I received my first gel manicure a week ago. I explained it was my first and tried to ask questions but the young lady did not want to talk. On the phone before hand I was told a regular manicure would cost $15, in the store it was $25 and the gel was more. I had a few events coming up and didn't want to deal with my nails. They are badly chipped on the ends. Everything I read says this should have lasted 2 weeks minimum. For $45 including tip I would expect that. Horrible! Paid $35 for a shellac Fill. Came back 3 days later because my nails were lifting and chipping. They argued with me about fixing them, told me I would have to come back in a few days. I asked if they could please just fix them. Then they took my fingers one by one and said they were fine and there was nothing wrong! Really? Nice customer service! Save your money and go elsewhere! I've been here before and the service, friendliness and price were fine. My granddaughter here for vacation & wanted to start our vacation with a manicure pedicure for both. Asked for gel and a callus removal for myself. Had our big toes detailed with 4th of July decor. Granddaughter wanted each fingernail decorated with the same detail & relayed this 4 -5 times. I was overwhelmed when they told me my bill was 147.00 dollars! Not including a tip. I handed her a 10 dollar bill and she immediately said to me what about a tip for girl did the other one meaning my granddaughter. They acted as though they didn't understand, talked over me and just disregarded. I would like to hear from others that this 147.00 is a normal cost because I feel like I was taken to the cleaners. It was actually a crappy beginning to our vacation. Charged me 94.00 and my 11 year old granddaughter 47.00. I asked if they still have a discount when u pay cash and I was met with an abrupt no. I really would like to see a cost breakdown for the services I got. Can someone justify what Nail Art charged me??? Ps: after 3 days I have no polish on 2 of my finger nails. I did find out that my polish not gel was used on my granddaughters nails. I will not go back. I will find a more respectful, reasonable nail salon. I really wanted to like this place - the staff was friendly and accommodating. However, the manicure that I received was not good. I had my gel polish removed and a regular manicure after. When it came to the manicure, the shaping and filing of the nails was a little rough and my nails weren't evenly shaped/filed. My nails were also soft from having been soaking in water, so a couple of my nails actually split when they were being filed. Then for the cuticles, the softener was applied but the tech barely even used the cuticle pusher to get the hard/dried cuticle off my nails. For the polish, everything was applied as if the tech was rushing and I now have clear polish and colored polish on my fingers. Not only that, there are some places that were missed with the colored polish. I'm not sure if my manicure was done this way because I didn't want another gel manicure or what. (The tech asked me why I want getting another gel manicure and I said that I just didn't want one). I was on my lunch break and I didn't have the heart or the time to tell the tech that I wasn't entirely happy. Luckily the manicure was fairly inexpensive; however I feel like I could have done a better job myself. Update - my nail polish didn't even last a day. Every finger has polish that has chipped off. This place is fairly decent. Not the world's greatest, but not bad by any means. I went here before my wedding with my wedding party. After our other salon canceled, I called the day before and got 8 people in for various services. They were very sweet and gave us all champaign at no charge. When I get acrylics done, they don't often last as long as other places, but I've gone several times for pedicures and those have always been great. They do great with basic color polish and gels (not really gifted with design work, but can do basic designs). Read Less

Not sure about these bad reviews. I have never had a bad experience. Been going there for 2 years consistently. Never waited longer than 5 min, never rushed, excellent service. Once I tried a Polish with glitter in it, 2 days later it started to peel. I went back in and they re-did my nails, no questions asked for free. Everyone is super friendly every time. Read Less
