I went here a couple of times and liked my nails. After about the second time I went is when the bad customer service started happening. The first incident was when I asked for an orange peel pedicure and the nail tech did not put orange slices on my legs as she should have. I asked her why she didn’t do it and she stated that she did, which was not the truth. So I explained that I would need to be discounted because she did not complete the full pedicure. She said ok and when I went to get my full set done the tech asked for the full price. I explained to her what happened and she asked the tech what happened and she lied and said she did it. So the tech (Sally) stated that I would have to pay full price. Then the very next time I came in to get a full set and pedicure, the guy at the front desk asked me what I wanted done and left me there for about 15 minutes. I came in at 7pm and waited until 7:15pm before anyone said anything else to me. I told Sally that I was waiting for a full set and pedicure and she looked at the clock and said no one is available to do your full set, but we can do your pedicure. Just horrible!!!! I took my daughter in to get her nails done for her birthday......let's just say I could have let my five year old do what they did; and then to expect me to to pay $80 for some nails that were all differently shapes and lengths.... My nails are all different lengths and some are square skinny and square round. He obviously didn't know what he was doing after I directed him. He didn't use a base coat. The acrylic isn't applied evenly. Terrible experience! Read Less

I came as a walk-in today and was told that there'd be a 30 min wait for a nail fill...okay, cool. Towards the 30 min mark a woman who I assume is the owner/boss tells me only 3 out of 7282 techs in the place know how to so nails so I would have to wait for the next available one. An hour and 15 min later, I am leaving with undone nails. A teen helper took my polish off during the wait so now my nails look worse than when I came. Never again... Read Less

This salon is neat and tidy, but that is where its positive attributes end. I brought my own gel polish, because my constant typing is hard on my nails. In case of a chip, I like to repair my own manicure, as I do not have the time to run to the salon. Even after assuring the technician three times that the gel purchased at a reputable beauty supply store would work under an LED/UV light, she continued to question me and talk to her co-worker about it. She repeatedly tried to convince me to use one of the salon's gel polishes, after I made it clear that I wanted to use my own. Shortly thereafter, when I asked for nails as short as possible (which she did not do), I requested that she shorten my nails even further, and twice she asked why I would want to do this, and proceeded to tell me that my short nails were boring. Perhaps technicians at this salon should focus on what clients want, and keep their opinions to themselves. I don't care for my long drive to my former salon, but it's worth it to be treated with respect. I will never return to LyLy's Bayshore. Read Less

Came here one time because I was desperate to get my nails done. Jokes me because it seems even when I'm desperate, I'm better off going somewhere else. Ick....ick...ick....describes this place.  It is very dingy and seriously needs an update. You think Bay Shore and luxury comes to mind.  However, this is NOT your experience. There are chairs with cracked leather, tables with missing parts and a pedicure drying table that could take out your toes.When you see them using tub liners for pedicures because it is "more sanitary" it means they don't want to clean much.   The liners feel very weird on your toes.  The chairs are decent but get rid of the liners!I had a pedicure and they put me under the feet dryer.  Unfortunately they had an office chair sitting near with the legs underneath the dryer.  I bumped my toes on it because the drying area was so small. They did fix my nails but seriously WTF?If this place was dirt cheap I might understand it but they charge the same price as other places that are much nicer.  I don't get the draw and the pricing so maybe somebody can explain this to me. We came here to celebrate my friend's wedding and we were all highly satisfied!Mike did an awesome job on my mani/pedi! He was gentle, calm, and patient. I felt at ease the entire time and loved the whole experience. I never want to get my hands and feet done because I've been hurt before but this experience reminded me that some people know what they are doing.Highly recommend this place! They are simply amazing and have the beat service ever!! I have been to many nail shops that have promised me "good and professional" service but none like here. They make sure their customers are treated fairly and are completely satisfied. I came in my first time here my nails were completely chipped, broken, falling off, and they fixed the impossible, lbs.
