Apperances are deceiving. This place is amazing - best pedicure I have had in a long time. Sea salt, paraffin, a thorough massage, and $30! Really a great little shop.  Prices are very reasonable for Madison - I had a mani and pedi with a paraffin wax dip for $45.  The staff is funny and attentive.  You can tell they value their regulars.  Was one of my first experiences with these services, and I'll be going back. Read Less

Great job on my nails! Fast, clean, and friendly! I get acrylics with gel polish and the price was the same as my home nail salon which is cheaper than most places. They have a large selection of colors too. I was staying at the candlewood suites so I was able to walk there, which was super convenient . I would definitely recommend them!! Read Less

I love this place. Excellent service with wonderful staff! They give one of the best pedicures I've ever had. They can also always squeeze me in at the last minute. This has to be the best shellac manicure that I have ever had. Both my mother and I went to get manicures and have been very happy with the result. No chipping, cracking or peeling away from my nail and it has been three weeks. I could keep them longer without having to go in except for my nails are growing otherwise they're in my opinion; perfect. I will be going back for sure! Read Less

I just started working 3 miles from Kim's Nails. I looked them up because I needed a major pedicure and eyebrow wax I was looking not so hot :-) I arrived 20 minutes before they closed I asked them for a pedicure and eyebrow wax, they looked at me and noticed my desperate face..They took me in!:) Folks one of the best pedicures Madison wide an amazing price and they were very attentive and not in a hurry at all! I brought my granddaughter and a friend of hers in for pedicures today. I come here regularly for my own pedicures. The staff are always very kind and do a great job. I like the color selection, the ease of access, and the quality of service.I wish the staff would speak English to the customers more. While I enjoy watching the exchange between them in their native tongue I feel like the intimacy of getting a pedicure warrants more dialogue, but maybe other people won't have the same need. I got a shellac manicure here and it has been the best shellac I've had. The shellac lasted me 3 weeks and the work was wonderful, with my nails nicely trimmed and cuticles taken care of. It certainly is no-chip as they state. Only reason for my 4 star: i question their supplies and cleanliness. The cuticle lotion was watered down and no alcohol was used at all until the end. Maybe it was missed by accident? I will return for my future manicures and see if cleanliness is different, and do recommend this to others. Rosa was my nail tech and I do recommend her. Read Less

I recommend going here for pedicures (parrafin wax treatment included and nice massage!) but I will not go back for shellac manicures. Too much cutting of the cuticles, the polish job started after my lunula (white crescent shaped area at the base) so it looked like I had gotten the manicure a week ago, and the polish is already starting to chip off just a week later. This is disappointing because the people are nice and pedicures are very good. Read Less

EDIT: Went back in on 10/4 and my gel manicure was chipped in a few days. It's now two weeks later and every finger is chipped and peeling and my pedicure is in pretty rough shape too. Same me, same salon, but my last mani/pedi with them lasted 3+ weeks with no chips and this one was destroyed within a week.4.5 stars and they give a 'cash discount'I love my gel manicure and spa pedicure! Lee and her daughter were very nice, Lee and I had a wonderful chat, and they were so accommodating - bringing me color options to pick from so they could start my pedicure right away. I did a color changing gel for my fingers and a dark glitter for my toes. 60 for the service, and definitely worth it. I got a punch card and will be back for certain! The only reason I took off a star had to do with cuticle removal. She was extremely diligent with it on my toes, but she did cut me 3x. It stung but the antiseptic/vasoconstrictor solution they have took care of it with no problems. It doesn't bother me so much, but felt I couldn't rightfully give a full 5 stars because I know it bothers others tremendously. Read Less

My third visit to Kim's Nails and I have to sing their praises.  I had a mani pedi.  They are reasonably priced and give a discount for cash.  They listen to me when I say don't cut my cuticles instead of ignoring me and saying just a little like some other places.   The best part of Kim's is they take the time to give a good hand and foot massage.  As far as I'm concerned,  that is the only reason to go to a salon.  I can paint my nails myself.  A bad or excessively fast massage is a deal breaker for me.  So go to Kim's.  If you tried them just after they switched from Just Nails and were unhappy,  try again.   Prices are lower than Just Nails were and they have great customer service. Just Nails has changed their name to Kim's Nails. They're under new ownership and I couldn't be happier.  Rose, formerly at TC Nails, is now here. I had a shellac manicure and am very satisfied. It lasts at least 3 weeks!  Pedicures are also amazing. The hot wax is included in the price. Very relaxing. Everything is extremely clean and sanitary and the technicians provide top notch service.
