Asked for acrylic/fake nails. About half way through I realized she was not giving me acrylic nails. I spoke up and said something and she claims that acrylic nails just mean that your nails are painted? So she finally gave me what I wanted and charged me $70 when they are usually around $40. OUCH! I'm one who doesn't have much for nails #nailbiter but I love to get pedicures. My mom took me out for mani/pedi on my birthday. First manicure and probably last. He pulled out so much of my skin on my finger that it was bleeding like a stuck pig. He couldn't get it to stop, then a girl came over and she couldn't get it to stop. I think they spent more time trying to get my finger to stop bleeding than anything else that day. Don't get me wrong the guy was friendly and sociable but what an experience. Needless to say they never did finish my mani and we still paid full price and in the end.....my finger ended up getting infected. It was horrible! Took two months to heal up and the pain subsided but what a horrible way to spend your birthday, huh?! I'll try to find a picture of my finger to post, I'm sure I got one somewhere along the way.... What an all around awful experience. I didn't see the colors I wanted in the gel polish samples so I showed the lady the colors in a photo (attached) and asked her if they had them. She told me to look in the basket. I explained that I didn't see them and that I hoped she would know what would be similar. She yelled at me and stated, "You've been sitting over there for a long time, you should have picked them out by now." I asked her not to yell at me. I requested a full acrylic set, almond shaped and she cut them very short and then tried to make them almond shaped and told me it was my fault for not telling her to make them longer. Every nail is pointing significantly to the right, and when I pointed it out she kept filing more off the wrong side making them even more right slanted. I am going to another salon to have them soaked off and a new set put on. What a disappointment. After all this she charges me $45 and then tells me my card 'might' have been charged twice, and told me to check with my bank and come back if that was the case. Went to Happy Nails for the first time today and I was SO impressed with my nail technician. Kim got me in for an acrylic fill with no wait time at all. She made sure the gel polish I picked out was exactly the color I wanted/ matched the sample. I’m most impressed with the care and percision she had with the shape of my nail right from my cuticles to the arch, to smoothing out my actual nail underneath/ around the edges of the acrylics. The length is perfect and didn’t question my preference (my nails are very long) unlike other salons I’ve been to. I had a broken nail which she worked with very gently too! Very unhappy customer, the lady who did my pedicure thought I had gel polish on my toenails and took a Drexel tool to my nails causing extreme pain the I unconsciously said what the phk out loud and I then said why are you doing this and not just using a normal buffer? She apologized then used the regular buffer but the damage has been done. She hurried through my pedicure and quickly splashed on a top coat. Honestly looks horrible. Read Less

This was the absolute most horrible experience I have ever had anywhere!!! First I asked if there was a wait, they said no I asked if they do the dip nails, they said yes, no I picked a color and proceeded to wait. Once I sat down the nail tech started to dremel my nails and then stopped and asked the lady in their native language something which I did not understand. Then he stopped and left me waiting there. After 10 minutes or so the lady came and sat down and told me that she did not have time to do the dip nails so I would have to have a refill and then come back again to do the dip. So with half dremeled Nails I decided to go with the refill and hopefully get out of there as soon as possible. She proceeded to murder my nails with a Dremel tool and I asked her to be gentle but she continued on and then when it came to shaping my nails she handed me the file and told me to shape them myself!!! She said she could not do the shape i was asking for so I needed to do it myself! I thought she was joking, then she handed me the file and walked away! Stunned, I sat there wondering if this was real. I did one nail so she could see what i was asking for and then I was thinking that she would do the rest because that is what I am paying her to do but apparently I was wrong and she told me that I needed to do all of my fingers. I was so completely shocked I almost got up and walked out but I really didn't have the time to go to another place so I proceeded to do all of my nails and then she painted to sloppy coats of polish on. As I left still in awe of what at actually happened I noticed that one of my nails had already chipped just from reaching into my purse and then within another 5 minutes another nail had tripped so now I will have to go to another place and get them done again. Beware don't ever ever ever go to this place if you want any decent kind of nails I still cannot believe the horrible service that I received and what a terrible job they did well half a job because I had to do half the job myself. I went to Happy Nails to get a simple black gel polish and acrylics. I came out with nails that had bubbles of wet polish under the top coat and sore fingertips. I went back in because one nail exploded and got gel polish all over, and even after they fixed it, I've noticed that there's still bubbling there. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking to get a nail job that'll look good and last awhile. Read Less

It's fine if you are in a pinch and cannot get to your regular place, but I got my nails done on a Saturday and they barely lasted until the following Saturday. My top coat chipped and now the acrylic is chipping. I can only think cheap paint and acrylic powder. It's the same price at my regular place and they last much longer. (Price is not what you pay for here). It looks and feels like Walmart quality material. Plus they shuffled me around. The guy that started my nails did not finish them. My mom and I came in to Happy Nails for services today. It was our first time here. We both had pedicures and my mom also got a manicure. Amanda did my pedicure and WOW, she did an amazing job!! She was meticulous with cleaning up my nails and she gave a great leg massage. And on top of that, my polish looked great. The prices were very reasonable, the employees friendly and attentive. Never goin back. Lady was very rude. I like my nails in a stiletto shape so very pointed. She continued to round the tip and I told her not to so she told me to do it myself! Not to mention she didn't talk to me at all. Just to coworkers in her language probably talkin shit the whole time.. if you want good tips learn to talk to your client. Read Less

My daughter and I got pedicures today. They rushed us through, and took our sponge slippers off and told us to go because we were done. When we got home and took our shoes off, the polish is all gross and all over the insides of our socks. Not worth the money. Read Less

I would give only a half a star if I could...Worst nail experience ever. It took 2 hours 45 minutes to complete my shellac removal and new coat. First the guy had me soak in the pure acetone for a full 20 minutes before my nails started to ache and I asked if I could take them out yet. Then he hands me the tool and asks if I can start scraping the old gel off myself.. sooo I'm like ok sure. They were kinda busy to their defense, but not that busy. Throughout this two hour fortyfive minute ordeal I had about three different workers sit down and do a few steps then leave and go help someone else. One lady actually scolded me several times on "how hard I removed my gel with the tool".. finally I told her she should have taken it off herself, I am not a professional. I saw about three people come in, have their pedicures, DRY their nails AND LEAVE as I patiently waited for the next worker to sit down and do a few nails. This was my fourth and LAST time going to Happy Nails. Its too bad because some of the employees were pretty nice and their pedicure chairs were comfortable. Read Less

My daughter and I spent 2-1/2 hours at this nail salon...we both got a pedicure and my daughter got her nails painted (not a full manicure) and I had acrylic nails placed. When we arrived, we were told the wait would be 10 minutes...it was 20 minutes. Then we sat with our feet in the tub for 45 minutes...I am NOT joking. They were nice and offered each of us a drink. Really nice workers - but SLOW! They did an acceptable job - I have had better acrylics placed at other salons, though. Read Less
