I had a dip nail done for the first time at a place close to my house and it was absolutely terrible! I had two cuticle bleeds and the nails were so thick and looked like skittles on my hands ..... I came here for them to fix me and they did ABSOLUTELY AMAZING WORK!!! The staff is so friendly and accommodating.... I will be coming back for sure and spreading the word for sure!! Underimpressed is an understatement! First was overwhelmed with too many color choices and then was rushed by the nail tech. The original tech was doing a nice job but seemed annoyed that she needed to wait to soak off my shellac ( even though I told them on the phone I would need it) she then had to leave to go to another job and what appeared to be a manager finished my nails. The second woman seemed extremely rushed and annoyed when I told her I didn’t like one of the colors (wanted a pop color nail) and asked to just keep them all one color. Instead of removing the 1st layer she just went over it with the new color. I also had to tell her 2 times that there was fuzz in the nail from the cotton balls. When my nails were done you could still see some pink shining through from the 1st layer. Fast forward 5 days and 2 nails chipped from my shellac manicure! And now on day 6 I’m left with only 5 nails with shellac still on them! Read Less

I have been struggling to find a clean nail salon in the area. I get goosebumps getting my nails done in a salon that has dirty floors, chairs, etc. Anthony Vince Nail Spa surpassed my expectations. Attended an organized event. Started off badly when the manager knew we had registered online but was unable to determine which services we selected and asked us to try to find it on our email. They then sat me and fully knowing I had a guest along--left her sitting for 20 minutes by herself in the lobby area until I insisted they bring her back. They finally did-she was about ready to leave -even though she prepaid!  Her nail tech for pedi was very good--mine not so much!  Michelle seemed inexperienced. Water was way too hot. She was so rough with the pedi stone that it actually was painful--which she found humorous. Then the lotion she put on my legs started burning and my ankles started turning red/rash looking.  She kept going even though I told her it was burning. The tech next to her told her she needed to place my feet back in the water and spray rinse--again she used very hot water. It was a miserable experience. Onto the mani--the gel drying machine kept shutting off.  So she would keep picking them up and placing them right on top of the wet polish she just applied. It was so frustrating. The tips of my nails are all stiff very rough finish-they keep snagging on everything I need to go somewhere else now to get them smoothed out.  Absolutely the worse experience I have ever had--do NOT let MICHELLE do your nails--you will have to get them redone! I came in for a gel nail fill and a pedicure.  They were super nice and attentive, clean space, etc.  the pedicure was nice, the tech did a good job and was very nice.  The negative part was my nail fill.  First, I had to pay an extra $5 to shape my nails coffin shape, which I've never had to before.  And the guy who did them, although he did a good job, I felt very rushed.  Whenever I put my nails under the UV to dry, he didn't let it sit for the full time and kept rushing the process.  With that being said, 2 days later, my thumb nail chipped and 4 days later my other thumb nail chipped.  I honestly have never had my nails chip and for the amount of money I spent, I expected better. Buyer beware! Don't be fooled by the array of gel and powder colors. This place is a rip off. I was told a powder manicure would be $45. When I went to pay, the cashier told me the total was $50. I questioned the cost and she stated that I had a cuticle treatment and that was an additional $5. Not once was I given the choice or asked if I wanted it done. It was my thought that cuticles were part of a manicure. Silly me. At the end my nail tech got up and walked away so I guess that meant I was done. No lotion or hand massage. I paid $58 for a crappy powder manicure. This place sucks. Oh and their liquor license was pulled so they don't offer wine anymore. False advertising in my opinion. I have used the contact us option on the website twice and no one responded. My first visit was on July 12. There were 4 of us for a pedicure. Initially I thought being it was at the Corners it would be very upscale. It is beautiful but I couldn't communicate with my girl as she didn't speak English. Only one of our girls spoke to us. My girl cut my big toes so much they bled. She didn't put on a base coat either. I asked her about it but didn't get an answer. The weirdest thing was when we were done they picked up their things and just left us sitting there never returning. No thank you or removal of toe separators, nothing. Finally we all removed ours and put our shoes on and went to pay. That is the worst way to treat a customer. If you are going to be a presence at a very upscale mall, the employees need to learn customer service and to be able to communicate with customers. I don't mean to chit chat but to at least understand what we need. I also purchased the costlier pedicure and the leg and foot massage was practically nil. Read Less

I have been to AV about 6x since they opened for both manis & pedis. It's very hit or miss. I have had great manis from some of the men & so-so from the women. The last time I went the technician gave me the file & implied I can file my nails to the shape I desire which is unacceptable - this is why I go in to get my nails done! There is a significant language barrier with some of the staff which I don't have a problem with until it gets to the point they are unable to understand what I'm asking for. Some of the staff seem quite young & immature. The skill set really varies by technician. The massage chairs are not very comfortable nor great considering the price point & supposed upscale experience a guest is supposed to have. I will probably not be returning as there are other nail salons with less expensive prices & equal to better services in the area. They do have a great selection of colors. I came in for a regular manicure late on a Saturday. I had gel polish on that the technician attempted to remove, but she did not take it off completely so the polish she put on was not smooth at all. She did not get close to the edges of my nails, and I had to ask her to remove the polish that was on my skin. She put thick layers of polish on, and when she put on the topcoat, there was some glitter in it from whoever had used it previously - she used it anyway. I also had to wait for her a couple times because she was tallying up her receipts from the day. It was my first experience here; I've never complained about a manicure before, but it is such a treat that it is upsetting when you do not get what you pay for at all. Read Less

I was there to have a manicure, enjoyed the luxurious feel of the nail salon and the the service that I got. The spa has a bar so I got myself a glass of wine to relax. Ben, my nail tech, was very detail-oriented. He checked with me multiple times if I liked the color, the shape of the nails and the thickness of the layer. I did the dipping powder because apparently it will take way less time to drill it off compared to gel. The place is beautiful, clean, nice music, comfortable and the service very good. It lacked warmth and friendliness to me. Except for Megan, I didn't see a lot of happy faces. Even the faces of the other guests looked too serious. I would see employees looking around, Checking out what was going on around the salon more often than paying attention to the guest. Disclaimer: I received my pedicure for free as part of their opening day promotion on 4/8 (I waited in line at The Corners grand opening).  At the time of the service, the nail tech was under the impression that the service would be half price, but I had a voucher making it free.  My pedicure started out fine.  The pedicurist (I think I remember her name, but I'm not going to say it just in case I'm wrong) seemed friendly enough.  She lectured me a bit about needing to get a pedicure every two weeks, and told me that she had been doing nails for 20 years.  Unfortunately, that experience wasn't reflected in her work on me.  As you can see from the pictures, she cut the nails on my big toe down to the quick. She also rounded them deeply on the sides, which I have never had happen in my own 20 years of getting pedicures.  She made a cutting gesture at the beginning of the service and asked me if I wanted it, but I said yes thinking that she was just going to trim them a little (I had cut them not too long before).  There was nothing wrong with my nails that would require this.  This has left my feet feeling uncomfortable in my shoes and I now have to worry about ingrown toenails. Also, at one point as she was using the nipper on my cuticles, she wiped the residue on the top of my foot and looked up at me.  I can assume that she was awaiting a reaction, but I didn't give her one.  The rest she wiped on the towel my feet were resting on. I can also assume that the service is usually longer/more detailed, as one of the owners of the salon, who was doing my friend's manicure right across from us, expressed surprise that I was done as quickly as I was.  I tipped her because I believe is doing so for service people, not because I thought she did a good job.  I probably shouldn't have bothered, but I didn't want to be one of "those people".   All that being said, the décor was very nice, reminiscent of the Cheesecake Factory.  The waiting area is also nice, with a bar area with additional seating.  I was told they are working on getting  a liquor license. They also have a wide variety of nail colors. There is a small sign that requests tips in cash only, but I don't know if that is a hard and fast rule. I usually don't leave reviews for establishments, but I didn't want to badmouth the place to others without leaving one.  I won't be returning and I can't recommend it. Read Less
