I came here for a pedicure and the guy running the show wouldn't allow me to put the message chair on the setting I wanted. He took the remote from me, set it and told me too just leave it?...I thought that was rude and unprofessional but I figured maybe this specific chair was on the outs or something. I didn't go back here for a while. My daughter wanted to get her nails done and the place we usually go to had a long wait time, she was impatient, so we came here. The sign said full set 27.00 and up. The instint we walked in the same guy was trying to up sell us to gel, I told him she's 11, she doesn't need gel. When he was done he charged me 45.00!!! When i asked why he said because he shaped then like a coffin and added gel! I paid it, because I didn't want to cause a seen with my daughter's there, but this place is a rip off! I had my nails done here today after been recommended by my auntie I was a bit apprehensive at first after always going to the Chinese nails salons and well what can I say I am so impressed with my nails after over 10 years of visiting Chinese salons I never imagined having my nails done without an electric nail file but the way these ladies work is amazing, it was so nice to sit and have my old nails removed and new ones done all pain free and not to forget the added bonus of it not costing me nearly £50 for a set of nails. i had an amazing pedicure. i chose the most expensive offering for $45 and the technician took so much time and gave me a relaxing stress-free pedicure. This used to be a good place to go- not fancy or super pampering, but they did a good job and prices are better than most places. I live in he neighborhood and was a regular customer for nine years. However, last two times I've been there, TERRIBLE service with no apologies. First bad experience was getting skipped over twice on a busy afternoon by walk-ins after me, one of whom even pointed out I had arrived and was on the sign in sheet ahead of her. Second time was 40 minutes before closing, with only two of the four nail techs with customers and no one else waiting, they refused to serve my friend and I, stating that they were closing soon. Very disappointed because this shop is only a few blocks away and a good price- too bad they have become indifferent to customer service. Read Less

My sister and I were looking for a place to get pedicures, and this was just a short drive from her house. The employees were very friendly. The pedicure was nice--included a soak, scrub, leg massage, hot towel, and polish. It was clean, the products/scrubs smelled great. For only $25, it was a great deal. Went there a few times now, great service!!! Told the guy who was doing my nails that I'm going to Mexico and afraid my nail polish would chip. He gave me the nail polish he used and top coat to take to Mexico with me!!! That's what I call great customer service! Read Less

I have been here for two different sets of nails in the past. The nail techs are awesome and polite. I have never had an issue with anyone. They listen to your needs and concerns. If you do not like something they are more and willing to correct their mistakes without issues. Also, if they do not have a design they will do their best to accommodate you. Summary: Good service, nice environment, decent prices.Since moving back to the area from Cali, I've been looking for a good nail salon.  My first attempt (at PT in Whitnall Square) was a disaster.  I tried Nail First next.  I'd been here about 10 years ago and remembered it being rather so-so.  It's improved.The environment inside is really nice and comfortable feeling.  It's cozy and comfortable and the massage chairs for pedicures don't beat you up.  I was given water nearly as soon as I arrived.  The gentleman who did my pedicure was good and friendly.  I have issues with my nails growing in painful directions and he was careful to make sure that was addressed.  The leg massage was incredible.  The lady who did my manicure was polite and pretty good.  The shellac on my nails is a bit lumpy in places, which drives me nuts and usually results in my pealing the polish off prematurely.  Since I only get shellac for special occasions, that's not to big a deal.  Other than the lumps, great experience. I went to Polish Nail Bar last week. If you want to read my review for that place, go to their profile. Long story short, two days later, I had to cut my own cuticles. Then of course, my nail polish looked like I had gotten a mani two weeks before. I live in Cudahy, but I don't hang out, or buy, or visit here. I had been eyeing the place for a while and today, I decided to walk in to help my nails. I ended getting a mani/pedi for half the price I would have paid at Polished Nail Bar, getting the same service I got here. Of course, it's not a decked out environment but it's clean. They offer small water bottles. They are friendly and they are more than glad to take care of your nail needs. Prices are reasonable and it's two blocks away from my house. Will be going back in two weeks with my mom! They have shallack too. Read Less
