I am getting married this Saturday and I had a nail disaster. I went to my regular salon to get a manicure and they looked AWFUL, even after I said they were for my wedding. This place is TERRIBLE! Horrible service. The girl was on her phone the entire time and was RUDE. My nails look awful. THEN sat for 15 min with cold water waiting for a pedicure. HORRIBLE. I have gone here twice. They practically ripped my acrylics off. Then when I went back to get my shellac off (which the person went in the back to eat and play on her phone for a half hour while soaking the polish off, I may add) and get a new polish on, my nails were smudged and the polish just looked god awful because it was so bubbly. Every time I take my girlfriend there to get nails and eyebrows done they say their credit card machine is down, that they would need cash. Worker said their internet was the problem even when there were full bars on their Wifi. Another customer waiting said the same thing happens to them every time which is an inconvenience to us all. No one was friendly and very expensive when compared to other salons in the area. There were a lot of flies buzzing around.  Even with an appointment, one of us had our feet in the ( cold) water for 40 min.  When we were paying, they asked for 'only cash' and asked if that amount was for all three of us (meaning that the tip wasn't enough). This place is anything but happy. No one smiled or even said anything else than asking what I want. Anytime I would put my hand or foot in the wrong place they would just slap it down, not saying a word. They are extremely slow. Anyone who had a reservation had to wait so I'm not sure it's even worth it to call ahead. The massages were not given with any "umphh"... Just mindlessly rubbing their hands up and down.   The guy who did my no chip nails did a poor job where paint hardened on my cuticles.  He also kept putting nail polish remover over a cut that i had. I've been going here since they opened and will no longer go back. Michelle, the owner, has been very rude lately. Not the slightest bit friendly. I had to spend all of my pedicure listening to ridiculous stories about Sandy's personal life and hear her complain about not getting good tips. Also, be careful if you pay with credit card. I had a pedicure and manicure, and they did an excellent job. I got the shellac manicure for the first time and was very impressed with how long it lasted. Got it re-done elsewhere, and it wasn't nearly as good. They were very busy on a Tuesday, which is indicative of how good they are. Read Less

While most salons in town do a quality job, I don't mind waiting for service at Happy Nails. I feel like a valued customer and friend, even though I do not know anyone there outside my occasional manicure visits. Michelle, the owner, makes it a point to get to know her customers. I love it here. The shop is brand new, it's so clean and simple and elegant. The staffs are so nice and kind, the one in the front speaks fluent english - no trouble understanding her. She was very nice. I highly recommend to everyone. Read Less
