I have been coming here once a month for over 3 years. I have always been really happy with my nails and the service I have received. Until today. I had my nails done 1 week ago. For the design I wanted the lady had to do a white base then apply the blue on top, otherwise you could not see the blue due to the nails being painted black. It looked awesome for the first 2 days. On Saturday the blue started to fade. Now instead of having a blue stripe across my nails, it's a blueish, purplish and whitish stripe. To note the lady had to do a white base under the pink design I had done on 2 of the nails and that still looks perfect. I went in today to have them fix it. The guy wanted to charge me to fix it. I don't believe I should be charged to fix what wasn't my fault. I'm thinking it was bad polish or something. Not sure if I'll be going back or not. I miss the old owners. Read Less

Very upset right now I had to call 3 different numbers in order to find out what a manicure would cost with a coat of acrylic put on because my nails are very soft. They gave me a price but before I could make an appointment the woman set the phone down and waited on customers coming into the place . I yelled out HELLO but did not get an answer should have known this is a bad place with calling 3 phone numbers before getting an answer,very rude of this company.I will keep trying to get through so I can talk to the manager. I had the worst experience at Tips and Toes. I had an appointment for two, with the intention that we would be together. The staff working acted like we were bothering them when we asked to be together. I had a younger gentlemen doing my nails. He made me feel extremely uncomfortable with things he was saying. For example: "if you mess up your nails I will kill your friend." SO WRONG. He also embarrassed me in the salon by telling me I had no idea how to hold my hands under the lamp (little does he know I study this as well). Was recommended to come here to do my nails by another salon. Got my nails done and they look really pretty! The guy that did my nails did a great job and gave me free design on my nails as u can see in my pics. I'd recommend going to this store for their great services. I went in for a fill as I normally do and had an appointment at 10, I was there a bit early and waited for 15 minutes for Ben. I understand that they sometimes run behind. Ben filled my nails and it was awful. You can see where the fake nails have end and my nails have grown out. I asked why this was and was told I needed to ask for a specific type of powder to be used. Never in all my time have had too ask for a specific type of fill. My nails look awful, I was asked what could be done about it and he kept asking me what I wanted too do about. He was still going to charge me for the fill when I finally said I should not be charged for the awful job that was done. I will never go back there again. I miss Steven,he was great. Steven and Kim do not work at this nail salon anymore and the quality of the work has gone down since. I went in for a gel manicure today and was specific as to what I wanted the woman gave me the opposite of what I wanted. I had let my nails grow so I could get a perfect manicure and now they're shorter than they were when I entered. I am extremely frustrated and will not be returning! Read Less

Had such a great experience here today!! Very clean and comfortable atmosphere. I asked for coffin shaped nails but the woman doing mine wasn't 100% on how to do that - she started it and then the man who might have been the owner finished it. I recently moved to Eau Claire from Hudson. I use to go to TJNails in Woodbury where I'd pay $65 for gel nails! Yeah, I know... OUCH! They did a good job on my nails but it wasn't worth 65 bucks! So when I moved here I was forced to adapt. I tried 2 salons before Tips and Toes. I wasn't impressed and to top it off, I went to cosmetology school, they didn't follow state law and the woman at one salon argued with me on the shape I wanted! So my 3rd nail job in Eau Claire was at... Tips and Toes. I was so happy with the job they did on my gel and acrylic that I will be a forever customer! I get the same guy every time and I always just walk in. I have never made a appt. When I walk he knows I'll wait for him if he's busy.
