My sorta step dad had a pedicure there and his cuticles are all cut up! His pedicurist attempted several times to stop the bleeding.  He stated it really hurt compared to where he usually goes. When we got home I looked at them and was horrified! I immediately took pictures, then applied triple antibiotic ointment. Praying that he doesn't end up with an infection!!! Don't go here! I went here the day before my wedding since we were staying at the AmericInn nearby. I got a shellac French manicure and an acryllic? (Normal/traditional nailpolish) pedicure. Manicure: Three weeks later, the tips are still in tact and keep my hands looking like they have a French manicure! Of course the base of the nail is growing out and some of the neutral shellac is peeling, but the visible part, the white tips, are still going strong! As far as the experience: for the pedicure they put a hard-ish plastic covering into the water well where they put your feet. I choose to hope they sanitize those/buy new ones regularly to protect your feet from other people's fungus and bacteria. As far as longevity, my pedicure hasn't chipped at all, although I'm planning on repainting them because it has now been 23 days and a fresh coat would do them well. Overall, great experience! We had a bridal party come in, and they were able to accommodate all of us with what we wanted. My nails were done quickly and beautifully, which was a welcome surprise for me since I'm visiting from out of town. I got nail art on my fingers and toes, and shellac on my fingers. I'm very happy with how my nails were done. The gentleman who did my nails said he had 15 years of experience. This was obvious in his skill. Read Less

I don't complain especially about this stuff, by far though the worst. My manicure was painful with the cuticle clipper, so much that I could hardly have this person touch it. My hand never even was submerged in water for the actual manicure, my cuticles are all torn up they are still hanging. My shellac is cloudy and I have glue on the edges of my skin. I just spent money only for me to have to find someone to fix it. I will never go back. Read Less

I don't often get manicures or pedicures, maybe 3-4 times yearly, but when I do I know to go to VS Nails. They are always kind and their prices are VERY reasonable. I am a nurse so my hands take a beating from constant washing and harsh alcohol based sanitizer but they look and feel great- and the best part, their work lasts. They use quality supplies and welcome walk-ins. They take their time even if there are several people waiting. For the most part, the employees are quiet to add to the relaxing environment but they can also be engaging if you are in the mood for a good conversation. Read Less

Back with a nail salon update!  I previously shared my affection for World Nails and while I still like it, VS Nails is my new go-to.  The main reason is their basic pedicure (which is anything but basic) is just $16!  It includes all the bells and whistles of any nail salon pedi; soak, scrub, cuticle trimming, leg massage and of course polish but is almost ridiculously inexpensive.  I also prefer their polish selection to other local salons.  They have a great selection of Essie and OPI as well as other brands and seem to regularly get new colors as I notice the most recent OPI collection on the reception desk.  The salon is small with usually only a handful of employees so I suggest calling ahead for an appointment even if it's only earlier in the day.  The employees are friendly and they have tons of up-to-date magazines.  They also have a loyalty card where once you've gotten 5 pedicures, you get $5 off the sixth!  Pretty nice!  I heart VS Nails!
