This place has changed so much. I went to get some acrylic nails and the guy who did them kept on trying to convince me to do a coffin shape after I finally agreed he said only 5$ more really? So I told him no thanks. He did a lousy job if you ask me not worth what I paid. Then one of the employees I believe his name is Steve was doing a manicure on a customer when starring at the window he said: "Oh my God, that lady is wearing a see thru dress and she is sooooooo chuncky why would you were a dress like that when you are chunky " talk about rude. I kept trying to give this place another chance but every time I either get someone who is rude or doesn't really know what they are doing. There are a couple of girls that do a good job and are friendly, so if I can make an appointment with them I might go back.Read Less

I wish I could comment on the actual services but I can't. We walked in and out our name on the list. Stood there for a little bit. No one acknowledged us. So we sat down. Waited about 10 minutes. Another woman walked in and put her name on the list and they sat her to get a pedicure. So then I said hold on we have been waiting. He said okay you pick a color. I said well there are two of us and we have been waiting. He still sat the lady after us (who did not have an appointment) and just had room for one of us. Very rude. Didn't look at you and basically ignored me when I said there were two of us. I had been here a few months back and had decent service but after today, won't be back at all. They rushed through my nails so the color was uneven and the nails werent even done properly. They cant understand the basic things u ask for and i had to literally repeat myself 10 times and after that i had to draw out what i wanted because of horrible language barrier. Caution!!!! Go at your own risk!!!! The gentleman that did my pedicure was not paying attention with the nail file. He filed my skin, then proceeded to put callus remover on my feet causing EXCRUCIATING burning, then when I insisted he stop, he sprayed ALCOHOL from an unlabeled bottle into my now open wound on my foot!!!! OUCH! Never, have I ever, had such an experience. To boot I walked out mid service and they made me pay, full price none the less $30!!!! Used to be a 4/5 star place but with a different wave of employees, the service and experience are lacking! My gel manicure started bubbling and peeling after 2 days. I was rushed through the service so I decided to call. I went back in but had to go to the same girl, she used an acrylic nail tool to remove without asking and rushed the process again. It is 2 days past and surprise, my gels are peeling off again!! So a waste of time, money and she destroyed my nails all for nothing. A few months prior, I got a pedicure, waited the recommended hour plus additional time and my big toe nail still smudged! This place used to be a 4/5 star salon but with a different wave of employees, the service and experience are lacking. My last 3 visits have been bad! My pedicure polish is applied too thick, no amount of time could prevent a smudge. My gel manicure was rushed and peeled and bubbled w/in 2 days. I went in to be fixed and was told I had to go to the same girl. She rushed through and took off gel with an acrylic tool w/out asking, then rushed through the process again. 2 days later and my gel Polish is chipping off!! My sister-in-law had recommended this place as she claimed they had done a good job on her before and were reasonably priced.  I made an appointment for my wedding needing a typical Mani/pedi. I made the appointment and allowed an extra hour just in case. Thank God I did. The appointment was for me and 2 of my bridesmaids. We arrived at our appointment on time and were told it would just be a minute they were finishing up with a couple clients. No problem. We waited a 1/2 hr and then I asked again about our scheduled appointment. The man that appeared to be the manager told me it would just be a little longer they had taken some walk-in customers just before my appointment. What? What is the purpose of making an appointment if they're not going to honor my appointment time?!A full hour later we were seated in the pedicure chairs. It still took another 20 mins for someone to start. I had told them I had a dinner to go to and needed to hurry which is why I made an appointment. Just a minute I was told. Once we finally got someone to start on my nails (the bridesmaids weren't so lucky), I reiterated I had a rehearsal dinner and needed to be there on time. They told me I didn't - did I actually have an important part in the wedding. YES - I was the bride. They also asked my one bridesmaid if she could afford this as her nails made her look like she didn't have a job. Excuse you?They decided they could hurry up at this point but that meant I had to have a mani and pedi at the same time. One woman was working on my feet while another guy held onto my hand to do my finger nails. There was no massage at all. Meanwhile my one bridesmaid had to get someone to pick up her outfit as we'd have to leave directly from the salon to the rehearsal. I finished up and went to pay (one of my bridesmaids still hadn't had her nails started on yet) and the manager (who knew about the issues we were having) wanted to charge full price! I argued as I did not get the full service I had made an appointment for and obviously the results showed it. The least you could do for ignoring my appointment and taking me almost an hour and a half late was to give me a discount and apologize. He seemed shocked I wanted a discount and begrudgingly agreed. Best nail bar in Glasgow-great quality and quick. Shellac always lasts over 4 weeks and only needs redone due to nail growth! Stripped 4 layers of wallpaper with steam, liquid and scraping and didn't have a mark on my nails! Read Less

Super impressed. I live in CA and came here with my mom today. They did one of the best pedicures I've ever had. The whole 9 yards! Loved it. So disappointed! Today I was there for a pedicure. The guy that did my pedicure did an okay job. I called yesterday to make an appointment. When I arrived they didn't have me in their books. They didn't have any hot water so some guy in the back was heating water up in a crockpot. When I went to pay the lady told me they don't take gift cards anymore! My friend got me 2 $30 gift cards last year as gifts. Now I can't use them unless I have a receipt. The lady told me she would "make me a deal & give me $40 value for me gift cards." What?!? I had a receipt for the one showing the $30 & now hopefully I can find the other receipts otherwise I'm out $30. They are crooks! When this place first opened the service was amazing. This place is awesome. The staff is welcoming and friendly, so great service. They offer complementary  FULL bottles of water and pop for customers. Very extensive color selection (mostly OPI and some China glaze). The pedicure I got was relaxing and amazing with really nice massage chair. I also noticed that the place is very clean and well kept. I used to go to Hollywood nails down the street but I would much rather come here! Read Less

I would highly recommend going to La Vie for the Spa Pedicure and Manicure. I got the one that removes all the calluses. Very clean! OMG, the wonderful nail technician massaged my feet and calves with 4 hot stones. Heavenly! Along with the massage chair, all my stress disappeared. I recommended you to my mother and you failed on that recommendation!  She took her three grandkids in to get manicures and pedicures and they were treated awful.  My daughter's nails and my mother's nails look terrible, your foot spa has no hot water,  my niece asked for two colors and only got one, your debit card machine was down but didn't tell anyone before you statred their nails or post a sign.  My niece asked repeatedly to have the guy help her to make the chair vibrate and he ignored her and to top it off, her pedicure consisted of her feet being dipped in the water, no towel, no foot massage, nothing. I'm in town visiting from Detroit area and have had my nails done at MANY different nail places from all over the spectrum. The next couple weeks for me are busy between an anniversary, Christmas parties, and a new job and I needed to get my nails done. My mom, who lives in Elkhorn recommended Le Vi as she used to work in Delavan and came here often. And I am happy with that recommendation! Very clean enviornment and the receptionist even got out the mop ans cleaned the floors while I was there. I stopped in to get my acrylic set put on and for $30 I got a GREAT set. He even helped me pick out my color and gave me tips on what I can do at home to help the color stay fresh. All even length, the tech took his time to make sure everything was perfect and it is. I have been going to LeVi nails for several years and is the ONLY nail salon I will trust with my nails (and Pedi's). I grew up in Delavan, but currently live almost 2 hours away. I drive to Delavan every week and religiously get my nails done every 2 weeks. I am SUPER picky about my nails and trust no one else so I will continue to make the drive now and always. Amazing Pedicures, and very talented artists that create masterpiece's on my nails with the nail art. Ruby is extremely talented! The staff is fun, welcoming,  accommodating, comical and actually have conversation with you. A refreshing difference from any other salon I have been to. Every day I am complimented on my nails. quite disapointing.  Beware,nothing is sterilized between clients.  Every acrylic nail on my fingers is a different shape and length. I  was told that theyy follow the shape and length tht you came in with........come on.  Then I was gossiped about and given looks before I even got out the door. Love this place! I've been going since it opened and won't go anywhere else! They are friendly and super friendly! I'm a LMT and some of there employees should working in there massaging but other than that it's a great place to come relax and have a laugh! My pedicures always last at least 2 weeks! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!Definitely the right people, right attitude, right price!They treat you and each other like family.  Its a very high-spirited, joking crew that works there, they have fun with each other and involve you as well.  You feel like you are sitting at your own kitchen table with your favorites sisters, cousins, aunts and brothers.  This is a laid back - not snippy or uppity kinda place.  The decor is lovely, the procedures/treatments are all top of the line.  My gel manicures last on average 2.5-3 weeks at a time!  Fun atmosphere.
