Let me preface this by saying I have pretty low expectations of nail salons in Spokane. Unfortunately this one surprised even me. I visited this salon with a friend to catch up and have a girls day. Despite the manicure stations being completely empty they refused to sit me and my friend next to each other. In fact, they sat us on opposite sides of the salon, in the two stations as physically far from each other as possible. While annoyed, we continued. I picked my color and was told they were out. No big deal, I picked again. Also out. I settled on a dark purple. They first bottle they grabbed was a sparkly baby pink. I told them it was wrong and they tried again. The second bottle was a dusty rose with shimmer. They assured me that it would darken with multiple coats. After cutting me without any apology they applied the polish, which didn't darken. When asked if I liked it I said that it wasn't the color I picked and they just repeatedly asked if I liked it. Finally I gave up and said "it's fine."It has been less than a week since the appointment and the polish has started to turn a sickly yellow brown color. It's patchy and gross looking. My nails were lifting and having major issues prior to going to them I had a friend tell me that they are good place to go and she was right! My nails look great and feel great I highly suggest going there. Read Less

I was able to walk in at 5pm and get a solid no-chip at a reasonable price. It's no frills, but definitely clean with sterile tools, friendly techs, and ample color choices. I would certainly go back if I'm in need of a manicure next time I am in the area. Read Less

Famous Nails is always pretty welcoming! I called ahead about 2 hours before to schedule a pedicure, the person on the phone was very friendly. My pedicure experience was great, they even use the lotion scrub to exfoliate and hot towels which was fabulous! I'll be back again for another pedicure. Read Less

I called and made an appointment, I still had to wait 10 minutes ( which I did not mind). After I told the lady again what I wanted (expressed to her over the phone what I needed) she acted like she didn't understand. I wanted an almond shaped nail with a pinkish nude color. The lady told me the only way they could do what I wanted was by picking through 20 or so different powders, none where the color that I wanted. I settled for a sparkly black. The lady who did my nails could not get it to go on evenly and got snappy and rude with me. I suggested she just paint over it with a black color, I was ready to leave. She then gets up and leaves. As I am sitting there with disgusting looking nails, the front desk lady comes over and says they are going to take it off and I need to pick something else. She then tells me the guy who normally does that type of nail quit. Why would you give that as an option if no one there could do it properly? After 5ish minutes my nail lady comes back and starts soaking my fingers. She made my cuticles bleed, and my fingers where dried out from being soaked over and over. I left with a half ass paint job on my nails and each finger is a different shaped oval. After she was done painting my nails she pointed to the nail drying area and said go. I got up to go and grabbed my phone off of the table top, she grabbed my phone out of my hand and pointed again. So I walked over there. She then walked by me and tossed my phone on top of the drying station. She was horribly rude and completely ruined this place for me. Do not take your frustrations out on your paying customers!! Massage chairs do not work well...you have to keep turning them on. While the place seemed clean and busy, the pedicure was very mediocre and the woman was unfriendly and a bit rude. When I asked her to work on smoothing out the bottom of my feet, she gave me an annoyed look (i.e. Elaine in Seinfeld's Nail salon episode). Read Less

it was my first time there, I had an appointment and the lady was upset idk the reason, so she was doing a pretty bad job with my mani and I told her to stop, I wasn't gonna pay for something bad done, they asked me to pay 10$ for that s#!+ and I refused, so the owner instead of being helpful just told me to leave. Just moved to Spokane and came here specifically for the children's pedicure chair. Me and my 6yr old daughter love getting pedis together. Staff was really nice and the place was clean. My daughter was stoked to find the hello kitty OPI polishes they had.  Will definitely be back! Read Less

Third time coming here and always had a great experience getting a mani/pedi. I'm prone to ingrown nails and they take care of them beautifully. Love the massage they give and very nice customer service. Read Less

Super friendly staff and a convenient location. Lots of OPI colors which I like! I got a gold pedicure in honor of the end of summer and I am happy with it.  I felt like the staff was really taking care of me and I was able to relax during my visit.  We did have a bit of a wait to get in, but I always tend to want to get a pedicure on Fridays or 3-day weekends, which I know are popular. We made an appointment for 5 ladies to have pedicures. We arrived 10 minutes before our appointment, and decided to grab coffees. We advised the staff that we'd be right back. (They acknowledged) We came back for our appointment only to see that they allowed another party to take our appointment. They told us it would be 15-20 minute wait. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!! I've been a patron for 20 years or more. They are the best now and their tools are individually in a sterile package. I always ask for Mai, my favorite, but most of them are great!! No bad experiences, ever!!!! Read Less
