Natalie did my nails today when I went out with a friend to get acrylics. I wanted coffin shaped nails and I've heard that if you want any other shape besides square there will be an additional cost. When I mentioned this, Natalie recommended that I get gel polish because gel acrylics won't have an additional price for different shaped nails whereas regular polish does. She was very sweet and patient with me and took her time!! She checked my nails over and over again to make sure they weren't crooked, uneven, etc. She shaped them to perfection and I couldn't be happier! I highly recommend and I will be back because of the amazing customer service and not to mention their prices are very reasonable (gel acrylics w/ a different shape were $40 for me not including the tip!) I’ve had acrylics on my nails for over a year now and this is the cheapest place I have found to get my fills. Sometimes they aren’t the greatest but I’ve had bad experiences at other shops also so I know it’s not just this shop that makes mistakes. They’re always very friendly to me and make sure I am happy with what I’ve got before I leave. DO NOT GO HERE. Paid $90 for three extremely subpar pedicures. Did not adjust due to my feedback during the pedi. The man I had, pressed his thumbs hard into my ankle and forcefully put my feet up and down. It was uneven between feet and each person did not get the same service. I even brought one woman over after to show her the callus still on my foot, and she argued with me. Terrible service. Was charged $5 extra for sparkle nail polish that was old and goopy. I love V &V! I come into the salon about once a month! I never leave unhappy! If I am displeased with my color or the outcome of my nails, all the technicians are willing to fix them! I’ve gone to the mall on several occasions and they always left me feeling rushed, not relaxed, and horribly guilty when wanting my nails fixed , that I am so happy to have found this place! Last Friday, me and my sister took our 4 kids there for the first time. The services were friendly enough, but i felt like they rushed my sister's nails a bit and wasn't as long as she would like. My nail service was good, my nail tech did scrub a little too hard and one of my fingers started bleeding. Other then my tech being a little rough, i love my end results. The price I paid for the services were a bit over priced especailly for our daughters. Out of our four daughters, one of them only got gel colors yet for 6 of us pedi and mani as $340 that's without tips. Too overly priced. Being that my two nieces were only 12 and under which was supposed to be $30 bucks each with $15 more for my niece that had gel nail polish. So all in all, it was an okay experience. Read Less

I will NEVER go here for a manicure again. Only have 3 stars because they are great for a pedicure. DO NOT get a manicure there. I should not have had to immediately greet three nail polish off when I get home, but the colored tips I paid extra for looked terrible. I needed to refile my nails because the edges were jagged. Once I got the polish off, I found that even some of the sides were jagged. Half my nails' shape is so screwed up it'll be about a month for my nails to ...look nice again after they grow more. I love this nail salon. I went here for the first time about 2 months ago and loved it right away. They have so many colors to chose from way more than any other salon I've been to , and their price is lower that the salon I previously went to. I always go to Vince. I had a pedi and mani last Monday afternoon. By Wednesday the polish (not gel) was already off of half my fingernails. The young man who took care of my services was outside smoking and on his cell phone before my polish was even dry. I don't plan on returning. I paid $30 for a gel fill. The manicurist was clearly in a hurry since he abrubtly jerked my hands around..and after my nails looked fine, for some reason he filed the middle ones again. I left and immediately saw that both nails had chipped polish! I had to touch them up myself! Unacceptable for that price. Read Less

Decided to try a new place with a friend. My water was luke warm at best. I felt the guy I had rushed through everything including my polish. Even though he rushed, my nails looked really good initially. I didn't make it 24 hours before my polish started coming off. Ridiculous! Never again and i will spread the word. Don't do it! Pressured to get a full manicure when I told them I only had time for a gel polish change... Then I was given like 2 minutes to decide on a color. The guy I had tried to talk to me, but I couldn't understand a word he said for the life of me. I've done a lot of traveling, so I would say that I'm pretty good with understanding accents and stuff but he was mumbling so much. Then he would pick up his phone and text in the middle of working on my nails. Didn't file my nails well at all and I have dried gel polish hanging off creating a really rough edge. He also was rushing so much that he didn't let my polish dry properly between coats and he ended up denting one of them (which I didn't notice until I left.) Overall really sloppy thick coats. The last 3 visits have not been the best. Been rushed, leg massage was just about nothing. The nipping of the cuticle this last time hurt so bad, and when I flinched and said ow, the gal said, oh did that hurt. Bloody toe should have been a hint. I showed her my acrylics I got done the other day from v&v the color changing nails. That was a mistake because I felt like she forced me to post a pic of them on their fb page and rate them well. I should not be told to do that, it should be something I want to do. And then she took my phone and took like 10 pictures of my nails on MY own phone. Horrible service on two different days. Today was my first time going to V&V nails, I won't lie, I was a little nervous, since I read some pretty bad reviews about the place, but more good out weighed the bad. So I decided to give it a shot! And I don't regret a single thing! The cheapest place to get acrylics in my opinion, and I got matte on my nails which most places charge an extra $10-15 for! My total was $45 which is pretty good for only having to be there for a tops of maybe 15-20mins with a beautiful manicure and excellent, friendly service! Read Less

I wouldn't even give this place a star because my nails are such garbage. The woman who did my nails was clearly in a rush to leave and did my entire set in 30 minutes. I asked for long coffin-shaped acrylics and got short, THIN and pointy. They look TERRIBLE and I'm actually embarrassed to even show my hands in public. I was in with a group of 7 on a Sunday. 5 of us received Pedicures and 2 were Manicures. The gal doing my gel manicure was nice. The polish I chose was a pink glitter and she tried a sample on her own nail so I could see how it applied which was sparsely (not as the sample shown in display).She could tell I didn't want that look and said we would do 2 coats.I was very happy with that. She worked quickly, I started mine after my friends pedicure's and was done before the pedic...ures. My polish looked beautiful. She ended up applying three coats to give the look I wanted. One nail had 4 coats because I smudged it in the LED light which she fixed promptly. I was extremely satisfied with this aspect of her work and my overall experience. I felt all the mani's and pedi's looked gorgeous when complete. One of the Pedi gals had a heart hand-drawn on top of her polish which looked perfect. I thought it was a stencil. The reason I did not give higher than 3 stars: 1 - It didn't appear the tools were sanitized/disinfected that were used during my mani. The cuticle trimmer was pulled out of her drawer and didn't appear to have been sanitized. The nail file, electric bit, and buffer were not new nor clean. However, all the Pedi gals confirmed they had brand new trays pulled out which were new/sanitized items. 2 - Some of my friends pedicure water was cold. 3 - One of the pedicure gals had a chunk of skin taken off her toe during her pedi. It bled quite a bit. The gentleman doing her pedi was going to continue scrubbing the injured area until my friend told him "no more of that". The salon did offer her pedicure free of charge and applied band-aids twice as it bled through. The salon staff, in my opinion, genuinely felt bad this happened. Accidents do happen.
