I have been going to Anna's Nails for about 4-5 years for pedicures and I love it! I have ingrown toenails that I even had surgery for, while living in N. Carolina. Hybrid is my Nail artist and so very competent, professional and very friendly too! I haven't had any problems since going for regular and sometimes deluxe pedi. I highly recommend this salon and even tried another in the Valley with a gift certificate, but will always come here. There was no comparison. Read Less

Worst experience ever!! Went to get a regular mani/pedi for a wedding. When called they told me it would be 30.00 for both then when I went to pay they charged me 67. The guy doing my nails made my fingers & toes bleed!!! When he did my finger nails he did it in the same spot where my pedi was done so everything got all over my dress for the wedding. It saddens me to leave a bad review, but 3 strikes and you're out.  The last 2 visits were the worst.  I thought that maybe it's just a hit-n-miss thing, and I'm getting the lesser experienced people.  I went in for a 1/2 leg wax - the girl was very nice, but the wax was WAY too hot, and she burned me!  Then, she started BLOWING on the wax to cool it down!  AND, she double dipped the same sick in the wax pot. Ugh.  I stopped the service when she had only done 3 strips on one leg (and THAT for my SAFETY).  I've NEVER done that.  She still charged me for one leg!  Unbelievable. I decided several months later to give it one more try for a pedicure.  The girl CUT my skin on my big toe, right at the edge where she was filing.  She kept wiping over it with cotton and the water from the bowl.  She spoke no English, but I'm pretty sure "OW!" is universal!  I allowed her to just finish off the rest of the pedi, and to her credit, she was careful not to touch that toe anymore.  I had her skip the alcohol (obviously) since I dislike torture.  I had to forego having her put on my nail polish.  She still charged me full price.  I usually tip 25-30% for services, but in this case I gave her a dollar for the very short massage.  My toe is still throbbing as I write this.  I'll have to wait a good week before going SOMEWHERE to have an ACTUAL pedicure (with color and everything -eye roll).   I really question whether all of these women are actually licensed/certified.  I simply cannot recommend this place.  Try: "Nailed It" at Earthly Beauty Bar ....  Embellish on Gov't Way .... I used to get my french acrylic nails done regularly here a few years ago until I stopped wearing acrylic nails. I went back a few weeks ago and was very disappointed in the quality of service. First, the staff is the same as a few years ago, but they still cannot speak proper English to even communicate about the services you want. Second, because of the first item, I could not even visually demonstrate that I wanted long acrylic french nails. And, I wanted my toes done the same. They did my hands and toes at the same time, and while enjoying the massage chair and trusting they knew what I wanted, they did my toes with gel polish, put a clear coat on it (extra $)! The girl doing my hands started to do the same, even though I told her I wanted my nails longer (which means you add tips, right?)and I didn't look at my toes because I thought he knew what he was doing too. After stopping her and he intervened in very broken English, he finally realized the issue. But worse, he blamed me for the misunderstanding. Then, to add insult to injury, my acrylic french nail was started way too high on all but the one finger he asked me if it was okay. This means that it didn't get done at my natural nail line, so it looked awful from the start, not after 10 days when they grow out. And, to top it off, it also makes them more money because now I would have had to come back in way sooner! And, he wouldn't have been able to do a fill, it would have to have been another full set because of the way he did them so poorly. And, the gel clear coat on my toes has become yellow, so I will have to remove it where if he had done the acrylic like I asked it would have lasted at least a month or more since toenails don''t grow as quickly. The statement "You get what you pay for" might apply, except I paid $105 for this! I will be finding another salon and pay for a quality service and a clear conversation. This is an honest complaint from someone that did business with them for years and finally realized my patronage wasn't valued when I got poor service possibly as retribution for complaining. Not happy! Came in on my lunch hour for a mani/pedi. Was seated right away and my pedi was started. The woman who did my nails seemed nice enough but did not speak any English. No problem for me...except for the fact that she couldn't tell me what she needed me to do and yanked my foot around whenever she needed me to move.  When she filed my toes it felt like she was taking off half my skin. The pedi looked decent enough but by the time she got done my lunch hour was almost over and there was no time for the manicure so I left with ugly hands! I won't be back! Absolutely The Worst service I had ever had! They rushed me through so fast, I did NOT enjoy my pedicure AT ALL!!! They would not listen to me when I told them I had a bad knee & really hurt me. I have been going to Anna's now for several months. My personal experience is that Anna, Anthony and their staff are very kind, professional and compassionate. I have never felt uncomfortable there or unsatisfied with my service. I have also had my eybrows done and Anna is gentle and amazing. I was so impressed with them that I began taking my Mom and Dad there as well (they're in their 70's) for monthly deluxe mani's and pedi's. They as well couldn't be happier. I encourage you to go see them and try out how nice it is to be able to walk in most times (they do take appointments as well) have your nails, toes, or waxing done quickly and professionally and be completely happy when you leave. I've been to numerous nails salons over the years. This is the only salon I've found that actually does pink and white acrylic nails using acrylic powder. Very important if you want a fill and want your nails to look as good as they did the first time you got them done. For french manicure, I highly recommend. Terrible! Got gel nails which faded in 2 days. I was on vacation so I couldn't get back in for a week, at which point they refused to fix them or offer a discount or anything. This was after they tried to insist that I'd ASKED for a washed out pinkish white color. They were a beautiful pink when I left town. 3 words.  Rhymes with cursed.  Worst pedicure ever.  My friend had been here before and found it reasonable and feels it might have been ok if we'd stuck with the basic rather than the deluxe.  A week later, I disagree.  1.  Massage was about 2 minutes and umm. Not really a massage.  More like having a bunch of misquitos slapped off you.2.  before I even left the polish just wiped right off - not even smudeged - clean off.  My friend had it happen to her too about 1 hour later.  3.  Two nails needed to be cut when I got home.4.  Another nail chipped 2 days later5.  One week later the ends are rubbed off on 3 and 2 more are chipped.  And for this I paid more than I'd ever paid for a pedi in the Bay Area. I loved my pedi and mani! Very affordable I only paid $30 for both! It was quick I was there for about an hour and 15 min for drying time and all. The thing I really liked was seeing that they actually clean the foot baths between customers so many nail salons don't take the time to do that and it has prevented me from getting pedis and manis in the past. All the tools were taken from sterile packaging. So I WASN'T thinking the whole time about infections and fungus! Joe did a great job! Anna's ALWAYS does an excellent job. This is the only place where I have ever had my nails done without the nail bed being sore the next day. The work is extremely professional and flawlessly done. They are always on schedule, I never have to wait when I make an appointment. The prices are very competitive compared to others in the area. I would give 5 stars but I have not used the pedicure service nor the spa services. Although, I have noted that the foot bath water is always freshly drawn for each client and when the procedure is done the baths are spotlessly cleaned and disinfected.
