I’m very thankful to my stylist, Gene Palmann. He has been with me for over 15 yrs. I have very curly hair. Gene CAN cut curly. Every haircut he gives me is a winner. He has helped me through a lot of hair emergencies. I believe Salon CTI gives very good customer service. My 4 stars are because the internet does not work well at all. Before moving to KY, CTI was the only place I would go to get my haircut. I have been a satisfied customer of CTI for years and years and years and have utilized almost all of their services. My last stop here was on a visit back to WI because I wanted to chop my hair really short and I have not yet found someone I trust in Louisville to do it. Had my first hair appointment with Chris today. He is very knowledgeable, he explained what he was doing every step of the way (I was very skeptical about getting my hair cut-it's been 2 years since I had it cut). He explained all the science behind why he did the things he did and how the products worked. Everyone there was very friendly and left me feeling confident in knowing how to keep up my hair and what to do next. I would recommend CTI to anyone! This place is generally fairly priced, and you'll likely get a good cut no matter what stylist you get. Some stylists are way better than others though, but since I've been spending most of my time in the Chicago area, I'm not sure who still works there. Since this is small-town Wisconsin, the stylists are going to be better with conservative cuts and colors, but if you live there, that's probably the vibe you're going for.I'd especially recommend their up-dos. I had three or four done there for various high school dances, and even though my hair was only a bit beyond chin length, they were able to style it in amazingly creative ways. Definitely much more than I could've done on my own.Once, when I accidentally dyed my hair bright red (long story), they kindly helped me fix it, even though it took over two hours. While I paid more than I would've liked, I was glad that they didn't give me too much crap about it, and made sure I was happy with the fixes. Read Less

I was extremely dissapointed. I had my hair "trimmed" and styled for an important evening out. My stylist hacked off nearly 5 inches of my hair, was unable to curl it like I asked, and I ended up with a rock hard (from extreme hairspray use), poorly curled, bowl-cut esk style. My body was stiff, stressed and sore and I needed a massage ASAP, CTI got me in the day I called not ever being there before I didn't know what to expect only that they were the only ones who could get me in the same day and I was desperate. WHAT A NICE PLACE, clean, professional staff, nice decor and a lot of different types of products. Back to the massage, I walked in with pain and stress and bent over with a back ache and neck ache and walked out smiling, refreshed and standing tall. Nothing like a excellent massage.
