I went in to get a full set of nails, It was a treat for me I am not a regular. I asked for a set of tips, was talked into doing the more expensive gel. I think when you get tips after things should look pretty flawless. Not after this place gets done with you. the nails looked crooked and the finish was uneven and bumpy. I did complain, and she tried to explain and make excuses for why it was the way it was and she was rude in the end even asked if she could add a tip to my card, I have had nails before, and by far this was the worst, they looked so fake 45.00 later, just sad NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN WILL I BE BACK!! Wonderful pedicure! I have one place that I favored in De Pere, but since we don't live in the Green Bay area, I was reluctant on where to go in Appleton... didn't want something half effort. I looked up Google reviews and all that. LOVE Lovely Nails. They got me in right away, despite being busy - they got my chair and water ready, and I barely had to wait! She actually took the dry skin off my feet! Gave me a good, worthwhile foot/leg massage, and used some sort of awesome gel for it - didn't use Bath & Body Works lotion or some other scent stuff that most places use and my skin breaks out. Well, I have to say the quality here are extremely good! The people worked here so nice, the ways they served me made me felt like I'm in heaven. The music, the color gave me warmth and peaceful. But they only had 4 worker so sometimes it's hard for them to serve all the walk in customer. They also have decorated their store with this big trees. So colorful!!!! Came in for shellac removal for gel nail polish. The positive, I was greeted right away, and walked in for immediate service. The negative: shellac needs time to soak off and soften for removal. I told the nail tech as she started to try to pull the gel polish off without a soak: "No, you need to let this soak a bit. If I wanted it peeled off, I could do that at home." She listened, and took more time, which I appreciated. They remove this with a lot of heavy filing with a very coarse file. Again, I told the tech to just let it soak. I have nice natural nails, and I didn't want them thin and broken. In my past experience at other salons, a cotton swab is applied to the nail, and time is given to let the product soften for removal.  I have had better service in the area. I would not return. Never go here, this place is awful. I went in to get my acrylics off, that I had on for about 2 months, and the lady refused to take them off for me. Instead she simply filed the polish off, trimmed them down, and then charged me $10!!! Awful service, awful employees. Read Less

I've tried several nail shops since moving to Appleton, and after going to do many and being unsatisfied, I've got my nails done at lively nails 3 times now and I'll never go anywhere else. Went here for the first time just before closing on a Sunday. I thought they might be annoyed by my cutting hit kinda close to closing time. Well if they were they didn't show it. I always appreciate feeling welcome and wanted. The salon was quiet, relaxing, they were nice and did a very good job. What more can I ask for?
