This salon was not very clean, there was dust all over the nail drill cord on the table. The women who did my nails filed and buffed my nails then proceeded to paint them without wiping the dust off them. She then went back and forth to working on another women's feel and me without washing her hands or changing gloves. I couldn't wait to get out of there and scrub my hands and arms. Definitely wouldn't be my go to. My shellac chipped by the time I got home. I told her there were bubbles and she told me it was my nail. Started the massage/lotion part of the manicure and rubbed lotion all over the sleeves of my shirt and didn't bother to ask me to roll them up nor help when my hands were covered in the lotion. She didn't even give me a chance to take my ring off (I had put back on because it appeared like she was done) and rubbed the lotion glob right over my freshly cleaned ring. My daughter got her nails painted and for $15 her nails looked awful. They were all globbed and chipped by the time we got home. Hands down the worst manicure/pedicure that I have ever had. Here's a list of all the things that went horribly wrong after coming in on a whim and saying I wanted a gel mani/pedi with an eyebrow wax. 1) The guy who works there started by removing the old color from my previous gel manicure, but never finished before starting my pedicure, so the acetone dried and the gel hardened again, so when they went to scrape it off, it was like pulling it off your nail beds without any acetone and insanely painful. And because the acetone sat on my cuticles for SO long, it dried them out. 2) The guy doing my pedicure didn't say more than one word to me. He was rough, and not thorough. It was a painful experience, literally. He left the sugar scrub all over my pants and on my legs and feet as he went to apply the lotion. He didn't even wash the scrub off completely. So essentially he just washed my feet in everything all at once. 3) When using the pumice stone he scrubbed the TOPS of my feet. As in he used a pumice stone on bare skin. Not calloused or thick skin bottoms of the feet. He removed the skin on top of my feet. They were bleeding. And he just kept doing it despite me saying something. The other women could tell he was messing this up, so they alternates between 3 other people, continuously causing more and more damage. 4) The woman cutting my cuticles the first time around completely cut my finger. Not knicked it. She full on cut my finger and it was bleeding. She then continued on and pretended to quickly cut the rest of my cuticles without actually cutting anything. 5) The manager then came over and stepped in to finish the manicure. She essentially performs a SECOND file and cuticle cutting because it wasn't done correctly the first time. 6) The for painting my toenails fails to notice or mention that she was low on the nail polish I had picked out until it was too late so the color was splotchy. The manager says to pick another color, so I do. Same thing. They run out of the color. She says pick another color, which after two women run around the shop, they don't even have. At this point I give up on the color. 7) A third person examines my cuticles and determines she needs to FURTHER cut off my cuticles and takes a dremmel TO MY SKIN. A tool meant to sand down acrylic to my skin. 8) They continue to paint my toes and nails to wrong colors, and it's splotchy, and they have painted little black dust shavings into the gel and set it. You can see it in the pictures. That is IN the paint. 9) The paint job is shabby at best, and was performed by a girl who is probably 16 and had dreams to do more with her life but her parents forced her into doing this. 10) The guy who originally did my crap pedi is SLEEPING in the chair next to me. I can't even make this up. 11) The entire process took almost 2 hours. For this. 12) One of the woman asked if I liked my nails, and I said. This was a horrible experience. And she proceeded to just try and shuffle me out the door. 13) I was surely not letting them go anywhere near by eyebrows. 14) As I went up to pay, with bloody fingers, the woman behind me in line pointed out that they had cut my fingers up. Which they responded to with, "She has dry skin. We didn't cut her." As someone who gets mani/pedis often and never encounters this, I can assure you, this is a lie. 15) They want to charge me $66 for this hack job. And I refuse. I explain that I'm willing to pay for a basic mani/pedi, but I would NOT pay full price for what they had done. The owner/manager proceeds to argue with me asking, "Why don't you want to pay?" Which, look lady, if I didn't intend on paying full price to begin with, I wouldn't have come in to begin with. And I still paid for services. Just not the full price. I've done reviews for other nail salons and have never had such a horrible experience. Usually it's quite the opposite, actually. Also, none of their tools come out in sterilized packages so I'll be lucky if I don't get an infection from this. They were grabbing tools from different stations that were not cleaned properly. I'll be submitting a complaint to the health department as well. Most Yelp reviews have to be taken with a grain of salt and a heaping dose of empathy since you can't please everyone, and I'm so very aware of this. But this... this was so beyond terrible. This was a bad experience dealing with the staff, a poor manicure and pedicure, and how they handled the entire situation was just unprofessional, all while the guy is still sleeping in the pedi chair in the background. And of course, lastly, IF YOU'RE GOING TO TALK BADLY ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMERS IN VIETNAMESE, MAKE SURE THEY DON'T ALSO SPEAK IT. The worst overpriced un-cleanly nail salon I have ever been too! The man charged me $30 for a fill with just regular nail polish. He charged me $5 just to drill off my old schelac nail polish after he said that he wouldn't. Then he told me it was $7 for a toenail polish change, then when I paid he told me it was $10 because I asked him to clip my nails. There was also from brown wet food or something on the nail salon chair. Disgusting. The whole nail salon was so gross. Biggest rip of. Worse nail experience of my life I went in to get a fill with Gel and she told me it would be 30 as she took my polish off she said my nails were lifting and I would need a new set and she said it would be 50 for everything. She ended up doing pink and white she never asked me what I wanted she charged me 55.00 after she said 50. Loved the service I got, pedicure, manicure and a brow waxing. Didn't feel rushed but pampered. Could do a better job at explaining the additional prices as they offer services. Not impressed. Did a terrible job painting my nails. I could've done better and the entire reason to go to a nail salon is to get nails done well and I dislike mine. They push you to get shallac and add ons. They asked if I wanted a design without telling me it costs extra and then the design looked terrible by using colors that looked bad with my polish choice. I came here as a third choice after the other two nail salons nearby had 45 minute wait times. This place got us in right away and we didn't sit for too long in the pedicure chairs before it was our turn. I managed to convince my boyfriend that he needed to get his first pedicure and though he wasn't sure at first, he ended up loving it! Lin helped me and she did a wonderful job on both my feet and hands. She recommended not to use lotion on my hands on the day of a gel manicure because she says the polish doesn't stay on as well when there's residue from the lotion. I wasn't aware of this so I will be sure to remember it for next time. She was very meticulous and careful and did a great job. I docked a couple points because the place looks a little run down and it could certainly use some touch ups and also because once we were done and ready to pay, we awkwardly stood at the register for about 5 minutes before anyone came over to ring us up even though it was clear we were waiting to pay and several people looked our way but didn't come to us until I spoke out loud and said we were ready to pay. well first of lets start the guy who did my nails is really rough and cut my skin when tryin to shape . i came here since my nail place in auburn was closed today.BIG MISTAKE should have waited. well i came here and it says full set 25 okay i then do my regular shape and length when im done its 35 im like why because 5 dollar more for length n 5 more for shape,never did i get told that was extra. wont ve coming here for a while they try to make rip you off and pay more. sticking to magic nails instead they dont add more without leting you know and stick to there prices . I have been in twice now for Shellac and thought they did a great job and the shellac looks natural and lasted for a couple of weeks no problem. The place could look a little cleaner but I guess just because it does not look brand new it doesn't mean it is not clean. For a Shellac manicure I paid $23 which I thought was great.Girls were friendly and fast which I love because I don't want to sit there forever. Read Less

Worst pedicure I have ever experienced. Not only was I rushed in and out my toes aren't even completely painted, I had to come home and remove polish from all around my toes and was charged $30! I left in tears because my crumby day just got that much worse. Was only in the 25 mins and now I will need to repaint myself or pay again to have then redone. Will not EVER return. Read Less

I have gone to this nail salon a few times in the past but today will be my lastpedicure is what I came for today and it began at 10:55am and ended at 11:07am - I have never have a $26 dollar TWELVE minute pedicure ever!!! I was one of three customers at the time so not at all busy ..... I was then graciously allowed to sit for about five minutes before telling me I was finished and asking for me to pay as a note: I personally was not at all talkative today as I was typing a very important letter on my phone but smiled and said hello when she arrived to begin the service - just because one does not speak during a service does not mean they deserve less of a service. New Eyelash customer! My regular lady is on leave so I tried this place out. First of all they don't tell you but they want every stitch of eye makeup removed! Ok so then the lady my appt with is doing nails! I made an appointment for a reason and don't have time to sit around and wait, that's why I made an appt!  Seems fairly clean, won't give you a firm price. Says "a full cost bout 40 dollah depend" depends on what!?!?! 40 minutes of waiting and I'm about to walk out! They say "no no be one minute" I don't mind waiting if I don't have an appointment, I get that! But my appt was Over a half an hour ago. So finally to the lashes 50 mins later! She explains she needs to take off of them off and do a new full set. Now $115.00 Because I wear mascara....she says! I don't wear mascara, I do wear eyeliner but this has NEVER been a problem! Instead of popping them off she uses a eyelash removal chemical! My eyes burn like crazy, I tell her and she says "don't move eyes". So because I'm needing them done I say fine. Meanwhile the other lady does my nails (shellac) the shittiest shellac job I've ever had done!Almost traumatic experience! I will never be back and will never suggest ANYONE go to this place! It doesn't look like they have an active facebook page but I found lots of reviews on this facebook (facebook.com/pages/Nails…) and decided to meet a friend here for manicures and catch up a few months ago. It was a GREAT decision! This place is AMAZING! My shellac manicures last for 4-5 weeks, the service is impeccable and they are great at adding cute little details. The prices are a bit higher due to the detail of the polish but it's worth it for the extended manicure and the customer service! Read Less

We just moved to Puyallup and my daughters and I needed to find a new nail place. We tried several in the area. We ran across Nail Center in Summer and haven't been anywhere else since. This is hands down the best place in Puyallup/Sumner. The Ladies who work there are so friendly and make you feel very welcome. They are very professional, fast, and are incredible. The first time my daughters (3) and I came in for pedicures and full sets, we were out of there in an hour with the best pedicure I have ever have, the most perfect and coolest nails I have had in a long time, and I got my eyebrows waxed. We were all relaxed and so happy. Every time I go back I want to do something else. I have had my eyelashes done. Amy is amazing. (I call her "Amazing Amy"!) My eyelashes looked natural, longer, and thicker. I went back to have a facial with Amy. BEST DECISION OF MY LIFE! This was the best facial I have ever had. Amy gives you the most amazing face, neck, head, arm, and hand massage, all while your face is being cleansed, steamed, masked, moisturized, I am telling you. I have never been so relaxed. It was heaven. I absolutely look forward every time I get to go to Nail Center. It is not only Nails! I bring my three daughters and they love it, too. Can't wait to go back! Poor customer service , i was having a mani & pedi service. this guy cut my finger then with a smile he pretty much blame me for his mistake .I understand that mistakes happen, so i didn't say a word to this guy until I had to stopped him from applying super glue on my wounded still bleating finger, yes "SUPER GLUE" .When the service was completely done ; i was charged $51 for the service and i left $15 on tips because obviously they needed more then I .Worst place i have ever been ! I like this place, in the last couple of months with all the stuff on the news about salon cleanliness and safety they have really stepped up. My favorite nail tech is Tina, I always call ahead to make sure she has time for me. I never have chip or crack issues when she does my nails. If she was not forced to take a short leave of absence due to her babysitter moving away I would have given Nail Center a five star review.I called to make an appointment with Tina one day and was informed that she was off for a while and would I like to schedule with someone else. Me being a creature of habit, why take the chance of being disappointed with those prices, I declined. About two minutes after hanging up I received a call back (caller I.D. I assume lol) asking me to please give them a try, if I was unhappy I wouldn't have to pay. Again after having my nails done only to chip or break the next day I declined. The next day I was in Fred Meyer buying some stuff for dinner when the gal that I had talked to on the phone came up to me. She explained that Tina might be out for a couple of weeks and that I should definitely give her a try and again if I was unhappy it would be free of charge. With that display of determination how could I possibly say no again, especially to someone's face lol.I made an appointment for the next afternoon and was pleased with the outcome. Here is where the borderline 4/5 star comes in to play. Three days later one of my nails broke great, I thought, I knew this was going to happen. I went back over directly after work and told them that one of the nails had broken. They had me sit down and they promptly fixed it. When he was done I walked up to the front to pay and he told me no, no charge, we told you that if you didn't like it you didn't have to pay. I was shocked that they had remembered that promise. I tipped him nicely and left. It's been three weeks, time for a full but other than that absolutely no problems. I will return, I do look forward to Tina's return as she is my favorite but the display of good intent by the entire staff made me feel good. The only reason this is a four and not give us because I have an extremely tight schedule and I barely have time to get my nails done let alone go back and get one fixed but this is life.
