It was my first time getting my nails done. They closed at 9 so my sister and i got there around 8:11. We did a walk in and that was pretty easy. They took us right away. The owner did my nails and this other lady did my sister's. Our nails look great. It was quick. And easy and cheaper too (total was $54). One thing I didn't like about them was she didn't paint them all the way to the edges. They look good from the top view but not from the side. Had been going to this salon for almost a year. Typically GREAT service and I always tip about 50%. Before yesterday, my last appointment was almost a half hour wait when I was told "you are next, maybe 10 minutes". Service was rushed, not as great as usual but I still tipped my usual thinking it was just an off day. Yesterday I signed in, was told "30 minute wait. Sign in and you can come back in 30 minutes". I signed in, left, came back 20 minutes later asked where they were and was told "you are next, pick your color". I have gone here a number of times. But was very disapointed, this time I have been using powder, the lady I had was sweet, but made a lot of mistake and had to redo my nails a number of times, over. Finally she got them right. I was there for 2 and half hrs. I thought they would give me half off all they took of was 5.00. I pd 45.00 for them really not happy. I wont go back. If I could give it zero stars I would. I had a gift certificate that I got for Mother's Day. I made my appointment for Saturday morning 10 AM and made the appointment earlier in the week. When I got there they told me to sit at #1. He arrived 20 minutes late and immediately seemed annoyed that I was sitting at his table. He kept trying to upsell me on the pink and white powder French manicure when I kept telling him all I wanted was the painted French manicure. I knew I was in trouble when he started using the Dremel at a high rate of speed. He was very rough and yes he burned my nails from going so fast. Never apologized for it and just proceeded to keep going even after I yelled ouch. In fact he never try to make any conversation with me at all. So after I came back from washing my hands I sat back down in the chair and tried to make small talk with him. I said so you're in seat #1 I'm assuming that you're the owner. His head was buried in his lap as he was texting on his phone he raised his head and barked at me "no I'm the manager now give me a minute"! I was completely is stunned and I'm sure my jaw dropped to the floor I had no words to say. I could not believe how unprofessional and rude he was to me. Then the guy that did my pedicure didn't even use the scrub on my feet or lotion my feet. I am a licensed cosmetologist and know the proper procedures for a pedicure. I can do it all at home myself but enjoy relaxing have having my feet rubbed by someone else. This was not the case this time. I paid for a pedicure so I can go home and fix it! Read Less

I have been going here for years and when i went on saturday. The guy that didnt do my pedi right. The nail polish is streaky and hw missed spots.im going to take it off and do it myself.. They're rude. Don't care about customer service experience at all and rush you in and out. "What color" and then told me she had to leave and couldn't do my nails after I waited for her to finish with someone else and I sat there while she counted her money in front of me then told me she wouldn't have time. I had the WORST experience here. Not only did the young man who did my toes have absolutely NO IDEA what he was doing, I sat at the drying station for 15 minutes without anyone checking on me! This was my first time here and will definitely be my last. The customer service was so poor to me. The other ladies next to us had great girls doing their toes, engaging conversation and actually know what they were doing. My toes don't look any better than when I first went in. I could've done them better myself. From now on I will stick to my home base nail salon and never ever ever come back here. How frustrating to spend almost 2 hours at a nail salon for a pedicure only!! And then when we walk out we see the people who did our toes sitting on their phones in the main walk of the mall. I would give this place negative stars if I could. The owner and workers are so unprofessional. I came in and they asked me what services I wanted. I told them a shellac mani and regular pedi. Things were going fine until she started putting on the polish. It was extremely streaky and I asked her why. Her response was to put on another coat, which didn't help. On top of that, they proceeded to tell me that they weren't going to give me a pedi because it was time to close. I told them if they couldn't fit me in they should've said so from the beginning. I then told the owner that I didn't like my nail polish and asked for it to be taken off. The owner and lady who did my nails started to talk about me in Vietnamese without knowing that I understood what they were saying. She even started calling me names and saying it was my fault that the polish didn't go on right. At that point I had enough and told her I understood everything and that she didn't know what she was doing. I have never been treated like this before at any other nail salons. Should've read the reviews before coming here. Came in around 8:30pm and the lady did not hide how annoyed she was that it was so close to closing time. I asked if it was possible and she said yes.. so she shouldn't complain, right?!  She ended up saying she has nothing to do at home anyways. She took me in and I felt it was really rushed. I had to pay first since it was so close to closing. $27 for a regular pedicure. The end job was very sloppy. If I wasn't 37 weeks pregnant I would've done my own nails! She did drip nail polish on my sandals and had to keep using Remover to fix the sloppy edges.. not happy. No more mall nail salons for me! Had bad experiences at both nail salons at southridge! Also, I felt the place was very messy with towels and debris everywhere. I really hope the nail tools are sanitized after every customer! I love Cyndi and her crew. She knows how to do my toes perfectly. My feet feel like a million bucks and I'm so relaxed when I leave. Been going to her for over 6 years now, wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. ... The first two times I went I was happy to have found a new place-the two men that did my nails took their time and they looked great. I went back this week Wednesday and girl rushed to get my nails done. My left hand has extra extra thick shellac in them and it is bubbly looking. *THE WORST NAIL EXPERIENCE EVER* I took my son for a manicure for his birthday because he is young and sweet and loves the pretty look of nails which are painted. The staff was snotty and kept asking if it was HIM that wanted to get his nails done. When I replied twice that yes, he would like to get his nails done, we were lead back to a nail tech who was beyond rude. Which then they asked twice more if it was him that wanted to get his nails done - I replied for him because he was about to cry, Yes, he would like to get his nails done and he has color all picked out - professionally and politely hoping they would stop the HOMOPHOBIC ATTITUDE. About five minutes into the manicure, the lady who was doing his nails asked him *VERY RUDELY* - ARE YOU A BOY? Never mind that he had a pin that said - "birthday boy" and had been referred to as HE by the same woman when asking if HE wanted his nails done. For a moment he was quiet, and then replied sadly, "Yes, I am a boy". I was SHOCKED AND HORRIFIED AT THE HOMOPHOBIC TREATMENT BY THE STAFF WHEN THE LADY THEN LAUGHED AT MY SON AND ELBOWED HER COWORKER NEXT TO HER. I spoke up for him and replied that "Yes, he's a beautiful boy who likes to have his nails done". The lady was quiet then but the atmosphere was terrible. I was at Southridge Mall with my husband just walking around. He wanted to go look at sports apparel in the sports stores so I decided to get a manicure and pedicure. I stopped in here and $35 for a manicure and pedicure got me hooked so I decided to do it. They got me in immediately and I love my nails. The guy (yes I mean guy) who did my nails was very friendly and very good.The water for the pedicure was warm - not too hot and not cold. I enjoyed the massaging chair as well.When it came time to do the manicure, he had me go to the station right across from where I had my pedicure done and he even carried my stuff over there for me.I was shocked when I read the other review. I am surprised by the negative reviews. I either got lucky with the person who did my nails or they got rid of the bad people working there. My friend and I went here to get mani and pedi. We set up an appointment and then had to wait anyway. The pedicure was done well but when it came to the manicure and shellack we got I am NOT happy. My friend had the worst customer service and the guy that did them was rude, rushed, and did a horrible job. Her nails chipped in 2 days. The lady who did mine was very very nice but it's been 4 days and mine is also chipping. We got the shellack manicure because it is supposed to last 3 weeks. Stopped for a manicure as a walk-in. They got me right in and had a lot of colors. The manicure looked good for when I walked out, but within a few hours started chipping.
