I called and asked if they could accommodate 4 girls for mani’s and pedis that evening. They said yes and we set up at time of 5:45. They called me and asked me to come in early. We arrived at 5:15. They only had 2 people working! I was not anticipating spending twice the amount of time there and we were on a schedule. The 2 workers were rushed and my daughter said her pedicure was painful. She was filing and really rough about it. I was watching and I feel they did a crappy job. They charged me adult prices for my Little’s girls pedi. I ended up going the next day for myself to platinum nails in Muskego and they charged me $54 for a mani and pedi compared to Glitz’s price off $62. The experience was much better! They even offered me a glass of wine! I would go there in a heartbeat again. I do not recommend Glitz at all. Read Less

I’m a nail tech I don’t like leaving bad reviews but this I had to leave....I know the difference in chemicals used on nails. I asked the owner if they used MMA. Which is illegal for nail use. It’s the liquid you use for acrylic nails. He told me no...this is what we use and just showed me a no labeled bottle. I wanted to get my nails removed and start fresh. So we started to remove. And bingo!! MMA reared it’s ugly head. When you soak MMA Off it get all shiny and is very difficult to get off. Regular acrylic it get very gummy and is easy to remove after soaking. The nail technicians that work here are all wonderful. I keep coming back because everyone is so friendly and talented. Its very clean and doesn't have that strong odor that I've smelled in other salons. They offer a wide variety of services at great prices, any nail color you could dream of and they are always on top of the newest trends. I had been here over a year ago and due to arrogant young owner decided not to go again... however one Sunday I was desperate for a fill and they were the only ones open so I decided to give it another shot. Happily surprised and glad I did. The place is under new ownership, from a young couple who are very kind and dedicated. They take their time, listen to your needs and requests. And are very creative and willing to do  designs and time-consuming art that other places won't. They are always concerned you like their work and that it will last. If you haven't been or had a bad experience like me in the past....I would definitely give it another shot! Read Less

Walked in on a Sunday with my daughter and niece. They were able to accommodate all three of us getting a pedicure together. They were super sweet and talkative to my 7 year old. They did an awesome job and are super friendly as always! Read Less

I had been going to Glitz for years, recently went in to have my acrylic soaked off my really nails and fresh stuff put back on, before they even started soaking the tech began to clip them inturns breaking my nails! Very upset and I will never go back because they have now ruined my nails. Also when i called to see what they could do for me the tech was extremely rude! Read Less

Everyone is very nice and salon is clean and has a cool décor.  My shellac nail polish lasts at least 2 weeks.  (If I am careful and don't use my nails as 'tools' to clean my stove!)  I get a manicure once a month and a polish change two weeks after.  Prices are OK and they have a discount if you pay cash.  They also have a punch card to work toward an additional discount.  I have no problems with any of these details.Sadly, I will not be going there any longer because I just got tired of my nail tech being more interested in her phone than in doing my nails and talking to me.  I kid you not, she must check her phone at least 10 times WHILE she is doing my nails.  Maybe I am 'old school', since I am over 50 years old, but I just don't understand the addiction to a cell phone WHILE WORKING  on the job.  PUT IT AWAY until you no longer have a customer.  TALK to people and LOOK at their face when doing so, not with one eye on your phone!   If you are another 'addicted phone user', you probably won't mind, but I am done!  You lost a customer Glitz Nail Boutique.  I will spend my $50+ a month elsewhere.  I found a nail salon that takes care of ME first and the nail tech I had did look at her phone but it was AFTER my manicure was complete and I had paid and tipped her. Nice salon, but not so great selection on regular full bottles of nail polish. When they first opened you were offered a water or soda now nothing. Don't expect the 5% off for paying cash, I don't know why they advertise that. So much for punch card I talked to the tech about it and never received it. Read Less

Overall, very nice salon. Clean, prompt service, big color selection of name brand products. I've been here twice and had a different tech each time. I like nail designs. The first time I came, tech #1 who did my design didn't quite do what I wanted, but my nails were still pretty. This time, I brought a picture of what I wanted and tech #2 pretty much matched the picture (with the exception of not using a glitter polish for the highlight of my design because the manager (?) didn't tell her to.  It seemed pretty obvious in the picture that I provided. My only thing is that, for promoting nail designs as they do on their Facebook page, I have felt like I'm asking too much, like it's an inconvenience. I knew that the highlight should have been done in red glitter polish, but I was afraid to mention it - that's what I mean when I say that it feels like an inconvenience.  I will add that I provided a link to an image of the design that I wanted when I booked my appointment online - I thought that would help to give them time to prepare (at least mentally). The other thing is that they have a stamp card that earns a $5 discount when filled. I didn't get one the first time I was in, so I asked for one today. When she stamped it (ended up being tech #1 who took my payment for my second visit), I asked if I could have a stamp for the first time I was in two weeks ago in addition to today's stamp.  She said "No". No reason why, just "No". :-/I intend to come back because I like the salon and want to give them a good chance. Maybe when I'm more of a "regular", I will have better experience with talking about designs. They treat their regulars better. My real rating is 3.5 stars. Read Less

After paying $48 for a Shellac Manicure, my nails lasted 10 days before they completely started peeling off. I was told they would last 2-3 weeks, so I went in to see if they would fix them and I was then told that Shellac Manicures can last up to only 10 days. I will not be going back to Glitz again and would suggest people to go somewhere else for a better quality manicure and pay a lower price. Read Less

Very pricey however the person who did my nails was super nice and kept me laughing! Probably one of the nicest nail techs I've had. That being said I received a gel manicure and on the 5th day my nails were already chipping. I've had many (other places) and they always last about 3 weeks.  For the price I'm really bummed they didn't last. I would have definately went back. Maybe it was the gel brand.... Read Less

I tried Glitz because I really needed the acrylic nails I had put on for my wedding taken off (they were driving me nuts), it is close to my house, and was reasonably priced based on a glance at their website. The decor inside the salon is nice; clean, and recently remodeled. The website is attractive, clearly laid out and provides all the pricing information for you prior to going into the salon, which I really appreciate. I made an appointment, and when I got there, I only had to wait a few minutes before being set to soak my hands in acetone (which is what they use to soften the acrylic nail before removing it). The technician who took them off was fairly quiet, but friendly. She was very gentle with sander used to remove the acrylic nails, and it didn't hurt at all. Based on my experience, I would definitely return here to try other services like a spa pedicure or shellac manicure. Read Less

I have been going here for quite a while now.  I really love it here and the staff are friendly and great.  I have been to many other nail salons and yes they may be cheaper in some things, but the quality and service is nowhere comparable.  I love going in and being able to conversate with them and they understand what i want done and are very understanding.  Anytime i go in, there is nothing but compassion and great customer service.  I always go to get my nails filled/ painted and usually a pedicure.  Love how modern and up to date it is there.  =) Read Less

Glitz is hands down the very best experience I have ever had as far as nail services go. I am not one to write a review unless I was absolutely mortified or if i was really impressed and I was quite impressed with my mani and pedi that Kathy provided. I am a hairstylist and do nails myself and when its my turn to be on the other side of a service i expect the best cause thats what i feel i do for my customers. I got a Spa Mandrin-Honey pedicure and it was wonderful and Kathy gave a great massage, i didnt feel like she was ruhsing to get me done at all and really took care of my stressed feet. I have never found a nail person that i kept going back to because they were just okay, but i will say i will be back to this girl as much as i can. The place was cute and relaxing, great massage chairs, had a wide variety of colors including the newer collections, and i was serviced right away. My only complaint is I called to make an appointment and i had to call a few times before the phone was answered. Im glad i got this place recommended to me. Definitely see Kathy Read Less
