push cuticles back, he would use that tool to scrape the shellac off my nails. However, this process went on for FIFTY-FIVE minutes before all of the polish was finally off. He really had to scrape quite forcefully. And my nails are now very painful. He kept telling me that 'usually it takes 7 or 8 minutes, but this is a very tough color to take off,' and he frequently thanked me for my patience. I've never worn this type of polish before, so I didn't know what to expect for the removal process. But I'm sure my experience can't be the norm! My nails definitely hurt right now. I won't be going back to that salon :-( Too bad, too. Because the staff has always been very friendly there. But it's not worth the discomfort. Read Less

Bottom line? I was served by a women who did great job. My wife however - was treated by the man and.....She will have to go back today as the Lacquer / paint lost within less than 24 hrs....Return next day? Not good news. Not at all Read Less

Clean salon that provides great services. My no-chip manicures always last at least three weeks. I like to make appointments to avoid waiting but they do take walk-ins as well. I like that they take their time as well. I have never left disappointed. Read Less
