I was sitting in the car before my appointment reading the reviews for Top Line Nails and Spa and was feeling a little skeptical when I walked in. Now that I've experienced it for myself I can tell you this is not a fantastic place. The staff was very quick, they didn't talk much (which for me, was fine), the selection of nail polish colors was good, and everything seemed very hygienic. However, they are not upfront with prices and tack on fees for every tiny thing. They let you choose but don't tell you the price until it's already on you. Worst Nail Place in the WORLD. I feel like I'm in Cambodia when I walk in this place just by the bad smells. If you want to throw up, then please be my guest and just try it for yourself. If you are crazy enough to get your nails done here, you will regret it and end up ripping them off when you get home. So save a trip and just throw your money down the toilet. Read Less

Did a terrible job. Completely ruined my skin around my nails by sanding it down and not only did I have to ask them to redo it once but twice and they were still messed up and the lady said they were fine when there were mixed colors (I wanted matte black and there were white speckles all over) the lady when putting on the final layer made it streaks and didn’t cover it completely and after I asked they said I was done so I had to put a full top coat on myself. Shouldn't even be giving them 2 stars, but I have had only experience with their pedicure. Wednesday before Thanksgiving I called around 11 AM to see if they could fit me in at 5 knowing it was going to be busy for holiday. They replied yes, took my name and hung up the phone. I got there 7 mins early. Mind you this is my first time here. It took them a couple of minutes to say hello. Then pointed for me to pick a nail color which was a pretty big selection. As I watched a worker fill my station with water someone who had already gotten their nails done (I could tell was a regular) asked if they had time for a pedicure sat her down in my seat then proceeded to talk really fast to get me to say that I was okay with it. I let it go knowing I needed my toes done to wear heels. I waited 8 more minutes to step into water that was boiling hot. I told the woman who was going to work on my nails (I was told she was not going to be working on my nails she seemed more like an assistant) this and she did not do much of anything. She clipped and dug into my nails weirdly. Just looked off into the distance and said pre-determined sayings because she did not speak English. Massaged my legs for an extremely long time which would have been nice if her own pointy natural nails would have stopped digging into the bottom of my foot. Placed an extremely hot towel over my legs which I asked her to take off, but  I imagine the language barrier would be the reason. Did not apply 2nd coat to all of my toes and left me sitting there for nearly 30 mins to dry them while she scrubbed other basins. During this whole "pedicure" the older woman who copped my seat spoke to me like a caveman because she could tell I was half Asian and thought I didn't speak English well. And the owner let her keep her phone call on speaker phone which I could tell was also annoying the other customers as well. While halfway through my service I watched another woman sit down in a chair where the basin had not been clean. And old man with fungus ridden feet sat there right before. After the 30 mins of waiting for the one who did my pedicure to come back I got up on my own accord slipped my own flip flops on and walked up to pay. I asked her where to place my used toe spreaders and she took them out of my hand which I thought was gross. She said $24.00 which was one less than on the board. I figured because she didn't have to cut my toe nails that much that's why. I left a cash tip and scratched out the tip part on the receipt. I got a $25 charge on my bank account anyway when I looked later.It would have been a real convenience to go here for me they really lost out on a potentially long business relationship. Or maybe I lost out which I don't think is so bad seeing as I got a nasty infection from this place. Read Less

I made an appointment for two pedicures. They got us in slightly before our appt time which was nice. They were very busy. The temperature of the water to soak my feet in wasn't very warm but no one came back to check. Once my tech sat down I said hi and asked how her day was...she said hi back and left it at that. I watched her dump out a basket with some used instruments and old foils that were pulled off of someone else's fingers or toes. She put the instruments on her work station and then trashed the old foils. After taking my old nail polish off, she proceeded to pick up a DIRTY instrument!!! I asked her, if they were dirty,  she said, "Oh, you want clean ones?" ..... UM YEAH! Bottom line....that is disgusting and can spread fungus! IF YOU HAVE TO ASK FOR CLEAN INSTRUMENTS, THEY SHOULDN'T BE IN BUSINESS! Read Less

I strongly suggest an appt if you go on the weekend especially. I called and they said 10 minute wait which was totally fine because I was 10 minutes away. Was seated right away and only waited 2-3 minutes for someone to prep my nail polish removal (I had shellac and those of you that have had shellac know it's a bit more of a process to remove it) I had a french tip manicure with shellac. The guy that did my nails (didn't catch his name), did a pretty good job, not the best but I am pretty happy with how they look. Price wise it is pretty much the same as where I used to go when I lived further North... it was $30 for shellac manicure with french tips (white tips for newbies). I would go there again but think I will try to find a place I love a little closer to where I live. Read Less

One of the best gel manicures I've ever had! I went in and DD was my manicurist. She was very sweet and SO thorough. I am pretty good about keeping my nails clean and painted, but she went to TOWN on my cuticles. My nails looks amazing. I will be going back to see DD for future manicures! Read Less

This salon was my favorite, until I brought a friend with me to get mani/pedis. It was a Sunday afternoon and they were a bit busy. We were happy to wait and said so, it gave us a chance to catch up. After a 20-25 minute wait, we were seated in the pedi chairs and 2 ladies started to help us. The woman doing my pedi, told me in no uncertain terms that the next time I planned to come in with a friend, I should make a reservation.   Had we come in separately would she have said something? I doubt it. Unfortunately, as business women, sometimes planning ahead and trying to schedule around work and families is difficult. This was a whim, a one time spa afternoon. By this time, we were the only two clients in the salon, so I felt her admonition was a bit unnecessary. I felt they were worth another try, so I have gone back a couple of times since. I have felt rushed, my services are not performed in a professional manner, and I no longer feel like they value my business. I went here for the first time a couple of day ago and left very happy!The place is big and clean and the gentleman that did my spa pedicure did the most thorough job I've just about ever had on my feet. A vast improvement from the former place I used to frequent. I will return for sure. Read Less

I disagree with the other review on this page completely. I also went for an acrylic set and they came out gorgeous. I asked for a square shape, but not too square, and they gave me the perfect shape. They were painted very nicely, and were very clean looking. Definitely my new place to go. Read Less

I was disappointed in the service I received- expected more after reading the reviews.  I called and verified they took walk-ins, which they do.  However, I felt the staff rushed through my mani/pedi.  The young woman doing my pedicure forgot to paint my toenails before she went on to another customer and the young man doing my manicure left the edges of the nails rough.  But at least he did paint my toes once I pointed out the job was unfinished.  Although the atmosphere was nice and clean I doubt that I will return. I've been to Topline a few times now, and absolutely love it. It is a very clean facility, with a lot of manicure and pedicure stations. I have very stubborn ingrown toenails and Yen has been able to help me every other week when I come in.  I will definitely keep going to see Yen at Topline for all of my mani/pedi needs! Read Less

My wife loves this place.  There are a lot of nail salons around but she says this is the one to go to.  The people here are very friendly and are very good at what they do.  She refuses to go anywhere else since she found this place. This place is truly top notch! Most of the nail places are missing the key.... "Customer service!!" Top line nails is awesome. They always know your name and are friendly. With the exception of one lady the owners Sister...I love everyone there! Clean and nice. They offer you water or soda when u get there and even the manicures come with a back and neck massage! I used to go here all the time when I lived in Bonney Lake. They always did a wonderful job with my acrylics. There was maybe once when I got nicked with the cuticle trimmer. Which was because I told them I didn't have much time, so they had one person doing each hand! Overall great service, the owner and his wife are wonderful. I just left topline nails. They did a fill for me. He was extremely rushed. He made me bleed in three different spots on three different nails. I spoke to the manager. All they said was that they were sorry. I will never go there again. Read Less
