I tried a few salons and stylists before finding Amanda at Neroli. The best testament to the quality of her work is that I can go for months without needing a cut (I do occasionally trim my bangs) because the style holds its shape so well. The team at Neroli is wonderfully customer focused - with a greeter ready to check you in the moment you walk in -- offering beverages, taking your coat, etc. I love browsing the products and makeup in the lobby if I have a few minutes to wait. This review is for Jamie, their new massage therapist:I have been to three different Neroli locations and Jamie is the best Neroli has to offer in any location!  I am so glad that I finally found her.  I will never go to anyone else. She pays attention to the details of your needs while working out kinks with the appropriate amount of pressure.  Her massage treatment is comforting and enjoyable while also treating you with hot/warm towels.  It makes a huge difference when someone really enjoys what they do and it is entirely evident in the way that Jamie cares for you during the massage. My most recent visit to Neroli will be my last. I brought a photo with me to show the stylist the look that I wanted. When I showed it to her, she stated that I would have to go to a professional to achieve the look. Ummmmm... hello... aren't the stylists at Neroli professionals? Went to the salon to get a balayage. Stylist was nice. Apparently my hair didn't take well to the color and the color wasn't very noticeable. Was told that I could come back and have more toner put on it to lighten up for only $20. Got home and realized in different light the hair color was not noticeable at all. Tried to schedule an appointment to get it lightened and next thing you know it will cost at least $85 to fix, not the $20 I was told. Definitely wasted money on thi...s. Very disappointing. The person I talked to at corporate was rude about the issue was rude about it and not helpful at all. Don't understand why you would need to pay full price again to get something fixed that didn't turn out well the first time. I feel like this place is a scam and just cares about getting your money. I see Shauna for my haircuts.  She does a great job.  I don't think I am fussy or ask for anything impossible but it has been hard to find a decent hairdresser.  I am very happy with her.  I have had manicures and pedicures here.  I thought the price and quality were similar to any other salon I had visited.  I have also had massages here.  They were just ok.  So I am still searching for a place that has a good massage.  The online reservation system is annoying.  I don't get what the issue is.  I have tried to book services and it says they are booked for weeks but when I call there are numerous openings. Received a gel manicure with “stress fix” but got no massage. They said there wasn’t time since I wanted gel.. but I booked online and there was no option to add gel to it online so I wrote it in the notes. $73 gel manicure later and 7 days later two nails have completed chipped off and more are partially coming off. Tried this place twice for nail services. You'd think for the price it would be great but that's not the case. Had a manicure and pedicure and will never go back. They were late for both appointments for starters. The pedicure only lasted about two weeks before the polished chipped. I usually can go about 6 weeks. Had a manicure today which took only about 20 minutes and could have done better myself and it cost 26.00'for a basic and I mean basic manicure. Had to redo two of the nails when I got home. Customer service is horrible all the way to upper management. The day before my wedding i had scheduled a mani and pedi appointment with my maid of honor. She was able to get her mani and pedi completed in time, but at 5:00 pm I was told they didn't have time to finish my pedicure because it would take too long because of the ridges in my nails! I was getting married the very next day with open toe shoes, and they made me leave without any polish on my toes. They didn't check to see if anyone else was available to finish them since the salon was still open until i asked them. They couldn't find anyone or "make" the nail technician stay past 5pm, but they did recommended I go to one of their competitors. I didn't even get an apology. I sent this email to Susan Haise (the owner) directly using the email from the website on 8/21, but have yet to get any kind of response, so I thought I would post it here: I wanted to give some feedback on my experiences at the Brookfield Road location. I recently moved here from California, where I went to an Aveda salon regularly for over 10 years. I decided to give Neroli (Brookfield location) a try because it's also an Aveda salon and it's close to my house. My bigge...st complaint is that the stylists don't sweep their areas after giving a haircut, before bringing back their next client. I don't want to walk and step on other people's hair! It's disgusting! The first time I came in I thought that this was just a one-off, but the second time I came in and was there for about 2 hours, and saw it happen over and over again and by many different stylists, I realized that this seems to be normal, at least for this location. As a client that is paying a good sum of money to come to the salon, I would expect to never be seated in an area that isn't clean and definitely not an area where I have to step on someone else's cut hair! Also - I would think that after my bangs were cut that the stylist would have a brush or use the hair dryer to blow the little pieces of hair off of my face - I had to try to brush it off myself with my hands. Needless to say, I'm quite a bit disappointed in my two experiences at this salon and I'm considering either trying a different Neroli location or going to another salon altogether. I would prefer to stay at an Aveda salon, but it seems that Neroli doesn't have the same high standards as the Aveda salon that I frequented in California. See more Read Less

Booking an appointment with Neroli is always easy on the phone!Had a haircut with Shana Marie (?). I waited quite a while for her to collect me for the appointment, and I got to listen to young college students talk about courses... Yay!She was friendly and did a fantastic job on my hair. I appreciate that she didn't try to sell me all the products she used. I like Neroli a lot and I'll definitely be back to this location. Parking is excellent here, and it's in the same shopping center as a Sendiks. I definitely like this location best. Read Less
