Absolutely the worst set of nails I have ever had. Every one of them looks like I have glopped on acrylic lumps. They are entirely too thick, every single one is uneven, and there are portions of my own nail bed that didn't even get coverage. The price said $30 and somehow it became $45. Will never go back. They do a fantastic job, the massages are fabulous!!!!  I got asked if I wanted a design, I said no thank you, looked down a few minutes later and there was a 5.00$ design on my toe, this after I was asked, no wait told, I needed shellac and said no 3 times, I was handed the thing where you choose shellac color. My child was upsold 15$ for marble paint on her fingers, without being told wtf 'marble' is . We will be back because it's convenient and the massages rock. Went in with my sister to get full set and pedicures . Waited 20min had great pedicures (reason for the 1 star)But it all went down hill from there. Told the lady I would like short nails with square tips with regular polish. The lady tried convincing me to spent $10 to gel I said no thank you about 6times after that she was very rude and very rough with my hands she cut my finger and I have 3 nails that are not straight , cuticles not clipped and nail polish not even and the lady that was applying my nails was acting like it was a race. Other than the fact they talk to each other the entire time you're in their chair.......Fabulous place. They go a far better job than most places in town... I have been far north and on the south hill and a few in between... this place was (mostly) clean and had probably 300 colors to choose from. They don't really try to up sale you... they take their time, give good massages and show they actually care what your digits look like before you walk out.Fairly priced and had a ton of seats without much of a wait!!!!!I'll be back!!!! I’m here for the second time and see no filth as one of you said opposingly, it is clean and neat. I am at vida nails on Sullivan.... for the last time. I'm sitting here watching as people are done with their pedicures and the staff uses the towels from under the feet and rinses the tub out with just water and wipes it down with the towel used on the customers feet-- no chemicals used to clean or clean towels. What the actual F***!!!!! Admittedly I freaked out and they did a full scrub down on all chairs--- while I am here in what is probably a disgusting foot tub.Read Less

This place is absolutely horrible I don't even know where to begin. I used to go there all the time back in 2015 and never had a problem. I loved their work and customer service until one day when I started getting my nails done again (December of 2016) the lady told me the color I wanted was ugly which frankly it doesn't matter what she thinks because they are MY NAILS. Not only that but she did a shitty job. I found a new salon I started going to after that until recently w...hen I did a walk-in they were so busy and unfortunately I was impatient so made the mistake of returning back to Vida Nails and had shown the lady a photo of what I wanted she said she could do gel. Meanwhile I'm getting them done she asked if I liked the work and I told her no. I wish I took a photo of what they looked like, rather than an ombré it was literally half pink and half purple and I told her I didn't like it. Well then she told me she can't make it look like the photo I shown her and told me I should have got the powder instead of gel which I don't understand why she wouldn't have stated that in the first place. Worst place I've ever been, this is what my nails looked like after. The only reason I went there was because I received a gift card for my birthday. Wouldn't ever recommend to anyone, we waited almost a half an hour for them to even start doing our nails and they didn't even paint the whole nail, I have bubbles in the polish and my cuticles are the worst I've ever seen them. Worst place I have ever been. I went to get a pedicure and the tub my feet were in was broken and weird stuff floating in the water. When asked to move I was told no. Then cut my toe nails on one foot but not the other. Also was asked to have nails cut that were missed and she didn't understand me. The place was packed when I got here and never saw them clean the tubs. The lady pounded on my legs so hard I and going to have bruises. Will never go back. So gross! Read Less

Being a stranger in town for a couple of interviews, it is a bit unnerving to go 8nto a strange nail salons.  But, I my worry wasn't necessary.  From the moment I entered, I was made to feel welcome.  This shop isn't the usual "rush you through" shop.  My girl took her time, asking me what I preferred, abd taking great pains to remove as m6xh product as possible before applying new product.  Although she only required about an hour for my fill, she was head and shoulders above the two previous nail technicians I had visited, one in Southern Oregon, and the other in St. George, Utah, as well as the the one in Provo, Utah and the one in Urekah, California.    I would be happy to return to this shop on a regular basis. I have been going to Vida Nails for quite awhile.  As a working mom, I schedule an appointment because I have limited time.  I arrive on-time for my appointments and have to wait anywhere from 15-40 minutes.  Apparently, if a walk-in comes in, they are attended to regardless of appointments coming in..........makes NO sense!!  Last Saturday was the last time I will be going to Vida Nails due to this issue...........really poor management. Went to get a pedicure and the lady sat on the phone the whole entire time. She was on the phone for the duration of the whole pedicure, and the pedicure took like 10 minutes because she was so lazy. She didn't even massage my feet or legs, just rubbed her hands on my legs for like 5 minutes. I would never go here again. Don't ever get ur eyebrows done here I literally left crying in tears the lady messed up my eye brows and had the nerve to have me pluck my own eyebrows because she wasn't doing it right I told her no ! I'm paying u to do my eyebrows ?! I came in wanting a shellac mani/pedi and was told by one of the staff to pick a different color because the 40 dollars for toes was too much money. I  had to argue with this woman about spending money in her establishment. I was so embarrassed I ended up just picking a color I didn't want so I would get out faster since the place was packed. I went in on a Friday morning right when they opened (I had made an appt) for a pedicure.  Women were piling in, over 20 women wanting a pedicure and all seemingly had a 9:15am appt.  The person who did my pedi did a pretty bad job on scrubbing my feet.  He was trying to get to the other 19 women who wanted a pedi as there were only 5 workers.  The only positive was the nail polish, it's still on 3 weeks later.  I will never go back as they seem to triple book to make LOTS of cash.
