Since I am New to the area I was nervous about going to a new nail salon. After calling around other salons I found on Yelp I chose glamour nails because they liquid gel acrylic nails. My appointment was with Michelle and she did a fine job. Actually she did a fantastic job and is one of the best I've seen anywhere in the country. I highly recommend her for gel sculptured nails. Not a huge fan, have had a better job done at other places. The manager was nice to give me a $15 coupon for the sort of haphazard job done on a few nails. Went back again only bc of the coupon and nail broke the next day. Not sure if it is the quality or if it was my fault. Would try it again if in the area. Bad. Bad. Bad. Dirty! Very strong smell. No one knew how to shape my nails, couldn't communicate well at all and cut me! Refused to put the drill down and use hand file. I almost walked out! I should have. Instead I let them continue because she kept insisting everything would be fixed in the next step. "not done yet" was her answer to anything I mentioned. Honestly I just wanted beautiful almond shaped nails that were smooth. I ended up with fat, wide and lumpy crap. They rushed and switched people three times!!! I told them I was very dissatisfied, they didn't care, didn't even offer to fix them to be smooth. Told me I was being picky! I said I shouldn't have to pay full price. She threatened to call the police on me, I decided to let her, he told me if I didn't pay in full regardless of my dissatisfaction and their terrible and dirty service, I would be stealing. So I paid and left. I asked the officer how to report them. He said BBB. BBB should shut them down.Read Less

This is a wonderful place to get nails & foot care. They autoclave their tools so they are not transferring fungus, etc. I appreciate the light, friendly atmosphere. It has been fun trying new styles & colors! Read Less

I visited this nail salon a few weeks ago when I was in town on business.  The staff was courteous and the salon seemed relatively clean.  I usually do not get pedicures at places I am not familiar with and honestly I wish I would have stuck to this in this circumstance.  For my pedicure I chose the spa pedicure, at least that is what I recall as the name.  Anyhow the tech put some callus remover on my feet.  After she put it on, it started burning.  I alerted her to this and she said just a few more minutes.  In hindsight, I should have told her to take it off immediately.  By the end of the pedicure my feet were still burning.   Two weeks later, I STILL have FOUR deep scabs on the bottom and side of my heel.  A few days ago, it was red and warm so my husband has been checking it for me daily because I cannot adequately examine it because of the location.  I am afraid I will have to see my doctor because it may be infected.  I would NEVER step foot into this place again and in good conscience would not recommend this place to anyone! Amazing ! I could understand her and she understood exactly what I wanted. My nails are perfect and she was super fast but efficient which I usually get fast but shitty. Will be going back for sure. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because she didn't make me wash my hands after which was weird and they were all dusty. Not sure if she just forgot or if they don't do that here. Relocating from the East Coast it was very hard to find a good nail salon with talented people. When I pick a place, there are few things that are important to me: talent of the manicurist and how clean are the instruments and tubs for the pedicure. The rest is just extra for me, for example, atmosphere and etc. When I come out from a nail salon i look for quality of work and eventually no nail infections. The owners are from CA, so they know and used to picky customers. If you are a picky customer this is your go to place. Michelle and Tony are great! They do a wonderful job! I am sure other guys are great too! In addition, that I haven't seen in any other place in the area before I became a regular customer, metal tools go through the sterilization process before they get used ( no blue antiseptic water!). If you are in the medical industry you know how important is this step. Additional 5 stars just for this!!! If you become a regular customer you can ask for your own tool box or even bring your own instruments and nail polishes of a different brand like I do. Otherwise, they have a huge selection of colors for any client. Great place and great guys!!! Too bad I am relocating to a different state and have to look for another place with talented people. This is hands down the worst mani pedi I have ever got. They are aloof and rushed my nails even though they were not busy. They kicked my shoes away and put there tools on my phone. The quality was horrific and I felt very uncomfortable inside. The smell of the salon is also sickening, the ventilation needs to be addressed. I will never return or recommend. Read Less

I don't understand all the five star reviews. Perhaps this business is paying Yelp to post only them. There is absolutely nothing special about this salon. Very typical. My pedicure was adequate, although the soles of my feet got minimum attention. Apparently, one has to pay $10 extra to get any treatment of callouses. There were some other disappointing things:* While all salons have a chemical scent from the various products that are used, this salon's chemical scent was really strong. It made me uncomfortable when I was on the manicure side of the shop picking out my polish. Perhaps they do not have good ventilation.* The selection of polishes seems to favor non-traditional colors. I have nothing against those nail colors, but I wanted a more traditional pink. Typically, I find half a dozen options that I like and have a hard time choosing. In this case, I had a hard time finding one that I liked. Perhaps this is also due to the fact that the colors are all mixed together on the four-sided rack, rather than being clustered by color.* In most salons, after one's nails are dry, one of the employees helps the customer put on her sandals and get out of the chair. No one showed any interest in helping me. I stood at the front counter waiting to pay until the young man reading his phone screen got around to coming over and helping me pay.* When it was time for my pedicure, the young man who did my nails stood by his pedicure stand and called to me to come over. I didn't hear him initially. At most salons, the stylist approaches the customer and accompanies her to the pedicure station. When I paid, I was given a punch card for a free something-or-other after ten visits. I left the card on the counter. I doubt that I will make ten visits to this salon. Read Less

I went here based off of the reviews on Yelp. I am so glad I did! I had my nails done for my trip to Mexico and it was $35 for a gel manicure. They had a large selection of colors to choose from and the guy who did my nails did a wonderful job. He was almost done and noticed a bubble in one of my nails, so he redid the nail so it was perfect. He was fast and did a great job, my manicure lasted for a month until I decided to get a new color put on.  This will be my go to place from now on, and I live in Green Bay, well worth the drive! I was visiting from out of town & picked this nail salon based on yelp reviews since I was in desperate need of a shellac manicure & didn't have time to go to my regular nail salon before my trip to Appleton, Wisconsin. I'm very picky about nail salons & religious go to my fav spot in FL. This adorably decorated salon was a fantastic substitute.The decor is very girly w/ pink walls & white furniture, leather sofas w/ a flat screen TV while you wait. Staff was friendly & welcoming. Each nail table has built in UV lights & they have very up to date pedicure chairs. I called ahead & made an appmt, they were ready for me when I got there. Soaked my shellac manicure off, got a good manicure, cut cuticles off & shaped my nails exactly how I asked. They had the expertise to know not to use the drill on my nails, which was great. Had a great Shellac color selection & my nails looked gorg. I was in/out in 40 mins & price was very reasonable. Shellac & manicure = $35. Read Less

I LOVE this place! I never go anywhere else! Everyone is amazing here! They can do any design you show them and it looks even better then the picture! It's very reasonably priced as well! The staff was very welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, and understanding! The atmosphere was beautiful, especially in comparison to other nail salons around the Fox Valley, with pink walls and white chairs. The guy who did my nails did a great job and I loved my manicure and pedicure! The only problem I had was that when I walked in, this was my first time, one of the female nail techs told me I could upgrade from a $35 mani/pedi to a $50 gel mani/basic pedi. When the male tech finished doing my nails he charged me $60, even though I told him the female tech told me $50. $70 after tip for a mani/pedi was the most I've ever paid, although I love my nails, I think the price was a bit too much! This is by far the cleanest nail salon I have been into in the Fox Valley region. It is decorated with pink and white tones and feels liek Summer as soon as you walk in. Michelle did a great job on my nails (Shellac manicure) and I will for sure be a returning customer. They are giving 20% of all nail services through May for their Grand Opening!
