Did this place used to be called "Soleil?" I visited it again for the first time in a few years, and it has gone downhill. The staff, although kind and attentive, were kind of ragged. The guy that did my pedi seemed annoyed that I was just getting a regular mani/pedi and not a shellac or something more expensive. Also, when I went to the back room to get my eyebrows waxed, I was appalled at how shabby and dirty it seemed. When I paid my bill, I gave between a 15-20% tip like I usually do for any service. They asked me and my friend if we wanted shellac instead of regular polish and didn't inform us of the MAJOR price difference so when they rang is up we had to spend $50 more each than we were expecting. They did the same thing to the woman in front of us. When my friend asked for a receipt, the cashier took a blank sheet of paper and wrote down and the services she got so she didn't have to show her the actual receipt with the actual RIDICULOUS prices. They used to do a great job, but as of the last half year, I've noticed nail technicians do a poor to terrible job. They're ok with shellac, but my nails have become very thin and damaged b/c of how much they file them down.I was offered the "new quick dip" nails (found out later that it was $40). It lasted me less than a week rather than the 4 weeks it should have. The lady who "specializes with quick dip" at this salon did them for me. I came in and had them removed (b/c they were chipping in 5 days) was a sticky mess by a 16 or 17 yr old boy who left my hands with the residue all over my fingers. I pointed this out the the receptionist and she apologized and did a proper manicure. Glad they did the removal for free. I declined any color b/c my nails needed a break badly at this point. Not planning to come here again, although manager Lex is super kind and friendly and he does an amazing job at decorating for every single holiday. It was so fun! This is such a cute set up. The staff is usually very welcoming and chatty (most of them). I always come for my eyebrows and Won does a wonderful job. Five stars for eyebrow waxing. My latest visit I decided to do a manicure with acrylics again after a few months without. The receptionist was friendly enough and very kind. My nail technician (i cannot remember her name unfortunately) wasn't very talkative, which is fine. I decided to get shellac, right off the bat a little extra cost, also usual. Once she started on my nails she continuously coughed on me with no effort to cover or look away. She asked if I wanted my cutículas cut, obviously I thought this was including in the manicure price but she decided it was an extra $5 because I had so much cuticle to cut... okay. She continues and then her phone rings. She pauses to pick up and continues on while talking on the phone. She cuts my thumb because of this and causes me to bleed. Bummer. I chose my color and it was one of the chrome ones. After I'm seated, she tells me it's an extra $10 because it's chrome... I've had acrylics for two years and was never charged extra for chrome.. okay. Once it came time to pick my shape I told her I wanted almond shape, what I usually get. She tells me it's an extra $5... what? At this point I just feel cheated. Apparently round and square are included and anything else is extra.. also have never heard of this. It's all over and I'm looking at my nails and they look... mediocre. Not like I paid $60 for. Not worth the $60. She had layered the acrylic powder too thickly making my nails look like a joke and obviously fake while I try going for a more natural look. In the end I will come back for my eyebrow waxing with Won but never again will I come back for nails. I'm very disappointed, frustrated and unhappy with the result. This is my favorite place to get my nails done. The atmosphere is freest, they bring you water and tea, and give a little massage while you are waiting for your nails to dry. Super sanitary and nice. The people here are amazing, so friendly and helpful. I was never pushed into getting more than I wanted. First thing the chair I sat in wouldn't work on my neck and shoulders - I asked for help thinking it was me who couldn't run the remote. No, the chair was broken - without a bat of an eye they immediately moved me to one that did work. Kept my water full and cold. Just before I was done, the lady next to me accidentally spilled her lunch on the floor. The young man running the counter offered to ho buy her more food from somewhere near... I have been a loyal customer for quite some time at this nail place and keep in mind I don't live in the area. My last experience was beyond horrid- My service wasn't anything special this time around and I didn't get a shoulder massage like I normally do with the manicure service. When I went to pay for my service, I added a tip and after I've made my transaction, the manicurist started questioning my tip amount. Completely unacceptable. If I don't receive top notch service,... I will not tip you generously. She then told me to slide my card again, but before I could respond- she took my care and inserted it herself! She then told me to hit the green accept button. I took a look and she tried charging me $8 for the tip amount. I was beyond shocked. I did not enter that amount nor did I authorize it. She then told me she doesn't know why it says that amount and that I entered it myself. Crazy! She then ran off and some guy stepped in and told me he would refund my money. These are completely unacceptable services practices. Lex- your staff is not allowed to control my money and even put their hands on my card. Your establishment is not a high end one and I don't feel that tips are required, especially if I did not enjoy my service fully. I'm still waiting on my refund of $8.44. I've had the regular and spa peficures, as well as shellac manucures here several times now and been very pleased.  Tracy is my favorite!They do serve tea or water,  but the guy who has done it the past couple times only seems to offer it to some customers (not sure what his criteria is...), so ask if you want it. Really, really terrible service. Nail ladies were laughing at and mimicking me and my friend, and charged my friends mom an extra $110 because my friend jokingly asked me "How old am I?" When they asked, and apparently they took that to mean that we were lying about our age to make the mani/pedis cost less (we're both 12). The lady doing my friend's moms nails was also extremely rushed and rude. They ended up giving a gift card to re-pay her mom, but the manicures and pedicures we have now are pretty awful. According to the women there, my nails were "fully dry". But now, nearly 2 hours later, they are dented and chipping. Really sad because I got these nails for my 6th grade graduation which is in two days, and my nails are already messed up. Do yourself a favor, DON'T come here. Read Less

This place has gone down hill so much. It used to be my favorite nail salon but now every time I go in there, the massage chair never works, the nail tech just hurries through the pedicure and I just get a mediocre pedi. The water for my feet is always cold and therefor I am cold the whole time I am getting a pedi. Not relaxing at all. Lex your place has gone WAY downhill in my opinion! Not worth the $ I spend. I've come from Issaquah to get my nails done there for years as, no matter who does my nails, they are always beautifully done. I went in because the manicure (shellac) I received the day prior was already peeling and the tips of my nails were rough. I was fully expecting to pay for the polish removal but not the entire color change - which is only $5 less than the full shellac price!Cheap and tacky practice for a business that considers itself a classy place.They've also been out of my first choice colors on recent visits. I've had a couple great experiences at this location in the past, so I was excited that I had found "my nail salon". So I was really disappointed with my experience 2 weeks ago. Service: Pedicure and shellac maniCons:The young lady who did my mani tore up my cuticles. I mean, she actually pulled and ripped them. Four of my fingers bled. One of my fingers wouldn't stop bleeding. She kept applying a clotting agent (directly to my hand, touching the tip to my open wound, ew!) She thought I hadn't noticed, and was trying to get it to stop before I did. I said "oh look, I'm bleeding" and she then acted like she just noticed.  Finally, she just gave up on trying to get it to stop bleeding, and painted the shellac over the blood that started to fill the crease of my nail, so I had dried blood permanently in my polish. I was really uncomfortable with having the uv light device resting precariously on my lap. If it were to fall into the pool of water my feet were sitting in, that would be bad news. Pros:The lady who did my toes was amazing.(I want to say her name was Evelyn, but I can't remember). She was very kind, and did an incredible job. 19 days later, my toes still look great.The manager was very helpful when I told him that I wasn't happy with my manicure, and he gave me a partial refund when I showed him my cuticles. I felt really bad telling them, because I didn't want to get the girl in trouble, but my finger were actually throbbing, and even over 2 weeks later, my cuticles still haven't healed.So, I'm note sure if I'll be giving this salon another chance. This place is one of the cutest and cleanest nails salons I've been to! It doesn't smell of nail polish and other fumes and the place is decorated so nicely. We were welcomed at the door and unlike every other place I've been to we weren't rushed to get seated or pick colors. Everyone was patient and so kind! We were even offered something to sip on (coffee, tea, and water!) Tracy did my nails and Henry did my friend's- those two were so fun to chat with- it almost felt like ...we had been friends for a while as opposed to meeting for the first time! It really was a welcoming place and I've never felt so comfortable. If you sign up with them then your 10th time there you get a discount or something free (I don't remember specifically) and a 50% off for your birthday (expires 15 days after the date of your bday). I use to love this place but have had multiple bad experiences with my nails and recently got a massage and would not recommend it! It is so unsanitary. They have you lay on a rock hard table with paper covering 2/3 of the table. The paper soaks up the oils and would make no difference if it was on it or not. Not only that but as I was getting a massage an employee walked in! This was an extremely stressful experience and I will not be going back after being a loyal customer for 4 years the service here has gotten worse and worse. Read Less

I finally had my last bad experience at the salon this week....went in to have my acrylic nails taken off, replaced by a shelac manicure...what I got was pure torture; the nail tech began by trying to remove my acrylics with a fake nail, trying to lift them off, the ones she got up hurt so bad that I got tears in my eyes. Finally, the other gal working with her told her to soak them off. I will never be back, and will never recommend. I have had a bad experience every time I walk thru the door from having to wait in the pedi. chair for up to 45 min. to get my acrylic fill done, to not enough polish on my nails to cover...ugh. Had the most horrible first time experience here today - on Valentines Day of all days. First - English as a first language was definitely a barrier. When asked about color, I replied I would like clear color toes and French manicure. Well, apparently the guy couldn't translate clear color, as he did not put ANY polish on my toes. I asked for the deluxe manicure and pedicure. I got NO foot massage or leg massage with my pedicure. Maybe a ten second hot rock massage on my calf; maybe a 15 second scrub on my heel. For the manicure, the lady put the wet towels from my arm wrap on top of me (my shirt and my pants) so I ended up leaving with wet clothing. I am a very satisfied, returning customer and I would highly recommend this place to every lady out there! The workers at this salon speak very good English and they are extremely inviting. I am always welcomed when I walk in and offered one of the different complimentary cups of tea they have. They take their time when they work on your nails and things never feel rushed.
