I have been going to Kayla Nails for over a year and I absolutely love Kayla and her team! They are always friendly, they are quick and do such a good job. If your looking for your stereotypical nail salon come here. I quote "your finger crooked." It was with out a doubt my nail not finger. I've never had a issue before. I gave them numerous try, I'm not one to not. Everytime my nails were livable but not loved. And not livable by others most times. From the minute I walked in the environment was welcoming. The owner  offered me water multiple times.  She also helped me pick out the perfect color polish to match my ruby color needs.When I came in the lady who ended up doing my nails was getting her nails done.They looked cute. The 4 star is because all the nails salons surrounding require an apt, this place let me do a walk in.  My nails were really long but some damaged before doing so she made sure it was okay to trim them. Before clipping she made sure the length was going to be okay. I had my nails painted for the 4th when I came in my nails were mostly blue polished, I say this because when I left with my ruby red nails I noticed on two nails some blue polish left over still.So for the quality of that nail stylist I give a 3 star.Most of the time she was staring at the women next to her chatting heavily. She did look at me a few times and smile. It was probaly a language barrier.  Thats okay. I still tipped her 5. I still give  4 star over all rating and that again is because of the availability.  Also because the  owner was very nice. I would love her to do my nails next time.  As long as this color stays for at least 14 days I will return.  I really feel this place could improve in the following ways:1. Offer something to people when they check in with yelp, for example 20% off pedicures or next  20% off next nail appointment.  These days you need to be competitive. 2. hold  a conversation with the client not your co worker. It's sad when you spend $35 for nails being done and they look like crap!! I still had left over old polish still on my nails that were just cover over with acrylic. They are I'm such a hurry and don't care about giving customers great nails that they are paying for. Will NEVER return. Very disappointed with my experience today. Read Less

After I move to Tacoma I been searching nail salon and been to few finally found one I like, all the staffs are very friendly and service was excellent too. Second time I went my nail technician remember me and did great job. I'm so happy to found the place I can go for long future. Read Less

I am new to Tallahassee, & I was having a hard time finding a place that was close to what I was used to back home. When you walk into 7 Day Spa, they are friendly, they greet you with a smile, they are clean & presentable. I sat down with Michelle, who is absolutely FABULOUS & is now may new nail tech that I will continue to go to from here on out! I have seen some of the other's work & they are all beautiful as well. I hadn't had a pedicure in almost 3 months and received probably the best one ever at Kayla's Nails! I was welcomed immediately, there was no wait and I felt pampered. Not only do I have beautiful toes with a very pretty design, but my feet are smooth. Kim did a fabulous job and there was no "cheese grater" used, just a pumice stone and man did she get a workout on my callused feet. Got a infection from this place.. What I thought was going to be a relaxing day with my wife turned into bad bad infection... They were slammed with a wedding party when me and my wife had ours and they paid very little attention to us cause they knew they were gonna get more money from the party... My nails were looking rough, so I decided to do an aesthetic favor for all of the people in my daily life by getting a fill. I just returned to WA after 5 years of living out of state, so I figured I would go to my old spot, Athena Nails. To my surprise, it was now called Kayla's Nails.Upon walking in, the staff was very friendly! Kayla was very personable, prompt and talented. I was in and out within 45min - which included a small wait. I'm not super picky but I like my nails thin, short and square-round...but more square than round. I didn't have to describe this to Kayla; she asked if I want them cut down and if I want them square-round, I said yes to both (...possibly added "the shorter the better"...) and VOILA, my nails were beautiful again, just how I like them!Highlights:-Friendly Staff-Clean tools-Fast Service-Competitive Prices ($5-10 cheaper)I took 1 star off because it is small, both in the salon and the parking lot.
