This was my first time going to City Nails and I'm hooked! They are so friendly, accommodating, and talented. I got an organic papaya pedicure which was amazing. I've been going here for about a year and I'm always happy with the results! The workers are always super nice and friendly and do great work. Prices are cheaper than most nail salons, with equivalent or better work!! And they usually have good stuff showing on the TVs as well lol! Definitely recommend this place. Read Less

This place is awesome. Customer service A=, services A+, and cleanliness A+. I called on 3/9 to make an appointment on 3/14 for six pedis for a going away party. Kim- who answered the phone had the best customer service and booked me with no problem. We showed up at our scheduled time, and they got all of us set up with feet in warm water and massage chairs on. They offered us water or soda, and they got to work. Really great place! Clean, efficient and tons of color choices. I really loved the woman and man who did my nails today. While I was getting my pedicure she started my full set and was extremely attentive to the shape I wanted. Very accommodating staff they helped both my friend and myself when we were exactly sure what we wanted. I started searching and even though there was at least 10 salons between my home and City Nails I chose to try them based on the great reviews! I'm SO glad I did! I have went to a few other places on Mildred and it's either too packed or they herd you around to make sure they get $$ rather than give good service. Stopped by on a whim today since I was in the area and I'm glad I did! I came in with lumpy and misshapen gel nails that I had done somewhere else not quite two weeks ago. The ladies took their time with my fill and made sure my nails were beautifully reshaped and cleaned up. It was very clean and welcoming inside and not too busy at all! I always get a polish change because all the clipping and buffing messes with my skin, usually this means I receive less attention (because a it's cheaper) but the wonderful ladies (and gentlemen) at City nails treated me like all their clients. Came here for first time the other evening (Wednesday) after work. No wait time, good selections of polishes and pedicure methods. Staff were friendly, thoughtful, and the salon was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the massage chair and relaxation time. Deluxe paraffin pedicure priced $30 was well done by Scott and I'll be back! Just moved back to the area and needed a nail salon and my first priority is always cleanliness. From the photos on yelp and the "newness" of this salon I decided to give it a try. Let's just say this is my new nail salon and I will be going here from here on out! The salon is beautiful and extremely clean, I have a huge fear of infections I've seen or heard about from nail salons so that's usually why it's the most important thing I look for. As for the utensils, I didn't see them taken out of the sanitizer because I wasn't near that area but just by looking at them on the tray I could tell they were definitely clean. They clean the pedicure tubs every time, have tons of colors to choose from and on top of that the owner is SO nice. This is my favorite nail salon in the area! Everyone is so friendly and I enjoy my experience every time. The owner is so sweet and they even remember my name! By far the sweetest staff I've ever experienced. My nails always look great. I get the gel and it lasts over 2 weeks, and I'm extremely hard on my nails. I already have a nail salon that I like, but since I live now in UP I've been looking for a closer place. I spotted this place on my way home from the gym and decided to give it a try. It has been two weeks since I got my nails done and they still look decent. However, I was not very pleased with their services. I came in on a Thursday afternoon and I was the only person there, and being the only customer I expected a better service, but they made me feel they did not appreciate my business. First of all, I didn't even get a "hello". The lady who did my nails spent the whole time speaking in her native language to a man who was across the room (I'm guessing was the owner) and made me feel very uncomfortable. I felt she was rushing to finish my nails. When she was done, she asked to remove my jewelry to give me a "massage" and the only think she did was applied TONS of hand-lotion to my hands that I had to wash them in order to get rid of all the extra hand-lotion.
