today i tried to get a full set twice in this same location. i came in once this morning (around 11am) thinking it wouldnt be too busy, which it wasnt, i waited around 10 minutes just to be greeted and told i would need to wait an hour, happily i left, and came back around 1 pm to waste half an hour for them to just ignore my existance, but went to help a lady who came in after me. rude. I've been coming a few months. Gel manicures have been great 4/5 times and all (basic) pedicures as well. Complaint is lackluster lotion application and massage and how they make you sit at the very uncomfortable and high center table unless you ask to be moved. Noticed this salon has the same issue that is caused me to change salons last time. If I schedule an appointment in advance then I expect to be seen not too long after I arrive. The past two times I've had to wait 15 minutes and today when I arrived for my scheduled appointment I was told it would be half an hour and they could only do one of my two requested services. This was after they tried to get me to come back tomorrow. I left and am looking for another salon. Read Less

Never will I go here again. I asked for gel polish change. Was told it was 18 dollars. I told them no manicure. All said and done it was 27 dollars. Guess I paid 9 dollars for lotion. I'll definitely stick with my regular nail lady. Not impressed. Plus they were super rude. Read Less

I made an appointment for 215 and they didn't start my pedicure til 240, left me in the chair with cold water for almost 30 minutes! My wait time was longer than the pedicure itself and they are over priced for what they provide. Will not be returning. Read Less

I have my tried and true salon where I usually get my nails done but today I decided on a whim to try this place, since I read so many good reviews on yelp.I made the appt, I showed up, and they got right to the appt.  I had a broken and severely torn nail and Kevin was able to lay something over the top to create a new nail (and keep it from tearing more - into the quick).  Kevin did an outstanding job - I love my nails and the cross design I asked him to paint.Prices were more expensive than my other place but I felt the service was better.The salon was very clean, modern, comfortable, and there were no fumes.I will definitely go back. I really wanted to LOVE this place.  I have been there twice.  The first time was pretty good.  So I decided to give it another shot as I am really looking for a regular place to go.  It is a clean place and they have lots of options.  I was there today, and it was terrible. The person who did my pedicure rushed through it.  It wasn't relaxing, and my toes were not cleaned up very well.  It seemed like I had my toes under the drying light longer then it took him to do my pedicure.  I am super disappointed.  I may give it one more try just because it is a clean place.  There was a gal that took her time with the lady bedside me.  I want her to help me next time.  I wanted to ask for a card with her name one it when I was checking out, but I didn't want to be rude.  Hopefully she is there next time I go. This salon gives the best pedicure I've had! They always get out my ingrown toenails (TMI I know but normally places hide them and make them worse! since I have been coming here, I have no problems, and I go in every 3-4 weeks!) Called a day in advance and scheduled an appointment. Arrived early thinking it would assist them as it was the weekend. After being instructed to sit and wait, I wasn’t served until 20 minutes after my scheduled time. There was a constantly screaming child the entire time and the gentleman who appeared to be running the place was barely civil. To too it off they severely overcharge for basic services. Easy place to find! Service is great. Thomas and the other ladies are excellent. My nails are perfect and he just did a refill. Had a bad experience with gel before but Thomas changed that for me. Always pleased with the services provided at Nail Creations!  Staff is always friendly and fun, and my nails look awesome.  I get the liquid gel service and highly recommend checking out any of their services.  The pedicures are on my list - they look really amazing.  Prices are good and the people are great! I absolutely adore this salon and their staff. I regularly get my nails done every 2 weeks and enjoy my time spent there. Unlike most salons, I feel relaxed and the atmosphere is inviting. It doesn't smell like the chemicals of nail polish! The nail techs always take into consideration what you want. They are never hurt by you being very specific! My suggestion is to make an appointment a little earlier than you would want, every once in a while they get a bit slammed and they really do care about quality for their guests and not pushing them out the door. So sometimes you do need to wait a little after your appointment time depending on the day. But please know it's worth it since they care so much about their guests satisfaction. Read Less

Just went in for a gel manicure and the nails turned out fine, color was pretty but the overall experience was very dissatisfying. The woman working with me did not speak to me once and the entire time I listened to the woman next to me complaining about her clients to her client. I found this extremely rude, especially for how loud she was being. I was hoping to get a neck/shoulder massage for the price but you only get a mediocre hand massage. Don't let the nice ambience deter you, save your money and go somewhere that actually cares about their clients and does the same quality job. Won't be returning here again. Read Less

Got my nails done here for the first time. I must say its located in an easy parking lot. Always a plus, and their sign is clear, and easy to see. I made an appointment with Thomas for acrylic fill / gel nail design. He did a great job. His gf who works there finished up my nail color and design. Pro: pricing is very competitive and good. Only con: didn't get offered water, and I was actually really thirsty. I would recommend offering water as a gesture for when clients walk in. I recommend this salon to anyone new in town, guys / gals looking for an upgraded salon with competitive pricing, or to just switch it up. I will be coming back when I'm in town again. Read Less

I don't know what the hype about this place is. It seems like all the other shops. My daughter and I stopped by. I wanted to get a pedi and my daughter was getting a full set. They asked and we told them. There was miscommunication problem somewhere. They thought my daughter was getting both so they were taking others before me for the pedi. Rushed pedicure and poorly done nail art. It is also very hard to communicate with the majority of the staff. They upcharge EVERYTHUNG, too. While the location is clean and pretty, it is also new, so that is expected in a new facility. I wouldn't recommend them for anything more than a nice looking location. Read Less

Being my 1st time at this place and my 2nd time having a pedi. I'm a newbee to the whole pedicure. This place was great. I didn't have an appointment but, was greeted, seated, and soaking 5 mins after entering the door.  They were a bit busy by the looks of it.  The lady that did my pedicure wasn't  much of a talker, well 2 not 2 me that is but, was gentle, thorough, and quick yet not rushing. Again being a novice I'm not sure what all is expected in a pedicure. Different establishments have their own ways. But, the care, time and massage here was GOOOD! Even after having a goof up trying 2 get in the car, messing up my big toe, they welcomed me back in and fixed my goof up quickly.  Next time I think I'll take my daughter and mayB my husband whom could soo use a pedicure jus 2 relax his feet. After almost a year in the area and trying numerous salons spanning from Tacoma to Tumwater, I've finally found my favorite nail salon! Everything was exceptionally clean, the nail techs were all funny, kind, personable, and very knowledgeable about the work they were doing. The cost of the services provided were explained to me thoroughly and prior to the services being rendered. There is also a list of prices for the services as you walk in. It's new so I tried it out based on a friend's recommendation. On Memorial Day when most of the world is off, they had 4 people working...with room for at least 10. I asked for a mani/pedi and got a manicure first. It was way too quick (maybe 25min, including gel soak off) as they needed to usher me in and out to the next client (5 people waiting). Still have freakin hangnails and my gel polish was still wet.The absolute WORST was she asked if I wanted them cut or filed. I said filed a bit and absolutely NOT cut and went back to reading my book. But before I knew it, she cut ALL my nails down below the skin cause one broke this weekend and she said she "wanted to make them all the same length" (twice as short as the 9 other nails). As a nail biter, getting them to any kind of length is such an accomplishment and she chopped them to nothing even after I expressly asked her not to. It took everything in me to not burst into tears right there. But I did in the car. NEVER coming back and discouraging everyone to do the same. Pretty place I guess, but not good people or a good experience in the least. In fact they totally ruined my day. I got out of there before my pedicure, not letting these people touch my nails again. **UPDATE** it has now been about a month since my service at this facility and I continue to deal with pain in my left big toe from them messing up. I now have to seek MEDICAL ATTENTION because of it. I have never had a service so poorly executed by a "professional" before. I don't normally go around leaving bad reviews but this is something I felt needed to be shared. I went in on a Friday and one of the services I received was the $35 pedicure. It is now Tuesday of the following week and my toes still hurt really bad. The lady with the long hair "removed my ingrown toenail" which is a service I have had at least 50 times before this and I have NEVER been left in pain for DAYS before this experience. It doesn't matter if I'm walking or if I'm sitting still, they just hurt all the time. The day of I noticed they had been bleeding even. I can honestly say I will never get a pedicure here again and I recommend you don't either. The only thing getting the 2 stars instead of 1 in the guy that did my full set was really nice and I liked how clean the place felt (New building so it should be clean). Read Less
