Made an appointment for noon and Saturday. I understand that it is the holidays, but Ivy (the owner) was 20 minutes late for my appointment. I needed a shellac manicure. After waiting 20 minutes for my appointment I was barely in the chair for 20 minutes. She removed my existing shellac, buffed and quickly filed my nails and then began painting. Didn't even ask me to get up to wash my hands to remove the nail dust that was all over my nails. Just painted right over it. No "manicure" at all. Didn't remove cuticles. Simply slapped on some polish. Three days later there is still paint on my cuticles and the polish doesn't go anywhere near the end of the nail bed. I asked if she would remove my cuticles, any dead skin, etc - she said "We only do that if you need it. Not every time." Well I definitely needed it. I thought maybe she was just going to charge me $15 for a polish change - because that is essentially what she did. Nope. Charged the full price. Clearly they were trying to move people and out Saturday. I will never return. Worst experience I've had in 20 years at a nail salon. Read Less

The best, always! I've never had even a "mediocre" experience; it's always fantastic! Both Ivy and Dawn do my occasional manicures and I think just about everyone has done a pedicure- GREAT treatment all around! They're literally a 15 min drive from me, but they're worth it. Went for my first pedicure ever in August so I was pretty excited. Horrible post-experience. At the end I had a certificate to cover some of the cost, but the lady said it was impossible to use the certificate AND pay the rest with a credit card, so I had to pay with cash. Luckily I had cash that day as I rarely do. About a week later I noticed my nails had become thicker and I had to rip layers off as I clipped instead of a hard piece coming off with the first clip. Best pedicure I have ever received! The leg and foot massage was really long, and it wasn't rushed like other places. I'm always very happy with my shellac manicure too! Ivy is always friendly and greets you as soon as you walk in. She talks with you, and remembers you each time you visit. My friend and I were so looking forward to going to UV Nails. We had read the reviews, and it had been reccomended by several friends. We were both very disappointed. I wasn't asked if I wanted a design, my friend asked for a design, and the guy couldn't do it but he did it anyway and it looked aweful. Both off us still had dry rough spots on our feet. We had a horrible experience. Their customer service is horrible, I am embarrassed for them! We had a day expired certificate and the lady working with my mom took the certificate and she didn't have to pay and my mom had her jacket on and was walking out the door and the owner (IVY) came over and made her pay more and said she couldn't use the certificate. Seriously, that is the worst customer service ever, you don't take a certificate and as the customer is walking out the door go and ask for more money. Of course as they were all talking their language amongst themselves. Then the lady my daughter and I were with took our certificates as well and a couple of minutes later IVY came over and told me that I had to pay more too. I feel completely robbed and as if they stole money from our family. They still have the full certificate amount that we paid originally and in fact claimed that on taxes as well and now took money for services that were not rendered above and beyond the cost! Another thing that made me uncomfortable was that they were exchanging wads of money amongst themselves a bunch of times and laughing about it. And yes they still took more money from us. I'm disgusted. I will never do business with them ever again, I would recommend going to Americans as I feel robbed and uncomfortable with the entire situation. Do not do business with them. I was going to Heaven nail and spa on the other side of de pere until I came here. They were open on a Sunday and Heaven wasn't so I figured I'd chance it. Never knew how great a nail salon could be. Ivy is amazing. I can show her a picture on Google and even though she tells me it won't be exactly like it because my nails are short and rounder than those pictures shown in fake acrylic (but does McDonald's food look advertised even??) She STILL makes them look crazy similar, way more so than I could ever expect. They are so much friendlier and cleaner than I could ever imagine. I only go here and I suggest everyone I know to visit them. Wonderful place, friendly faces, great prices, better products and superb outcomes. You won't regret coming here, ever! Went in for a fill, the guy who did them seemed like he was in a rush, my left hand nails are all crooked, he didn't even check to see if both hands were even, which their not. He would hold my hand up to me and look away like I was taking up his precious time. I told him one of my nails was crooked and he did one little file and moved on. He filed my nail until it hurt. I recently moved from New Hampshire to the Green Bay area and I wasn't sure where to go to get my nails done that was affordable and also up to my sometimes ridiculous standards. UV Nails did both impeccably! Johnny did an incredible job on my pedicure and Shellac manicure. I have to say that he gave me the best foot massage I've had in ages ;-) I would go back just for that. Location location location, right in the little strip next to Piggly Wiggly. They're priced about the same as other nail salons for shellac, a little bit higher priced for pedicure, and after 3pm they're always swamped busy.Their nail techs are usually pretty good, but with shellac I'm sorry but I don't like it when it doesn't cover my entire nail. You'd never be able to tell from a distance, but I know it. That's why they only get 4 stars.The place is always clean, they use all brand new tools with each client and the ambiance is really relaxing.All in all, this is an excellent place to pamper yourself, and the owner is always friendly and welcoming whenever I walk through the door.
