I’ve been there 3 times and always tip! But the last time I was there the lady that did my pedicure looked like a three year old did them. No offense to three olds! But after I paid and sat down to dry my toes ,after ten minutes the man said you can go!! I’m like to myself okay and stayed there until my nails dried. Located in Glendale and very close to the bayshore mall, this is at a very convenient area for customers to come in. They have manicures and pedicures starting at reasonable rates and on Monday's they have a discount as well. I have done couple manicures here and have had fairly decent experience. The first time around was great but the second time around, the lady didn't quite understand simple things like I wanted the nails shaped round. She just filed them however she liked. Then I showed her how to do it and she got a hang of it. It could have been a language barrier too as I think she wasn't fluent in English. You almost always immediately find availability however I would recommend calling in before to check if there is one. Sometimes they have 10-15 Min wait, which is ok if you don't mind waiting, but in interest of time, it's helpful to call first. They offer you a beverage such as tea or water which is nice to sip on while u get pampered on. They have a huge nail color collection including gel.. the owner informs you if they have got new colors which is nice and keeps you interested in trying something new. I like to try the mood changing colors once in a while which adds so much fun to my nails. I would recommend people to come in on when they have specials and try new and exciting colors. Read Less

I've been going to Posh Nail for pedicures for years now and have always had a great experience. The team is very friendly and work to make sure the service you get is what you were seeking. The manager is very pleasant and helpful. Having lived in the area for years, I've tried many of the local nail salons, and this one is my first choice by far. Hmmm.  I think their name is a bit misleading... it is not a super posh place, but it is nice enough.  They offer you a tea or soft drink if you like (even root beer!!) and they have the push-button massage chairs for pedicures.  They also have an ample magazine selection so you can catch up on all of your celebrity news like I did!  I got my pedicure a month ago and it still looks great! :) My manicure from here didn't last as I had hoped, but alas, they never do no matter where I go! Awful service!  Got a gel manicure on Tuesday that totally peeled off by Thursday! I couldn't go back to have it fixed because I was leaving to go out of town on Friday, which is why I got the gel manicure in the first place! I called and spoke to the manager with the hopes of getting a credit to have another gel  manicure when I got back home. The manager refused! They have lost a customer. Terrible customer service! I've been to this place 4-5 times, and now it's my go-to place. Their gel/shellac manicures last longer than anywhere else I've been... Some of mine have lasted just short of 4 weeks! I have never experienced or witnessed any of their employees acting rudely or unprofessionally. All female nail techs that I have worked with have been friendly, and they do a really nice job. One time a male tech painted my fingernails while I was getting a pedicure, and that one was a little sloppy. Another time I was there, I asked last minute if my 7 year old could get her nails painted, and they were pleasant with her as well. The negative reviews here were surprising to me, because I've never left there less than 100% happy. Perhaps those employees no longer work there? Give this place a try. They do quality work, and their pricing is slightly less than other places. Only suggestion I have would be for them to tear out the carpeting and put in tile floors. The carpet looks kind of gross. Hannah was superb for the pedicure!I know a nail salon experience can vary drastically depending on who works in you... and I've had good and mediocre services at posh. Last time I was here I really wasn't too satisfied so I had gone somewhere else but decided to come in once again on a whim. I think I've found my to-go person. Hannah took her time, was gentle but still got all the calluses, and gave a kick a$$ massage. She didn't just roll her hands along as some people do (I understand you can get tired doing this all day, but I'm still a sucker for a nice firm massage) but pinpointed the good spots and had a firm hand. The nail polish went on right on the spot. I usually never have problems with the polish part since no one messes up with this. It's all the other little things in between. Took and hour and half to get acrylics soaked off and the service was terrible. The woman put my sister's hands in the acetone and just left us alone for an hour and 15 minutes. The nails had soaked off after 30 minutes but she wouldn't speak to us and was busy giving someone else a full manicure and eyebrows... Took my mother there for.a Mani/Pedi and the tech did a great job. The staff that seated us offered something to drink. As we waited my mom had water and my daughter and I had a soda each. Towards the end the manager can and scolded my daughter and I that yhe next time if we want soda we should ask. We explained that her staff offered the beverage and that she owed us an apology. She stated that she didn't owe us anything and that we shouldn't have had them. Her staff even stated that she did tell us and she still refused to apologize. She assumed that since we were brown people thatwe just go around taking stuff. When I mentioned that I would write this review her reply was "I don't care it's just fake news anyway". I've been to some very bad nail places and I have to say I'm very impressed with this one. They all spoke clear English, and were very nice to us! My woman had conversation with me the whole time which I really liked. The pedi was great, and the mani was too. I have no complaints. My nails look great! I've been going here for a few years for regular pedicures and infrequent shellac manicures. I've always had a really good experience. In reading these bad reviews, it's hard to imagine it's the same place. The staff and manager are always very nice, I've always been happy with the service, and my nails look good. I received a gift certificate from my mom for Posh for Christmas. I went online to check reviews and almost didn't go due to several really bad reviews. I decided to just give it a try and glad i did. I've gone twice now and both experiences were great. The employees including the manager were all wonderful. We were greeted in a friendly manner and seated promptly and offered drinks. Our nails look great. The manager was the and she was pleasant as well (i saw other reviews complaining about her). I've been a few times to this place. But the last time I went made me never want to go back.I liked this nail salon at first because the employees seemed nice, good ambiance and they did a decent job on my nails. But, at my most recent visit, one of the employees gets yelled at in front of patrons; my nail girl did a sloppy job on my nails. The final straw was that they quoted me one price, and I find out on my credit card statement that they charged me an additional $7 without telling me.  I gave my girl a cash tip too.I will not go back nor do I recommend this place to anyone. It's a well maintain place and my manicurist was sweet, but the service was lacking. She knew I was getting a full set and when she brought out the powder, liquid, and brush, she looked confused as to what to do next and was looking around the salon like she needed help. She continued to do my acrylics, and somehow managed to get acrylic all over every finger between the cuticle and knuckle (see pictures). She obviously realized it because she did a .5 second wipe of acetone on each finger, but if you know acrylic, you will know that just a little wipe will not remove it. You have to soak it for a long time. I have been painfully ripping acrylic off of my skin for the past 2 days. Not to mention that the sides of multiple nails are jagged, which could have been easily fixed with a file, which didn't happen. I'm happy with the color and polish job, but thats about it. I got my nails done 2 days ago, and my nail beds are still sore, which has never happened in my 20+ times of getting acrylics. I have never been to this salon before, but stopped in since they had a 15% off of any service special. Needless to say I will not be returning here. Read Less

A friend and I came to get our nails done and at first everything was going well..until it wasn't. They initially set me up in a big comfy chair and 2 nail techs started working on my nails- one doing the pedicure, the other doing my manicure. At that point, I was ready to give them a full 5 stars because everything seemed to be going efficiently and in my book, efficient gets rave reviews.So as someone worked on my toes, I picked out my gel color. After I picked out my color, they set the machine up on my lap. The nail tech working on my manicure cleaned my nails but then he ended up disappearing. So here I am with a clunky machine on my lap...waiting. My pedi got done and I was still just...waiting. Eventually, someone came to finish my mani but she was pretty slow and even though I wasn't super satisfied with my mani, I was too tired to fight it. Although I am a sucker for a good deal and paying $53 for a mani pedi is pretty decent, the service simply wasn't good enough for me to come back. Read Less

I wanted to love it.  But not sooo much.  After a bad experience at lyly nails,  I thought I'd give this place a whirl. The pedicure was so-so. My polish literally chipped the next day. The water was SCALDING HOT. No bueno. She also did my nails.  She wasn't very good.  She made them WAY too thick.  Not only that,  but she left all the gunk underneath them.  It looked horrible. And watch their pricing. What it says on the board,  and what they charge you are two different things.  I asked them about it,  and suddenly the girl didn't speak very good English.  I had already been there 2 1/2 hrs and just wanted to go.  They look nice on the outside and inside, but their prices are sketchy and their services are bad. Nice and clean and friendly, but the nail tech, though sweet, was not very good. She zapped me a few times with the dremmel tool, and I had a lot of excess gloop on my hands after the fill-in. Her shaping and polishing were not so great. I'm only in town for a visit, but if I were at home, I'd have immediately gotten out my remover and re-done the whole polish job. I did ask her to fix the worst one, which was bubbling up, and she re-painted, but it still looks not so hot. Clean.  Nice polish selection.  No up charge for OPI's Infinite Shine.  I have only visited once, but my nail tech did a very nice job with great attention to detail.  Prices are standard for Milwaukee.  $15 for a regular mani.ETA (9/09/15) I've been back at least twice.  On my last visit I met the infamous Gloria.  She is off the chain: funny, efficient & friendly.  Great pedicure.  I've also had the combo mani/pedi by a younger man--who did an AWESOME job!  I've noticed that the service time is longer than other nail salons I've visited; however, make sure you visit on a Monday or Tuesday for 15% off--a great deal. Stopped in here while visiting my mom.  I chipped my nail helping her with some stuff around the house and came in here in to fix it.  Mind you my nails where done at home in Denver so I just assumed I would have to redo my shellac but the nail tech helped me find the nearest shade(which matched 99.999% mind you) and she took care of the issue and it looks fabulous.
