I had a Groupon and made an appointment with Megan, which I then had to reschedule. She accommodated me both when I had to reschedule and when I was late for my appointment. I gave Megan a pretty brief description of what I wanted, without really knowing... I got an awesome asymmetrical bob cut and love it! My hair often just feels heavy but Megan managed to clean it up and make it look (and smell) amazing! I will be back regularly for more haircuts.On another note, I've had a lot of stylists try to convince me to color my prematurely white/grey hair, and Megan didn't do that at all! Instead, she used a purple shampoo for me. I can definitely  appreciate a stylist who recognizes that my color is a part of my style and doesn't try to change it! Read Less

Wish I COULD review this business, but I can't seem to get an appointment, or keep one. I"ve had 3 scheduled with this salon, and they've all been cancelled due to "stylist does not do this service", or "we do no do that service at that location".  Why don't they know when booking the service, who does what and where?  Very frustrating.  I was SO HOPEFUL to find a place for all services. Such a great salon! Megan the owner is wonderful and has been cutting my hair for about a year and a half now. I have a ton of difficult, long curly hair and have struggled to find someone who has a clue as to what to do with it. I got my hair colored at Rare Beauty and spa. The color is not exactly what I asked for. I wanted red highlights and got reddish, purple instead. I like the color though. It's been a week now and each time I wash my hair it leaves pink stains on the towel. You would think that my color would be set better than that. I have used the shampoo and conditioner that I purchased there, so I know that is not the problem. You would just think that if you pay that much money to get your hair done, the color would be set better. Read Less

I had my hair colored the day previous to my appt with Megan at a different salon. Trying to go lighter balayage from my dark color. I came to Megan looking quite orange, for a Brazilian blowout. She consulted with me about the blowout making sure I knew exactly what I'd be getting, threw in a toner job for free (leaving me, thankfully, much less orange) and gave me tips on what to ask for at my next appt. I really wish I could say I had a great experience here as I emailed Megan the owner back and forth about my hair prior to coming in and was sooo excited for my appointment. But when I came in for my scheduled appointment the woman checking me in and Megan both looked confused so I went to sit with another costumer in the waiting room while they figured everything out. No one came to tell us what was going on, she continued to style someones hair and I could hear them talking about how they double booked us, "verify their names", "check my schedule". Instead of just coming over to explain the situation or seeing if one of us could reschedule and not waisting our time, so I waited in hopes I misheard or misunderstood the issue. She finished 2 peoples hair before even talking to us. At this point it was 40 minutes past my appointment time and when Megan finally came over she said it would be another 15 minutes...almost an hour after my scheduled appointment. When I asked what was going on because it was clear we had been double booked her response was "I always work doubled booked". As the owner she should have taken a minute to come chat with me 40 minutes ago to let me know she was running late but she was full of excuses and her apology was an "I'm sorry you feel that way" at the end of our conversation. She was short and defensive. Needless to say I did not stay for my "service" and will not be recommending this place. Read Less

I was looking to fix the disaster that was my hair lightening hot mess from a previous salon.  I made an appointment with Megan and showed up with low expectations because my previous experience.  Megan did a phenomenal job on my hair!
