I have been to every nail salon on Milton Ave. This is by far the cleanest, friendliest, consistent and professional place of the bunch. They have a price “menu” that they give you to look at ( just like a restaurant menu)and select which service you would like. They talk in English and make conversation to you. They are around to make it a nice experience. They all work together and it’s so nice to see. They try to form relationships with their clients, not just to pocket the cash. Highly recommend!! my Daughter and I came in for am emergency Mom/Daughter night. We were treated amazingly well and our nails turned our absolutely stunning. They stayed late for us and gave us some wonderful conversation. Lynn and Paul were two of the greatest people I've met. The place is so clean and well maintained. I was a customer here since they opened; after today it’s doubtful that I will go back. When they first opened, I loved it. The cleanliness and the quality made the price right. Recently, I’ve noticed the cleanliness isn’t what it use to be and the quality isn’t as good; seemed as if they were rushing along to hurry and get to the next. Last time I asked for a specific design, didn’t get done. Basically just free-styled my design and asked if I liked it. When I told them “n...o” ... no response, no attempt to fix, just awkward silence. Today... My friend and I meet for pedicures. My friend got the rushed pedicure and I had a new employee. I understand new employees, however, almost 90 minutes later I’m still not finished and my friend has been waiting... while waiting an employees small child, who’s a cute little friendly thing, is cruising around the establishment eating sour cream and onion chips; leaving a trail behind her. My dear friend has an onion allergy. The chips and the little girl with onion breath caused my friend to not be able breathe, had to use her inhaler twice, and she lost her voice. My nails look fat and square not coffin I got charged more for coffin they’re too short one hand is way longer and he painted them terrible. I haven’t been this disappointed in a long time. My experience at Grand Nails & Spa was very poor. My tips were crooked. The gel/shellac was up on my cuticles, in the cracks between nail and skin, and on a couple nails it didn't even cover the whole nail. One broke off within a week. I called to explain my disappointment and asked if they would help me out and fix them because of the unsatisfactory quality. The owner, Lynn, said "yes" on the phone, but when I went to the appointment to get them fixed, she said it was normal... for them to look this terrible at 1.5 weeks (I couldn't come sooner because I was on vacation out of the country) and would not redo them for free or even at a reduced cost. Additionally, every time I have made an appointment nobody would honor that. Once they set me up for an appointment at 9:30AM and the sign on the door said closed until 10:00AM. Then, I went back at 10:00AM and they were still not open nor was the person I made the appointment with there. Very unprofessional and very poor quality work. So glad I tried this nail place out. I've never had to wait more than a couple minutes. I get a gel mani every few weeks by either Lisa or Paul. They both do a great job and are friendly. The manicure I received here was fine (just fine) but everything else about the experience was frustrating and definitely made me question the quality of this business.  I didn't have time to get a manicure before my work trip so I stopped in here at the beginning of my travels when I had some spare time between meetings.  Upon picking a nail polish and sitting down with my manicurist in front of me she repeatedly questioned me if I would like the no chip instead of the regular manicure.  When I finally convinced her that I wanted a regular manicure she started her work.  The trouble came when she opened the nail polish bottle.  She noted that the polish was all thick and guncky and that I should go pick another color.  When I returned with a different bottle she opened it up to find the same issue.  I was then sent to choose yet another color.  I came back with two colors to be safe, though one of them wasn't really a color I was hoping for.  However, that was the color I ended up using because the other one had gone bad as well.  How is it that the first 3 bottles of nail polish were all bad?!  And here is the kicker- when she finished with my manicure she put them back on the shelf!  Clearly this is not the place to go for a regular manicure!
