Not recommended! Horrible experience! It's very close to my place so I decided to give it a try for mani-pedi. Wrong choice for a relaxing Saturday morning. The technician started with the pedicure. It was okay but the massage was nonexistent. Then she started the manicure and I got distracted. I noticed the same basket of tools that she was using for my toes, on my manicure table. Since I have a fungus in one of my toes nail, I asked if the tools were the same. I was worried about the fungus transferring to my hands. I think it is a valid question. She got offended and ask me "why are you asking that?" which I explained. She was Asian but responded in very clear English that if I wanted a high end place to go to Bellevue and if I had clean my nails more often I wouldn't have fungus. Are you kidding?? Super rude! I remember it being special to go to French nail salon . I won't go again . I was booked for a specific time and they were behind and I had a new person that didn't have time to finish all the services I wanted . There was no offer of tea or water.. no music and very little pampering .  They don't have enough people on staff to handle the clients they book. Read Less

I have been going to French Nail for about 8 months now for Shellac manicures and they are the best in Woodinville. The stations are clean and all the ladies do great work. Grace and Julie are my favorites.  I appreciate that they allow you to make an appointment and they staff well for walk ins too. If they are busy they will schedule a time for you to come back.  They take their time to make sure your nails look great when so many other places will accidentally cut you or not really clean up your cuticles just to get you in and out the door.  Pedicures are also a nice treat with hot stone massages in clean new chairs.  I have tried some of the newer salons but their quality of work just doesn't match French Nail. I love this place!  I've been going here for a little over 3 years now.  It's super clean, the ladies are the friendliest nail techs ever, and they do a fabulous job!  For the reviewers that are upset about not being able to get a walk-in appointment... it's because you need to call ahead and make an appointment.  Seriously, every time I've made an appointment (which is typically once a week, or every other week), I walk right in, and maybe have to wait a minute or two.  Call ahead, and you'll love the service you receive!  Highly recommend!  :) Read Less

This place doesn't even deserve one star. Came in for a shellac manicure and at the point where the tech started painting the first coat, she got through two nails and then removed the color from the nail she was working on and tried to reapply three times. She kept paining part of my cuticle and then went to move onto the next nail and I stopped her and looked and was shocked that she thought it was even remotely acceptable. She then asked me to pick a different color. I don't know if the brush was messed up or what but it looked like there was sand under the paint. It was the weirdest experience I've ever had at a nail salon, no joke. She couldn't figure it out. I asked her to just remove the color from the two nails and she said $15. Um...for what???? She didn't do anything? I gave her $5 for her few minutes and left. The other woman working there was a train wreck too. There was only one other patron in there. I have had pedicures here a few times and they are mediocre. The staff isn't very friendly and they rush through it. They say walk-ins are welcome but the 3 times I've recently tried to walk in they just tell me no and don't offer a time for me to come back. They've lost my service. Read Less

Walked in around 1 pm during the week.  Asked the technician at the first station what they charge for a new set of acrylic nails. I heard $40 then when I asked again she said $30 through her mask.I then asked if she had time to which she answered "No".  I  asked again thinking she could at least tell me how long the wait was and the answer was "No", this time with a frown.  (My spell checker kept trying to change "frown" to "grown", so it really is not good anyway you look at this word).I'd figured this is not the place for me, ever. I have been here twice, once many years ago as a group to get nails done for the prom and then a couple months ago to get a basic manicure. When my group went for prom, we made an appointment and it was wonderful, no wait and employees were still very thorough. When I went a couple months ago, it was also really good. I made an appointment in advance just in case. The gal who did my nails was very sweet, she didn't talk a lot but I was fine with that. She did a beautiful and thorough job on my nails (which are shorter and difficult, so I was impressed). I suggest going on a weekday evening if you can, because it will be quieter and just overall not rushed. Weekends seem to be a little crazier in there. Bottom line: overall great, 13$ for a really good manicure, sweet staff, VERY clean (sanitizing everywhere!), relaxing and cozy shop. I'm confused by anyone who gave this place a bad review, and the bad reviews seem to have this place confused with somewhere else! Read Less

I really liked this place, drove out of my way to go here, and only to end up disappointed. I have tried making appointments 3 times now only to be turned down. If you want a pink and white they will talk you out of it to do acrylic instead, because they either don't know how or don't want to spend the time. There are 3 other places in Woodinville I would go to over this place now.  I will not be a returning customer here. I gave 3 screw-up chances on their part and now I'm done with French Nail. I just drove all the way there, after making an appointment, only to have them turn me away, (seriously??). If you want shellac over acrylics it's going to be $55 btw. Seems a bit high to me. And pink and white they refuse to do. I recommend trying other places first. This one will screw you over soon enough. Too bad. Read Less

I love this place.  I miss their Duvall location, but have found it's worth the drive because I just can't get a decent pedicure anywhere else!  I also tried out the shellac nails just to see what all the fuss was about and it was great!  Lasted nicely for 3 weeks on me.  I went and had it done again at another salon and it was chipped next day.  They are great with my 5 year old daughter too.  I took her here for her first pedicure, so I think she'll have the very highest standards going forward.  :)  Prices are reasonable considering you get a fairly fancy pedicure treatment and it has nice ambiance.  The employees have always been pleasant to work with as well. The setting of this place is very warm and inviting. They don't have the standard strip mall 80's nail photos. The pedicure chairs are high quality and give a wonderful massage.The service is very good. I got a nice hot rock massage with my regular pedicure (they also have a Tea Tree one for a bit more). They did a very good job on waxing my eyebrows. The best was how wonderfully they fixed my nails. I had gone to Forever Nails previously (next to Target, terrrrible!) and they gave me the worst nails I've had in the longest time. They were able to make them look like they should. I used to visit this French Nail location years ago when it had just opened and came in once every two weeks to get acrylic fills.After many years without acrylics, I started them back up again. I had tried a few nail salons but was very disappointed with how they turned out and the overall cleanliness of the salons. So I decided, why not go back to French Nail, where I used to get my nails done to see how they compare.The color scheme of the interior is one of my favorite aspects of this nail salon. Definitely not your everyday white, lack luster interior that I'm used to.Ivy did my pedicure and acrylic fills and she was absolutely phenomenal! She was very nice and did such an amazing job on my fills. She was gentle and paid great attention to detail. It was obvious that she took pride in her work. I was so impressed with the finished product!Such a clean nail salon too. Everything gets put in the sanitizer immediately.I will definitely be back in less than two weeks for fills! Read Less

I went to this location after the Kirkland location told me that I would have to wait an hour. I decided I would trek out to Woodinville even though by the time I fought traffic it was nearly an hour later. That was a few months ago and I will not be going anywhere else to get my nails done. I appreciate the spa feel and it isn't overly crowded when I go (generally at 5pm on a work day). I trek out that way from Kirkland for a fill once a month. Read Less

Actually, I lLOVED this place - it was the most sanitary nail salon I've ever been to.... I loved the technicians as well - Rosa and Liz were very professional.  What I DID NOT love was being booked for an appointment ...and then coming in for the appointment only to find that it was "xxx's day off"... this happened to me not once or twice...but three times.  And for me...three strikes and you're out.  This was not Rosa or Liz's fault, but the fault of management who put in place the front desk gals who did not speak English well enough to understand (or else they choose NOT to understand) my request.  I am sad because I haven't found another place I like better...but I feel this was just very bad business. This is such a great place. Very friendly and nice staff; clean tools; brand new building complex; and good prices. Usually after I get a fill, I always have to go back and refile my nails so their shorter, or more even, etc. But not here. Rosa did an amazing job on my fill and it was only $18!
