I was looking for a place to get my first ever acrylic set and I thought why not try the little salon I drive by every day? I'm SO glad I did!! The salon is bright, clean, and inviting. They have a million polish color choices and a bunch of different services. All the staff are friendly, which really makes a difference when your first acrylics ever take a bit of time to put on! I came here for my very first set of acrylics ever and I'm SO happy I did. I drive by them every day and just decided to give it a try - now I don't want to go anywhere else! The interior is clean and bright. They have about a million color choices, a bunch of different services, and they're willing to work with you when it comes to scheduling a time to come in. Anastasia was absolutely phenomenal. I have very sensitive red head-skin and have been suffering from cystic acne- I am a real tough case. She asked me many questions and took a great deal of time taking care of my skin. She explained every step and taught me a lot about certain ingredients and reasons why my skin was struggling so much. She spent two hours on my facial and was meticulous with freeing up congestion with gentle extractions. Afterwards I iced my face and after the extraction sites healed (it took about four days), my skin looked great, it hasn't looked this good in years. I also followed up and got a makeup consultation with her to buy a new set of Jane Iredale makeup (very natural and easy on my skin). I had a shellac manicure done at Originails and I won't be back.  Typically, my shellac manicures last me at least 3 weeks.  This one didn't even make it one week!  I called Originails to request some repairs to the polish.  They were willing to oblige but only if I returned to the person who initially did the manicure.  The problem with that was that particular employee had very odd, random hours so I just gave up and decided to scrap my very expensive manicure.  Even if my manicure had lasted longer, my experience was not-so-great.  The woman who did my manicure rattled on and on about breastfeeding and becoming a breastfeeding mentor/coach.  Even though I'm also a mom, it just wasn't what I wanted to hear about when I was looking for a relaxing hour or so away from my own little one.  Frankly, I'd pay more to go someplace else where I can relax and get more bang for my buck.
