My first time ever coming here was awesome! I felt very comfortable and respected. Kelly is so sweet. She took her time and made sure she did a beautiful job. Today I went to get my nails done with three of my friends and we were VERY disappointed. The people were extremely rude and pushy. They filed my friends Arcylics down to almost nothing, made my other friend BLEED (then laughed at her instead of apologizing) and when I showed the woman a picture of the feather I wanted, she did her own "version" of it which was just lines and glitter. I come here for my summer pedicures. I have never had a bad one!  They last so well that the only reason I have to come back is because my nails have grown out!  I always get a design. Each design has been unique. The staff has always been friendly. I came in and everyone seems very friendly, I was seated and a lady came up to me and started to take off the set that I had on and as she was taking them off I noticed that she was trying to get it done fast and she was pushing too hard with the grinder thing and it was getting really hot and I told her that it hurt and she continued to do it but also was apologizing Ashley did it instead of fixing the problem. then she used a tip of a fake nail to get off the remainder of the old nails like normal, but she was ripping into my skin and I told her it hurt and she continued to do it on top of apologizing again instead of fixing the problem by taking her time instead of rushing like she was doing, she ripped two of my nails while she was trying to get the fake nail off and both those fingers obviously started bleeding and she said that it was because she didn't know any other way to get the nail off and basically it's always painful according to her to remove an old set of nails, I had told her that I had never experienced it to be painful to that extent and she continued to say basically it was my fault for getting a new set put on. another gentleman approached us that worked there and he asked if she had hurt me with kind of a grin on his face, & I replied yes, after I replied yes she chuckled and made a joke that I had started tearing up because she had hurt me multiple times and they both chuckled and I felt very uncomfortable and I couldn't wait to leave. shit like I said kept apologizing but I felt that it was not sincere and obviously she kept doing it so she must not have been that sorry. You can see blood from where she ripped my nail under the New set she put on smh one of the worst experiences I have ever had and I will never be going back here. I suggest anyone looking for a really good nail job and friendly people to do your nails, go to Elegant Nails in green bay, they are the best that I have ever been to in Wisconsin and I wish that I would have taken the time to drive the extra half hour to Green Bay instead of stopping in Appleton. I went to this salon bcos a lot of my friends refer me to Kelly, she is a nice person but they make you wait for hrs & it doesn't matter if u have requested someone in particular. Kelly did my nails very fast & they look like my little sister did'em, they have aprox 4 days & they are already chipping. I think that if would only take their time in betwwen appointment i'm sure they could have done a better job. unfortunately i will not go back to get another crappy job. Read Less

Great place to be!Pros: cheap prices, exceptional work! I got a manicure for $15 or so dollars! I went back and got a set of acrylics for $25! That's dirty cheap but their work was great! I use acrylic nails because I'm a nail biter. That is the only reason why I (a boy) got them. Kelly and her staff were understanding and non judgmental. Cons: Kelly and her employees don't seem friendly but really, they're genuinely good people. They could work a little on being more approachable. Sometimes, they will talk in their language in front of customers and myself. It's sometimes uncomfortable. I have nothing against them speaking in their language but if they carry out long conversations, I feel awkward. I feel like I'm not included in their conversation. Sometimes, they seem like they rush things. People come there to have a good time and relax, so they should take their time to really talk with their customers and get to know them. Read Less

I was super nervous going in because I had only had bad experience with acrylics and it was so late. She was very patient with me and listened to exactly how I wanted my nails to look (natural). She did not make me feel rushed what so ever, which was surprising because it was so late! She took her sweet time making my nails exactly how I wanted them to look! Which was great! I cannot express how happy I am with my results and she told me that if I'm not still satisfied in two weeks that she would happily fix them for free! If I could give a 0 I WOULD!!!! This was the most rushed & pitiful Shellac Mani/Pedi I have EVER RECEIVED.  I had a younger girl who was impersonal & HORRIBLE.  Rushed thru every second.  I sat down after everyone in our bridal party & was finished with a half ass job before EVERYONE.  There was still dirt under my nails & I had to remove it with my credit card- NOT ONLY THIS, but my nail edges felt rough/rigid & as though they have not even been buffed.  The color is not completely covering my nails on either hands or toes AND she neglected to remove nail polish left on my skin.  She completed neglected to give me a massage of any sort on either hand or foot & just performed POORLY OVERALL!  If you'd like to take a gamble on this place- by all means- but you will lose out on $50 for a horribly done MANI/PEDI!!!! We were referred by a friend and when we walked I'm we were greeted and immediately seated. We went for pedicures everyone introduced themselves and offered us a drink. Very disappointed! I was a walk-in, and they sat me right away. Initially I was impressed with the prompt service and cleanliness. I asked for my much needed shellac French manicure, which was done hastily and not well. Next to no time spent buffing and filing, and messy edges on my French.  At that point I was just desperately in need of something done with my nails, so I let it go. Now I'm sitting here 5 days later and 4 of my nails are significantly chipped. Shellac manicures are famed for staying on 1-2 weeks with not a chip in sight. VERY disappointed. I will not be going back. I'll be calling up my usual place (Queens Nails) to have this mess fixed. Read Less

i asked for Kelly because of a review, i got her. they offer drinks. she is very accommodating. i can be a tough client. i got stiletto acrylics and she did a great job. she made sure i was happy with her work all the way through. she did them just how i asked. its a nice place, no strong odors of chemicals, lots of pedi chairs! nice big TVs, lots of colors to choose from. I went here for my wedding day mani/pedi after reading positive reviews online. This place was so much more professional than other salons I have been to. The pedi I got was fantastic and the nail designs very well done. I also got gel nails which look great, even on my tiny fingers. The nail tech Tommy is a hoot, I would suggest asking for him if you want to be entertained. I feel like I got great service for a great value, and will look great on my wedding day! Read Less

When you walk in the salon...its a friendly greeting. i didnt make an apt. so i was grateful that they could fit me in. all i needed was a fill and one nail replaced. its really modern on the inside. i am completely happy with my nails. pretty sure i will be returning there. Kellys is great. I drive an hour to get there and go every two weeks. The prices are not too high and the service is wonderful. The girls are very polite and talk to you. I can understand them too, if you listen. I have all of my nails hand painted with a design and they are very long. I only pay $32. a pedi is $30 with a design on 2 toes and they spend 30 minutes at least on your feet and legs. So i completely disagree about the high pricing and bad job...... Read Less

this place cannot do acrylic nails, mine are crooked and have a messed up paint job. when the lady i had actually did talk, i couldn't understand a word!!!! this place is cheap.. until you want the nice lookin stuff. acrylic nails with blue tips? 30$.. with other design/colors 40$. forget that, for this price i could go somewhere and get a nice mani/pedi. My mom and I were looking to bond over mani/pedis, and our usual place was booked.  We drove around and stumbled upon this place.  Hallelujah!  The interior is soothing and spa-like.  We were seated immediately in THE BEST giant wonderful massage chairs that don't punch you or poke you in the cooter (see Vie's Nails review), offered drinks.  There were two plasma TVs playing the Game Show Network--perfect mindless entertainment for a spa service.  There were magazines, and tons of great high-quality polish colors.My manicure was performed in the massage chair whilst I was massaged, sipped bottled water, and soaked my poor feet by Kelly herself.  Efficient, relaxing, chip-free for over a week (unusual for un-ladylike me).  The pedicure was fabulous and adorable, and I even got lotus flowers with shiny stones on my toes!  All for the same price as everywhere else!
