The last time I went in for acrylics my index fingers were horribly longer then the rest, I asked them to even it out multiple times. Today I went with my sister with a very specific picture (it wasn’t anything crazy) and my nails look nothing like the picture. The owners wife gave my sister a manicure and was VERY obviously irritated my sister didn’t know the difference between a full set and manicure bc it was her first time having her nails done. She caused my sister to bleed and had to get a cotton ball and have her soak her hands. Read Less

As I'm sitting here, waiting for my appointment, I realized I've never written a review! I feel like a bad client. I've been coming here for 4 years, and there's a good reason why. I travel for work, and have gotten my nails done all over the country. No one does it like they do. They always get exactly what I want, and they helped me figure out what that was in the beginning. I come in twice a month religiously, and since the beginning, they have known my name, my kids names (I bring the girls in every once in awhile for a pedi/mani), they ask about my family, who also comes here, and they genuinely care about my life. Always wanting to know what's new. But what's better, they even know when I don't want to talk, just want to relax and get my nails done. I couldn't ask for a better place to come. Read Less

They sucked i just went and got my nails done and 3 of my nails u can see still and they just have poor service and dont interact with u i will never come here again no wonder they werent busy there was one other person in therr within the 2 hrs i was there im suprised there business is still open Read Less

Both owners were impatient and passed off work that wasn't what I wanted. When I stated that was not what I asked for he simply stood up and walked away after being rough on my hands. When I said the same thing to her when she took over, she had a hard voice saying I was at fault. The fill price was $15 but she charged $30 saying I had chosen gel nail polish. She never explained the costs before presenting the bill.  I would not go back. Read Less

I don't like giving bad reviews but I will NEVER go here again, first off I took my cousin and my grandmother here for a treat. I paid $170 for 3 pedicures each was $25 they didn't scrub my feet with a sandstone just pretty much washed them clipped my nails and painted them. My cousin and I got acrylics done with gel clear coat the nails were uneven and when I asked them to fix it they charged me an extra $15 for it. To top it off I have never had my nail beds hurt so much in my entire life, my cousin experienced the same thing as well. Typically acrylics last two weeks until you fill them again well both outs started to pop off. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE service they pretty much wanted to get us in and out as fast as they could. I LOVE Star Nails.....one of the best nail salons in Spokane,  Both Gordon and his wife Vikki are awesome nail techs and just really nice people.  I've tried numerous salons and Star Naiis far and away the best nail salon I've tried.  My acrylic nails and my pedicures are consistently beautiful.  Try them and I'm sure you will as pleased as I am. It's hard to find a good pedicure, where they don't rush through the process now days...I believe it's their daughter? Ether way the young girl usually does my pedicures and she's very kind and really takes her time, when doing the sugar scrub or any of the massages.! I have been going to Star Nails for over 5 years, and I must say that Gordon does a perfect job on my backfill French nails each and every time. I am always getting compliments on my nails and do my best to send business their way, Vicki does an amazing job as well, I have never had a better pedicure, and she has done my nails as well. Kayla did a gel French manicure on my daughters nails and she could not have been happier. We love Star Nails try it out you will too. Read Less

Horrible experience. Horrible customer service. I purchased a pedicure which included a ten minute foot massage. I requested they remove the dead skin from the heels, toe, and sides of my feet. (This was the only reason I went in.) I was wearing a long skirt (that I had pulled up to my knees) and assumed that they had done as I asked. The technician had quickly used a pumice stone, and I assumed that I would not need to check that she had done her job properly. Soon after leaving the sharp dead skin (that was NOT removed) caught on my long skirt, and I checked my feet only to find the glaring problem. Not to mention, they never even told me when I was done. The tech just got up and left and started working on someone else. When I called asked to speak with the manager he refused to assist me. Saying that he would fix my feet,only after I had explained that I was literally about to leave on a plane home. ( I was raised in Spokane but live in California.) I requested a partial refund and told them my mother would pick it up. The "manager" then told me that he refused to do that and handed the phone off to what I can only assume was the nearest female technician. She then proceeded to tell me that I was a bad person for requesting a partial refund ( a mere $15), and asked if I thought I was a nice person to do so. I explained that its not about being nice. I paid for and asked specifically for the dead skin to be removed, and low and behold, it was STILL there. I could go on and on, but I'll leave it at this: If you are crazy enough to go here, meticulously check the technicians work before you leave. Because once they have your money, they do NOT care to make their customers happy. They ONLY accept cash, because of course, now I cannot request a charge back. Does that seem fishy to you too? Yeah.
